Chapter Ten -Close Call-
Sorry, it's short. I'm having some writers block ;-;
Sky walked around the dark hallway, lost in thought. He forgot how the two died, being...alone. He sighed, looking over his shoulder.....just in time to see a needle fly towards him. He screamed and ducked, the needle curved downwards. He screamed again, narrowly avoiding it for the second time. It twisted around him, grazing his neck. He gasped, feeling a small amount of blood bubble out. The needle went stray for his eye. With a quick swipe, he grabbed it by the string. It was like magic, being able to just... 'fly'. It tugged and tugged, then stopped. Sky let out his breath, thinking he was safe. That is...until hundreds of needles appeared behind him. He screamed louder then he ever had, and ran down the hall. As he ran, they followed; a few stabbed into his flesh. He winced, but continued to run. He could see the light! More stabbed into him, his back, arms, legs, one even in his neck! The thread wrapped around his body; he ignored it, running faster. His legs screamed for him to stop, but he kept going. He ran into the room filled with people. The second he stopped, his legs gave out, and he collapsed. The needles went limp, maybe because of the people? He cough, clawing the string from around his neck. "H-hi guys." He uttered. Mitch jumped up, Husky as well. Both ran over to help. "What happened!?" Mitch demanded. "I-I went out...a-alone." He replayed, pulling the needle from his neck. Mitch instantly slapped him. He Yelped with an 'ow!' and glared at him. "Don't go out alone!" Husky examined the needles, then, briskly and gingerly yanked them out. "I-I know. I...forgot..." Mitch knelled down, "You can't just forget. One....small mistake...could get you killed."
