did they know that this was going to happen? did they use us as a sacrifice? i'll never know, now.

"you'll have to do it no matter what, you'll never see daylight if you don't." they were scary. we were young and stupid but that didn't mean that we had no life. i was more than mad at them for treating u this way because we never had nay say in this. if you think about it you'll realise how cruel and unfair of them it is to suddenly kidnap us from our families and keep us underground for almost a year by now.

a life awaited for the 8 of us and we were missing out on  it just because of a stupid conference they conducted in order to go through the law that was made by the higher ups. how stupid of you for being so selfish and greedy, creating chaos.

"do you understand what you have to do?" the eldest of the group's sound resounded throughout the auditorium as he fixed his mask, startling jin who stood next to me, to which i simply held his hand and no one replied except for looking at the ground which caused him to become angry.

"you dare not answer?" a soldier had asked which made us apologize almost instantly and respond with a 'yes, sir'.

"very well then." they said before exiting the auditorium and going back to their headquarters.

"i'm scared too, areum." jin whispered, oblivious to the fact that i can hear him clearly enough to lay my head on his shoulder and lay my head on his shoulder as i hugged his arm.

everyone just froze there to take in the fact that they are going to eave this place tomorrow and go to 'restore peace' when honestly we're just being sent out as excuses so that the higher ups would not have to confront the citizens of the 9 planets.

"we'll be okay, yeah?" yoongi asked, his eyes never leaving the floor. i turned my head to the right to look at him stand at the end of the line, me clearing my throat before i said "yeah." along with namjoon.

i walked up to the front to catch their attention and they all looked up, i sighed before crossing my hands before i said "look, ya'll should not be sulky. we only have to attack if we couldn't talk it out and considering the fact that namjoon has an amazing skill of convincing others, why are ya'll worrying, honestly. chin up, put your head up high and don't let your emotions get in the way for a while. once we've convinced all of them, we could go home, remember?"

"yeah, you'd have no problem with stopping your emotions from getting in your way because you have no family. fuck off, areum, stop being so-"

"taehyung! quit being a jerk!" jin said in my defense to which i just painfully smiled in gratitude.

"it's ok jin, i guess i was a bit too harsh. and i'm also sorry for considering us as a family, taehyung. i just wanted to comfort you all and this is not the way i wanted to do it." i said as i slightly bowed before slowly exiting the room as well, going into my dorm room that was restricted area for the other boys.

"thanks a lot, taehyung." jin said before he began running after me but was too late because i has already entered the area the area that was protected with lasers.

"you were too harsh on her." yoongi said before walking out the auditorium, half his attention looking for me and the other just straight up sleepy and done. "did she go in?" he asked out loudly, startling jin as he almost instantly look behind to see who it was.

seeing it was yoongi, he wore a heavy expression before nodding his head. "why the heavy expression?" he asked jin, "AREUM YOU BETTER COME OUT BECAUSE I REALLY DON'T WANT TO GET KILLED BY LASERS BUT I WILL FOR YOU, WOMAN." he yelled out, shocking jin and causing him to turn his attention back to the door. jin whispered "try saying saying 'here i go, you're about to kill me' it might work."

"I'M COMING THROUGH, YOU'RE ABOUT TO BECOME THE REASON WHY I DIE, AR." he said before closing in on the laser, almost touching it before i kicked my door open, mouthing 'don't you fucking dare'.

yoongi simply laughed along with jin's windshield laugh, clapping their hands as jin was literally rolling on the floor while yoongi just rested his weight on the wall, displaying his adorable gummy smile.

"assholes." i said before walking out of the restricted area, them literally grabbing my arm before they began dragging me to the cafeteria area.

"you do know that i don't want food at 4 friggin' a.m. right?" i asked them, causing them to pause before looking at me. "wait so you were going back to sleep?" jin asked.

"yeah.." i replied. "but you have practice." yoongi stated. 

"not until 7 today, no." i said.

"WHAT?!" they both exclaimed loudly, causing me to cover my ears. "yeah, i'm having practice at 7 today because i have some exercises that i have to practice at that particular time with my trainer." i stated, making them instantly apologize before walking away quickly into the cafeteria, me wearing a weird look as i walked back into my room, shut the door close and tried to fall asleep.
