First off, it's great that you aren't suicidal and that you don't cut. Please, promise me you will never hurt yourself. I've seen it with my best friend, and even with me. It never makes ANYTHING better. Anyways, I agree that boys are annoying. (psst it's secretly why I'm gay) But honestly, boys are a part of life, whether we like it or not. As for you hurting on the inside, think about what makes you happy. For me, it's Demi Lovato, Taylor Swift and my crush who I shall not name here. Keep being yourself, and soon enough, everyone will see just how amazing you are.

You see, ProjectNotAshamed is about being yourself without being ashamed of it. You are you, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. Boys tease you and make fun of you? That is a sign of disrespect. You are stronger than that, you're worth way more than what they show you. Your real life community doesn't support you and makes you feel unwelcome? You'll have to make that shining spot for yourself. But remember, don't lose yourself while you're doing that. You are who you are, and you have to be proud of it.
