I turned to face the man. "H-hello?" I nervously asked.

He looked up towards me. "Host says hi and waves." Host waved. I bit my lip unsure of what to do.

Before I could say anything the Host turned away from me and starts messing with something.

About halfway through my shift the man spoke up again. "Host apologizes for bothering y/n. But, does she feel like something is different than usual tonight?"

I look up at him. "Y-yes... do you feel like something is different?" I bite my lip nervously.

"Of course Host knows. He recognizes anything that goes wrong before anyone else." Host smiled.

"But then why did you ask me if I thought something was wrong?" I asked nervously.

"Host wanted to see if anyone else had noticed yet."

Something about that sentence made me feel uneasy. I felt goosebumps form on my arm. My eyes widened as my mind ran over everything that he had said. "Wait. How do you know my name?! I NEVER told you my name!" I stood up starting to get defensive.

Host just smirked in response. "Host knows most things."

My breathing was heavy as I tried to calm down.

"Would y/n like to know something else?"

I looked down unsure of what to say. "M-maybe?"

"Simple yes or no's are preferred by Host." He grumbled.

I sighed. "Fine then. Yes."

Host smirked before replying. "One of the most dangerous things is how attached, and addicted you can become to someone."

I sat there silently. "Wh-what does that have to do with anything..?" I asked nervously.

"Host tells y/n to stop playing stupid. She knows exactly what he means." Host scoffed.

I think and try to make sense of what he just told me. I thought back to everything that had happened since I got a job here.

Well there's Dakota... could he possibly be meaning her?.... no. He isn't. Yes I'm attached to her but I'm not addicted. And there's my house, but I'm not attached or addicted to that.

Wait...

No. He can't possibly mean...

A smirk grew on Hosts face. I glanced at the time, just wanting to leave.

3 am. It's only 3 in the morning. Fuck my life so hard right now.

The lights flickered.

"Host what the hell is going on?!" I asked frantically.

"Don't worry about it. Everything will fall into place." Host smirked.

Everything inside me told me to leave and just go home. I took out my phone to call Cody. I didn't think it was serious enough to press the call button on the wall so I'd just text him or something.

Y/n: Hey Cody? What's going on?

I waited several minutes and got no reply. The lights flickered again before completely burning out. I walked over to the door and looked outside into the hallway.

The only thing that I could see where the faint outlines of everything out there and the soft glow of the red emergency lights. I bit my lip nervously and debated whether or not I should go out and leave Host in here alone.

He'd be fine right? I mean, Cody said that I was only in here for precautionary measures.

"H-host I'm gonna go out and see what's wrong. Okay?" I looked at him.

"Host is not the one you should be worried about." He smiled.

I shiver ran down my back as I turned back to the door. I opened it slowly, peaking out to see if anyone was in the hallway. It was silent. Way too quiet. I took a deep breath and walked out, letting the door close behind me. I could hear the sound of rain splatting on the roof of the building.

I don't remember seeing anything about it raining today...

I sighed and started walking down the hall warily. A crack of thunder rippled from somewhere outside. I pulled my shirt sleeves farther around my hands. I looked around, searching for any sign of anyone.

Where is everyone! Google and Bing should be around here somewhere! Not to mention the guards. Where are they all?!

An inhuman laugh echoed through the halls. I squeaked and collapsed onto the ground in a ball. My breathing was heavy and uneven.

It's fine y/n. Calm down. It's just in your head.

I calmed myself down and stood up slowly. My legs were shaking. It's fine, everything's fine, there's nothing to worry about. You'll find everyone, everything will be fine, and wh-who knows. Maybe they'll let you go home early...

I kept calming myself down and slowly took a step forward. I started singing a bit to help calm myself down.

All I want is nothing more...

Another crack of thunder sounded and I took a deep breath. I kept walking and continued to mutter the song to myself.

Another laugh echoed, closer to me this time. My breathing got heavy again.

Are you serious y/n? Calm. Down. Stop being such a sissy.

I felt something move behind me and I flipped around. I looked around searching for what could have caused it.

