So. Before ANYTHING is said yes I know that Panic! At The Disco has a song called Nicotine, but I felt like it didn't fit as well as the one I have now. So, with that being said, ENJOY!

The day passed rather slowly but finally it was time to go home. Cody came around a corner when your shift ended. "So how'd ya do?" He asked cheerfully.
"We did pretty good I think." I smiled and brushed my hands off on my pants. I had finished Google's settings and I was just now getting done with the test runs.
"Well I'll take care of it from here. Have a nice- morning? I guess?" He laughed a bit as I walked off.
"See ya guys later!" I called. Last night wasn't exactly the most eventful night or even the most interesting, but I did get to know Google's software better. I got in my truck and pulled into my driveway after a bit of driving. I immediately went to my bed after letting Dakota out. I crashed pretty darn fast.
----------
I woke up the next morning and did my usual routine. When Kota and I were done eating I went upstairs to shower and do all that fun shiz. When I was done I put on a baggy light gray sweater and black skinny jeans. To finish it off I put on black combat boots and did my hair in loose curls before heading back downstairs. I had slept in extremely late last night so it was about 3 pm by the time I was done getting ready. I messed around for awhile waiting for the time I would have to leave for work.
------------
I arrived to the asylum right on time and went through security. I walked towards the front desk to meet Cody. Before I could get to him there was a loud bang that came from down the hall. I looked towards the source curiously. After I didn't see anything or anyone come running from the direction I mentally shrugged and continued walking. Cody was currently asking questions to Bing and Google investigating who could answer faster.
"Hello!" I smiled as I got close to the three.
"Ah. Goodnight Y/n! You're right on time! Hm. Let's see. Okay, Google. Pull up the schedule." Cody commanded. A few seconds later there was a schedule in front of Cody. He was scrolling through it looking for something in particular. He stopped suddenly and his eyes widened. "Well, you were supposed to be with Darkiplier, but he's been a bit..." Cody paused before mumbling. "Aggressive. Lately." He turned his attention back to the schedule looking for something else. "Dammit. There's literally no one else I can put you with." Cody continued to mumble as his face fell.
I looked down to the floor rubbing the back of my arm nervously. I don't want to go in there when he's aggressive but I can handle it, right? I don't know. What if something happens? They can hear me if I scream can't they? I have no clue.... I was broken from my thoughts by Cody.
"Well shoot." Cody looked up and sighed. "You're stuck with him. I'm really sorry, we just didn't plan on him getting this aggressive lately. Yesterday he was a bit restless and pacing around tugging at his hair. I have no idea why either. The only other time he's done this is when we first brought him into custody." Cody sighed. "I'm extremely sorry y/n." He looked like he felt extremely guilty.
"It's fine. I'm sure I'll manage." I smiled.
"I'll have Bing come and make rounds around that hall so that if you need anything he's right there." Cody smiled but I could tell it was forced. "Well, let's go then." He sighed before beckoning for me to follow him. "Remember there's a call button in there if you need anything at all. Please please please use it if you need anything."
We made it to the door that led into Darks room. Yelling could be heard from the inside. I caught bits and pieces of the conversation as Cody unlocked the door.
"WELL MAYBE IF YOU STOPPED BEING SUCH A FUCKING-"
"I SWEAR WHEN I GET OUT I'M GONNA-"
"SHUT THE HELL UP ALREADY OR IM GOING TO-"
The door unlocked and Cody pushed it open. The yelling immediately stopped and two heads were turned to face us. I was still standing behind Cody. "Matt you are dismissed." I could feel the man's anger radiating off of him as he pushed past Cody. "And as for you," Cody turned to face Dark, "I expect you to at least calm down a bit." I heard Dark snarl.
"Why the hell are you here anyway. Am I going to have to be stuck with you for the night?" Dark spat.
"No you are not." Cody stepped to the side revealing me. I stiffened up and my heartbeat quickened as I felt Dark's eyes burn into my soul. They were completely black and terrifying. I'd never seen them this color before. As soon as he realized it was me the black instantly washed away.
"I would rather not have to explain her death to her parents so please be nice." Cody sighed.
'Oh I'd never dream of hurting my Princess.' Dark whispered into my thoughts. I ignored him the best I could.
"Be careful," was all Cody said to me as he walked off. I slowly walked into the room and let the door slowly shut behind me. I made my way towards the desk and chair in the corner with my head down. I felt Dark watch my every breath never taking his eyes off of me.
"I've missed you." Dark spoke. I once again ignored him. "Princess...." I looked at the floor. "Will you please at least look at me."
"Cody said you've been aggressive." I paused taking in a shaky breath. "He also said you were extremely restless yesterday." Dark stayed silent. "Why." I looked up at him warily. He smirked.
"Princess 3 days is a long time when you're not here. Quite honestly, I was getting ready to break down this damn glass to find you." Dark never took his eyes off of me the entire time he said this.
I quickly looked down. "Why. That's all I want to know. Why." I slowly looked back up at him.
"When you're near me I don't feel murderous. That's an odd feeling for me." He paused. "You're a drug to me. You make me feel so high, and when it stops," Dark paused once more as if looking for the right words, "I'm at an all time low. Y/n the only other feeling that does that to me is when Anti and I used to go kill people." Dark looked down to the side.
"Y/n I can't live without you. And one day you're going to move on. You'll find a job that won't scare you half to death. And I won't ever see you again. I can't let that happen." Dark looked up. "I will not let that happen." Dark's eyes clouded a terrifying soulless black.
"Princess, you're worse than nicotine."
OMG I LOVE WHERE THIS IS GOING YOU GUYS HAVE NO IDEA HOW HAPPY I AM WITH HOW THIS TURNED OUT!
