I was woken up by my phone ringing. I squinted my eyes looking at the caller ID. Cody.

"Hello?"

'Oh thank god you picked up. We have a buttload of employees here tonight so there isn't a need for you to come in.'

"Oh. Okay, thank you for informing me."

'Have a good night Y/n,"

"Good night Cody." I hung up and sat up on the couch. I stretched and stood up. Dakota stood up and raced towards the stairs. I walked across the living room towards the kitchen. I was curious as to why there were so many employees there today. Maybe you got paired up with Dark or Anti and he really doesn't want you with them...

Naw. He wouldn't. He knows that I can handle it.

I opened a cabinet getting out a glass. I filled it with water and drank it quietly, still half asleep. When I finished I went upstairs and changed into some pajamas before climbing into my bed. Dakota immediately snuggled into my side and fell asleep. I soon gave in and passed out as well.

~Dream POV~

I led the two young men into the garden. After a bit of navigating, the bushes opened up into a clearing. Flowers and bushes surrounded the outside of the opening. In the middle sat a gorgeous fountain. Even with the bit of snow covering the ground the stone structure still had water pouring out of the top. The cobblestone pathway surrounded it in a wide circle. Large Weeping Cherry trees surrounded the clearing draping over the flowers and bushes.

The sound of horse hooves racing up behind me caused me to turn around. My beautiful Golden Palomino gelding, Dollar, skidded to a stop in front of my face. Anti and Dark had stepped to the side. I smiled and stroked his face.

One of our stable hands came soon after. "Please forgive me princess," he begged, "he saw you and took off. I wasn't fast enough to stop him." The man rubbed the back of his arm as I took Dollar's lead rope.

"Was anyone hurt?" I asked still petting Dollar.

"No, ma'am." He looked at the ground.

"Give me your hands." I ordered. The stable hand held out his hands warily. I inspected them finding rug burn on his right hand. I led both the man and Dollar over to the fountain. "Do not lie to me next time. I understand it is nothing major, but I do not wanting you getting the habit of lying about the little things." I sat down on the edge of the fountain pulling the stablehand with me. I wrapped Dollar's lead around my wrist and held his hand palm up. With my free hand I cupped some water and poured it gently onto the rug burn.

I felt him stiffen at the contact but I continued. The water was ice cold so I figured it would get rid of the stinging. Dark and Anti looked around at the landscape but I caught them stealing glances at me every now and then. They glared at the man sitting beside me. They aren't jealous are they? The princes instantly look back to the flowers.

When the man I was helping finally stopped flinching we stood and he took Dollar's lead from me. The stableman bowed slightly to me and the two princes before walking off briskly with my horse following close behind.

I turned back to Dark and Anti. "Sorry about that," I shuffled my foot nervously.

Anti stepped up closer to me gently grabbing my chin and pulling my face up to look at him. "Not a problem, Princess." He glanced at my lips for a moment before leaning in. I shivered slightly thinking he was going to try and kiss me. But instead Anti leaned his forehead on mine. He chuckled quietly and wrapped his arms around my waist. I felt two more join Anti's and someone press up against the back of me.

Dark leaned towards my ear and whispered gently, "Not yet Princess."

~Y/n POV~

I woke up snuggled into my pillows. What the actual hell is going on. Two nights in a row now, not to mention my nap...

I sighed and pulled my blankets up further around my shoulders. I fell back asleep again, not dreaming of anything. When I woke up again it was 11:00 am. I rolled out of bed and went downstairs to let Dakota out to the backyard. I went into the kitchen and made myself a cup of coffee.

Dakota came back in and ate the food I gave her. I stretched still waking up. I turned YouTube on on my TV. After an hour or so I turned it off and went upstairs. I showered and pulled my hair into a braid. I put on a sleeveless gray hoodie and ripped black jeans. I put on makeup and went downstairs and sat down on the couch again.

Dakota came in and dropped her neon green tennis ball in my lap. I smiled. "Let's go play." I stood up and walked out the back door. I stood out in the middle of my yard and threw the ball for Dakota.

----------

After an hour or so of playing, pausing for drinks, and more playing, Dakota looked exhausted. I laughed and carried her inside. She passed out on the couch. I looked at the clock to see I still had another 4 and a half hours before I had to leave.

I woke up from my nap and fixed my hair. I let Dakota out to the backyard and waited for her to finish her business before getting in my truck. I yawned and rubbed my eyes as I pulled out of my driveway.

-----------

I got to my workplace and went through security. After I quickly walked and met up with Cody at the front desk.

"Look what you did you useless piece of shit." Google crossed his arms. On the ground lay a broken computer that used to sit on the desk.

"Dude! Are you serious? How was that MY fault!" Bing countered.

"Just you being here makes all the other technology want to die." Google raised an eyebrow.

"What. Ever." Bing rolled his eyes. I was trying my hardest not to laugh at their conversation. Cody popped up from behind the desk.

"Guys! It's not a problem! I'll just get a repair guy in here!" Cody practically yelled.

"Scan complete." Google said in an extremely monotone voice. "Scan shows that computer is beyond repair." Cody sighed.

I cleared my throat to catch his attention. Cody looked at me and smiled. "Good night Y/n!" He stood up. "Today you're just going to be keeping an eye on Antisepticeye." I smiled.

"Okay. Have.... fun?" I laughed and walked towards the hall with Anti's room in it. I put my keycard ID up to the scanner and the door opened. Immediately the guy who was in there before bolted up and left. I let my eyes follow him as he runs out of the building.

I turn my head back to the room Anti is in. He has his head buried in his knees and is sitting in the corner of his glass box. I walked in and sat down at the desk. As I walked Anti's head shot up. He turned and looked at me smiling.

