IT WAS A SUNNY WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON, four days after the victorious match of Gryffindor. And also four days after Hermione's revelation.

The past few days Hermione tried to look for Isaac. Ever since that day she wanted to see him, wanted to hangout with him again. Sadly, it was harder than she thought. She checked in the places she thought he'd be in.

The library, the Astronomy Tower, even trying to reach out for him in the Great Hall. Isaac was a very good hider when he wanted to. And Hermione was absolutely furious at the fact.

She was walking around the hallways, looking at every corner of every corridor. Even checking to see if he was in any abandoned classroom. Everytime he wasn't in a place she thought he'd be in, she'd sigh then continue on with her walk.

Hermione turned a corner and almost fell as she bumped into someone. Luckily, the person was quick to steady both of them. Hermione sighed in relief, but eventually when she looked up she was confused at first but then smiled triumphantly at who she saw.

"I am so so sorry! I didn't see you and I was rushing towards a date- Oh God! This is what Isaac and Vi always tease me about..." Thomas was standing infront of her, looking anywhere but her eyes. Hermione giggled at him before waving her hand dismissively.

"It's alright, Thomas. I was actually looking for Isaac... would you know where he is?" He looked at her with a hint of surprise. Thomas seemed to not notice who she was until he snapped his fingers and nodded at her, his face full of recognition.

"Ah! Your that Hermione girl Isaac talks about! He never stopped talking about you and your two other friends last year!" She blushed at the fact that Isaac actually talked about her to his friends.

"I umm.. All good things I hope?" Thomas laughed at her and patted her shoulder.

"Not only good things! He praises you a lot! Saying how intelligent you are and how your expressions were so cute." His face turned from a happy grin to a look of realization, regret and embarrassment.

His mouth trembled slightly. Thomas looked at her, scared she might say something to Isaac about what he said. He swiftly took her hands in his in a praying motion, Hermione looked at him with mild shock and confusion.

"Please do not and I mean not tell Isaac I ever told you any of this please. He'll bloody kill me if he knows I told you about this." Hermione chuckled nervously at him, trying to find a way to get her hands back.

It was silent for a few moments. Thomas was looking up at her like a puppy begging to its owner. Hermione tried to find the right words to say, not fully knowing what to do in a situation like this.

As she opened her mouth to speak, but she was cut off by a loud shout from the man infront of her.

"PLEASE!!!"

She flinched at how loud and dramatic he was being. She looked around her to see many people already looking at them, some already whispering to each other. Hermione looked back towards Thomas, who seemingly didn't notice the people gossiping around them.

She cleared her throat, slowly moving her hands away from his grip. "I-I won't tell Isaac. I promise."

Thomas smiled happily, like a child who earned his favorite toy, and moved a step away from her. "Thank goodness. I wouldn't know how to hide from Isaac once he knows about this. The bloody git can find me anywhere."

Hermione giggled a bit, pushing a strand of her hair behind her ear. She looked up at him and gave him a small smile. "Umm.. do you know where Isaac is?"

Thomas looked at her with wide blinking eyes. He stood there frozen for a bit before groaning into his hand and shaking his head. "I am so sorry. I went completely off topic. Um... I don't know where he is anymore. Mate's got so much to do I rarely see him. I'm sure Violet would know, she might be in the library so you can ask he- hey wait!"

Hermione didn't let him finish his sentence as she sped towards the direction of the library. She moaned as realization dawned upon her. It would have been easier for her to just ask his friends rather than go on a wild goose chase.

Once she arrived, she quickly looked through the isles. Hermione stopped once she saw blond hair neatly tied into a ponytail in between the section for Care of Magical Creatures. She smiled happily and approached the blonde, tapping her shoulder to gain her attention.

Violet looked up from her book, looking a bit shocked with a hint of curiousity when she saw Hermione was the one who tapped her on the shoulder. She gave the other girl a warm smile before closing her book.

"Hello Hermione. How may I help you?" It was very rare for Violet and Hermione to talk. The only times they really talked to each other were when they were with Isaac.

"Well... do you know where Isaac is?" Violet looked at her, amused that she was looking for him. She giggled a bit before nodding.

"Yeah, he's outside by the lake." Hermione smiled gratefully at Violet before waving goodbye, scurrying towards the Lake.

Violet giggled to herself, a thought in her head as she looked back towards her book.

They love each other so much.

Hermione wasn't expecting what she saw when she arrived at the Lake. And she certainly was feeling butterflies flutter in her as she stared at the sleeping figure of Isaac, right at the edge of the Lake.

She crouched down, not fully knowing what to do in the situation. She smiled down at his adorable face, lightly brushing her fingers through his hair. A small smile made it's way to his face as he snuggled a bit on her hand.

Hermione giggled to herself as she continued to watch Isaac. She was glad he looked peaceful now, rather than the gloomy look she saw when he was in the Hospital Wing.

Hermione was too distracted with her thoughts to notice Isaac's eyes slowly flutter open. His eyebrow's furrowed at the feeling of gentle fingers running through his hair. He looked up, trying not to surprise the person.

He smiled, confused but happy that he saw Hermione. Isaac loved the feeling of her fingers running through his hair. It was very soothing and relaxing.

After a few minutes, Isaac was getting slightly worried at how Hermione hasn't noticed he was awake. He grinned a bit and spoke up to get her attention. "So now your here with me? After avoiding me like the plague."

Hermione's hand abruptly moved away from his hair, her arms up as if surrendering to him. She looked down at him with a cute blush and a clearly flustered face. She was stuttering a bit and Isaac found this very adorable.

He sat up a bit, facing Hermione as she sat down on the grass cross-legged. He smiled at her warmly, making her even more flustered at him.

"W-well you were avoiding me too you know." Hermione sent him a playful glare, hoping he remembered what had happened that night.

"What are you-"

Isaac's eyes widened as the memory of that night in the hospital wing came back into his mind. He almost forgot why they were even avoiding each other until it popped into his mind. Isaac looked away, a bit shy about the memory. He cleared his throat and looked towards her, a sheepish grin on his face. "About what I said in the Hospital Wing..."

Hermione looked at him with a blank look. He didn't know if she was mad about it or a bit flustered at it. He looked at her, hoping she wasn't furious with him. But he was met with her shy smile. "Did you... mean it? That you cared about me a lot?"

Isaac bit his lip a bit before nodding slowly. Hermione took note of this and looked away from him, anxious about what he would answer to her next question. "And... how much do you care about me?"

Isaac closed his eyes, already expecting her to ask the question. He wasn't sure if he should tell her exactly how much he cared about her, but one look at her pleading eyes made his resolve crumble.

"I care about you... to the point where I love you so much." Hermione looked at him, embarrassed and a bit flustered at how straightforward he was.

Her mouth opened and closed, Hermione didn't fully know what to say yet. Sure she knows about her feelings now, but it seemed to... abrupt for them to just date now.

Isaac noticed her hesitation and smiled warmly at her. He held both her hands with his own, gaining her attention. He looked into her beautiful brown eyes. "You don't need to give me an answer Hermione. Honestly I don't think I really need one. I..."

Hermione felt a pang of guilt fill her heart. She cursed mentally, remembering what she told him the year prior, hating herself for lying to him about her crush on Ron.

She bit her lip, hoping he wouldn't curse at her or shout. He gave her a warm smile, finishing his sentence.

"I'm fine with just being your friend."
