Outside her window Al was listening to the hospital chatter. "Mrs. Madden you really should get some sleep." He heard weeping. "No I don't need sleep. Not while my baby girl is like this." "Alright but at least come to the cafeteria and get some food." She took awhile to respond but she did. They dimmed the lights so if Kayla woke up the light wouldn't harm her eyes. It started to rain. It was a thunderstorm. The room was dark. Then there was a flash of lightning and The Punisher was standing in front of Kayla's bed dressed in his shirt and his long trench coat. His tears reflected by the lightning. "How could I let this happen?". She was bruised on the face and had a massive gash on her right arm. He ran his hand gently on her face around the bruise. He clenched his fist and ground his teeth. "When I find who did this..." He looks at her clipboard. "The officer who is working her case has to be named in here somewhere." He found officer Ralph Lawrence. Before he left he kissed her on the forehead and the in next flash of lightning he was gone.