"I knew I recognized those footsteps!" He stood up and walked closer to the glass. "It feels like it's been forever since the last time I saw you." Anti smiled a bit.

"Hey, Anti." I smiled slightly and turned back to the desk. I propped my head up on my hand and twirled a pencil in the other. I heard a sigh come from the side of me.

"Dark talked to you didn't he." I looked sideways towards Anti. He had his back against the glass with his arms crossed looking at me.

I didn't answer and just continued to twirl the pencil.

"Cody has been extremely nervous about Dark and I. It's no secret. He says we've been 'too calm' the past two days." Anti looked at me the whole time he talked. I moved my head slightly so that I could see him. "But it takes a lot of energy to create dreams. Not to mention the amount of energy it takes to project them."

Anti had gotten my attention this time. I sat up straight and looked at him. He simply smirked in return.

"We aren't exactly Dream Demons." I looked at him in disbelief. Anti's smirk only grew. I looked to the floor. Those sneaky bastards.

Anti chuckled. I looked up at him. "What?"

He smiled. "I probably should have mentioned this earlier but, Dark isn't the only one that can hear what you're thinking." Anti laughed breathlessly. I rolled my eyes and got out a paper to doodle on.

-----------

At 6 am the next guy came in for his shift. I smiled politely and walked out. "Bye, Anti." I called back. I walked out of the hallway and looked towards the desk. On opposite sides of it were Google and Bing. They had their heads hung and looked to be turned off. Google had a green batter thing floating in front of him. I laughed quietly. Do they fight when they are charging too? I walked out the front doors and out to my truck. The early morning air felt amazing on my face. It's always hot in LA so it's a nice change to feel cold.

------------

I yawned as I walked in my garage door. I heard Dakota's collar shake and her little nails click across the floor. I smiled and kneeled down. I rubbed her ears as she licked my face. "How are you Kota." She seemed to smile as I stood up and let her out the back door. I yawned as she came back in. We both walked up the stairs and she got in bed while I took off my makeup and changed into pajamas.

------------

I yawned waking up slowly. Dakota wasn't at my side like usual. I ran my hand through my hair and sat up yawning again. I rolled out of bed and stood up. "Dakota?" I heard the skittering of paws come up the stairs. She poked her head around the corner of my door. I laughed. "You aren't getting into any trouble are you?"

She shook in response. I smiled and we both walked downstairs. I did a quick inspection to make sure she didn't chew up everything before letting her outside. I walked into the kitchen and got her dog food out before pouring it into her bowl and filling her water bowl up. Dakota came back in and I shut the door behind her. I made myself some pancakes and bacon for breakfast. As I ate I noticed Dakota was laying nicely beside me. I smiled and dropped a piece of bacon down to her. She looked up at me surprised. "Go ahead, but don't expect it often."

She happily ate it as I looked around. "Dakota do you want to help me clean today?" She looked up at me before running off. I laughed. "Same here girl. Take me with you!" I laughed and went upstairs. After a shower I went ahead and put on a grey tank top and some blue gray skinny jeans. I did my hair and makeup and debated on putting my gray and white flannel on now or later. I decided not to until I was done cleaning.

---------------

After several hours of cleaning I wiped the sweat off of my forehead. It didn't look much different, but it almost felt different. I yawned looking at the clock. It was about 5:00 so I had a couple hours before I had to go to work. I grabbed my flannel and put it on. I rolled the sleeves up halfway and went out into the backyard. Dakota was already out there because I had figured it would be easier to get things done.

She happily hopped over to me and begged for attention. I smiled and went towards the big willow in the corner of the yard. The people we had hired to do the yard work did an amazing job. The grass was always green and the trees never looked overgrown. There were no weeds to be found in the flower boxes, and the grass felt like carpet when you walked on it. I leaned up against the willow enjoying the cool shade and slight breeze blowing.

Before long I felt myself dozing off.

---------

I woke up at 6:00 and rubbed my eyes. I yawned and stood up. Dakota shook her head and yawned. We walked inside and I made tacos. When I finished I cleaned up and went upstairs to put on my shoes.

---------

When I got to the asylum I went through the regular routine of going through security and meeting up with Cody. No matter how nice Cody seemed to be, something was up. I had felt it as soon as I had driven through the gates.

"So today we are going to put you with someone new. He's not insane, it's just the fact that we can keep an eye on him. He's blind, by the way. Anyway, he's extremely easy to watch unlike what you are used to. He has not killed anyone but he does seem to be extremely controlling." Cody explained as we walked down the hall that we usually take to get to Dark's room.

This time we instead continued walking past. Cody flipped his keycard across the scanner and the door unlocked.

"Y/n. This is Host. Host, this is Y/n." He smiled as he talked to 'Host'. It was extremely weird being in this room though. There was no glass box surrounding the occupant. That's when I noticed him. He sat in the corner of the room on a couch. He had a bloodied white cloth tied around his head covering his eyes.

"We don't have anyone watch him during the day though. At least, not in person. We have a few guys who sit at a desk in the day and watch the patients that don't have much of a record.... Usually we do the same with him at night, but the last few days he hasn't been sleeping very well. He wakes up in the middle of the night. He's never scared. Just a bit shaken up. We found that if you just go up to him and talk to him he calms down and goes back to sleep. Oh and good news! He won't blow up your phone, so you are free to use that around him." Cody smiled.

"If I may ask, why isn't there just a sheet of paper explaining all of this?" Cody laughed at my comment.

"We usually have a paper for the more dangerous ones. And even though Host looks like he could hurt you severely, he's just a big cinnamon roll." Cody smiled before taking in a deep breath. "Well, I'll be off now. Good night y/n." With that he walked out without another word.