Great. Now I'm paranoid. I mumbled to myself. I keep walking slowly. Something cold brushed up against my cheek. I shivered and looked around trying to find whoever or whatever did that to me.

It was a weird feeling though. It was freezing cold yet warm at the same time.

I made it to the end of the hall and looked around the corners. This is the main area! People should be out and walking about! Not to mention somebody should be at the doors!

Another laugh echoed. This one much lower pitched and less glitchy. I kept looking around trying to find somebody.

Anybody.

Then everything went dead silent. The rain stopped, no thunder could be heard, every sound was gone. Except for the sound of my heart beating in my throat and my heavy breathing.

I stood there for what felt like an hour, too scared to move. Just as I got my courage up to take another step a huge crack of thunder boomed. I screamed and looked around frantically. The rain had returned as well.

The inhuman and glitched laughing had returned. It was much louder this time and a small whimper escaped from somewhere inside me.

I gulped before gaining a bit of confidence. "Wh-who's there?" I asked quietly.

The glitched laughing began again. "Awww. Princess doesn't recognize us!" The voice that replied back seemed so familiar, but I couldn't put a name or a face to it. I was too busy being scared.

I felt something beside me, but when I looked nothing was there. "Over here..." A deeper voice cooed into my ear. I spun around only to be met with nothing.

Both voices laughed this time. I gulped again and looked around. I felt something run along my jawline. My hand flew up to my face and covered the spot that I felt had been touched.

"You're adorable when you're scared..." The glitchy voice cooed into my other ear.

"WHO THE HELL IS THERE?!" I practically yelled, spinning on my heels to look around.

"Take a guess." The two voices replied at the same time.

My head was clouded from the fear and adrenaline.

"Come on Princess. It's not that hard..." The deeper voice seemed to get closer to me. I blinked for maybe a millisecond.

When I opened my eyes Darkiplier himself stood in front of me smiling and holding my chin. My eyes widened and I nearly fell to the floor. Two strong arms caught me from behind. "No no no, you can't fall asleep yet. The fun's barely started!" Dark smiled.

Wait if Dark's standing in front of me then...

I looked up and saw Anti. My breathing quickened and I felt hot tears pricking my eyes.

"Wh-where is everyone?" I asked extremely quietly.

"Home. Simple brainwashing. Doesn't take much effort really. They'll wake up tomorrow and think it's just like any other day." Anti smiled.

"That is, until they find us missing." Dark added, smirking.

This has to be a dream... I think to myself.

"Oh it isn't. Trust me. We don't have the energy for that right now." Antis smile turned into a smirk.

"S-since when h-have you been able t-to read m-minds?" I ask quietly.

"Since forever." Anti laughs a bit. The laugh was no longer as glitchy.

There was a red glow on their faces, making this all ten times more frightening.

"You look like you've seen a ghost princess, are you alright?" Dark chuckled. My head flicked to look at him. For a split second our eyes met before I looked down. They were completely black again. And they terrified me.

"Aww don't look down, those pretty little eyes of yours need to be seen!" Dark smiled, trying to lift my head up by my chin.

Something touched the back of my neck and it felt like I was almost in a trance as I looked up at Dark.

Straight into his eyes. They looked like deep, black, pools of ink. It felt as if I looked at them long enough I would be sucked into them and never be able to climb out. Yet something seemed to hold me in that position.

I felt two arms wrap around my waist from behind. "Just go to sleep, okay princess?" Anti cooed in my ear. "Everything's alright, we'll take care of you."

I felt myself drift off to sleep unconsciously.

I was slightly woken up by a dog barking. Wait that's-

"Shhhhh. It's okay princess, go back to sleep." Dark whispered. The dog barks ceased and it was replaced by quiet whimpers.

"D-Dakota." I mumbled, recognizing the sounds she made. I dozed off again, not realizing I was doing so.

"How did we not know she had a dog?!"

"I don't know! It's obviously a big part of her life so how the hell did we miss it!"

"I don't. Know."

Someone sighed, obviously annoyed.

More dog barking.

"SHUT THE HELL UP!"

The barking is once again replaced by whimpers.

"I swear, that dog is going to have a bullet through its head by noon if it doesn't shut up." Someone muttered.
