Chapter 25 - Sick Of Your Lies.

Chapter 25 - Sick Of Your Lies.

"I asked for the truth. I didn't ask for lies."

~

"I'm sorry. Let me rephrase my sentence. What is it about you that got me so attracted to you?"

The moment his words left his mouth, caused for my eyes to widen. Did he just said he's attracted to me? He shouldn't be, it's not right. He'll only end up getting himself hurt. That much is guaranteed. The cup of tea left remained untouched. The only thing that I would mutter would be, "What?" Jason, noticing my reaction would sigh softly.

"I'm sorry, that was unexpected. I didn't mean to..." He said, apologising, scratching the back of his neck. I waved him off, quietly taking a sip from the drink he'd given me. It was sweet and minty, it reminded me a bit of him. Oh what the heck am I thinking?

Snap out of your thoughts, and pull your act together.

Out of the blue, I cringed, my ears hurting real badly. I covered them with my hands. "What's wrong?!" He shouted. I swore I thought I heard concernment in his voice. Oh well, it must be my imagination! Perhaps...

His question was answered before I could give one myself. "Ding dong, the bitch is back! Where's Bitch? Or should I say Ragnor?! I'm going to beat his ass into the ground! Six feet under!" I could hear Cat yell at the top of her lungs, as I could picture her kicking the doors to the living room open. Which of course, would be typical.

I rubbed my hands into my face, as I'd sigh softly. I looked at Jason with a glare, as I mouthed the following words, "There's your answer!" He stood up slowly from his chair, shooting me a concerned glance every now and then. And I?

I got out of bed. Painfully, may I add.

••••••••••••••••••••

I was fuming! Fuming with rage! How could he? Sure, it was revealed shortly after Ragnor's explanation that he was Drake's brother. I don't know how it was rev- Or it could be, that the psycho fucked up aunt of ours could somehow MAGICALLY have made an appearance in disguise and told us!

And yes, I just called Cynthia fucked up even though my sister and I are a little out of our mind ourselves!

Okay, fine. Scrap being a little out of our minds. Would psychotic do? Anyway, back to business.

Great, just great! I sighed annoyed as I turned around on my heel, facing this... Guy, who told me his name in the middle of nowhere in a god damn park! Like, what the heck?! He could've walked up to me while I was sleeping and raped me! But then again, it's either mine or Cynthia's fault because.. Oh screw it.

To be honest, if I think about it, he has got to have escaped from some sort of mental asylum! Of some sorts! Or something. Because right now he's following me like a lost puppy! "Look! Like I said before, I'll tell you again! And take notes, this is only me being nice! Once! I don't like to repeat myself, and I don't have time for friendly talk mister, so fuck off!"

He opened his mouth to talk, but I didn't give him the time nor the chance to, as I just stormed off. I groaned, in irritation as I could hear his footsteps following me. Instead of walking, I started to run.

Cut it out, okay?!

Getting closer to the mansion, I could feel my blood boil just at the mention of Bitch's real name. How could he?! I guess if it was just the fact he was Drake's brother, and tried making the torture stop, I could've forgiven him.

But no! He kept a lot of things hidden, locked and chained from us. From Mika and I. So much, it hurts thinking about them. I'm sick of his lies! We've trusted him, as he had taken care of us the past years. Does he actually trust us?
When did he plan to open his mouth and tell us the truth?

Never? When we were dead? Or in five years time, when in reality. We couldn't wait another five years! When we have this, this condition! Eating away at us! Until we are nothing but a numb, emotionless, walking corpse.

I'm done! No more second chances, no more forgive and forget. I'm being serious here. Right now! As I neared the front door, I knocked five times loudly as the door was hurriedly open by no one other then our dear maid, Claire.

At the sight of me, her face paled, causing me to chuckle darkly for a second before regaining my composure, I heard Bi-Rag- Whatever the heck his name is! His voice. "What's the matter? Claire?"

I stormed into the hallways, ending up in the center of the living room. "Ding dong, the bitch is back! Where's Bitch? Or should I say Ragnor?! I'm going to beat his ass into the ground! Six feet under!" I yelled at the top of my lungs. The corner of my lip went up at the sight of the man I so wanted to see.

"What the hell is going on?!" He demanded. But before I could snap back with a comment, my jaw (metaphorically meant) dropped. "Sami?! What the hell are you doing here?! I thought I told you to stay with Ari!" What. In. The. World. Did. I. Just. Hear?!? Do they know each other or something?!

If so, how come I or Mika wasn't told of this?

"W-Wait?! You two know each other?!" I yelled, but received no response as those two seemed to ignore me. "Ari is dead. She told me that if she dies, that I were to be sent to you. If I couldn't find you, I'd have to go to Erith, but he's dead." The male, who was called by the name 'Sami' answered.

Ho! What the heck is this? "Murdered?" I heard Ragnor ask; Sami merely nodded in response to his question. "I see. Although, I did expect you to come here at least two years later, and not so soon." Bitch/Ragnor muttered under his breath. "Oi! Oi! Oi! Would-" "Not now Catty!" "Uncle, what am I suppos-" "Uncle?! He's your nephew?!"

"EVERYONE QUIET DOWN!" A female voice boomed throughout the interior room, interrupting our conversation. It was so loud and powerful. I swore I could feel the ground underneath my feet shake. I didn't have to worry much longer about the answer as I could see my dearest sister marching towards us.

"Someone explain to me, why on earth people are yelling in my house! I want an explanation! Now! Before I grab a knife and plunge it into someone's eyeball before shoving it down the person's throat!" I'm a little surprised she didn't notice our guest, to be fair.

Behind her were Jason and Adam, their arms crossed and their eyebrows were raised. They looked at us as if expecting an answer. Wow, twinzies much? "Well?" I could hear Mika say, her voice dangerously low and threatening. Her left hand would be made into a fist. She wasn't afraid to hurt someone, if needed.

From the corner of my eyes, I could see how Ragnor and Sami were close to opening their mouths and talking. Before they could get the chance to, I spoke. "Bitch here, or should I say, Ragnor, didn't tell us that our dear beloved, psychotic fucked up in the head, bitchy adoptive mother was, in fact, our dear beloved aunt."

I said, my voice laced with sarcasm. As I crossed my arms.

Mika's eyes widened at the statement as she breathed in and out deeply. Her eyes threatened to glow a crimson red colour. "Ragnor..." She spat, using his real name. Her words would be laced with venom. "Why the fuck did you hide that from us?" Mika said coldly, growling lowly in annoyance.

He ran a hand through his black locks of hair as he'd sigh, muttering. "Everyone, take a seat." Again with the orders! We're not a pack of dogs for him to order us around! "Fine, we'll take a seat. But we expect an explanation, and answers." She said coldly, shooting Ragnor a hateful glare. The five of us just nodded.

Walking over to the couch, I spoke, "I'm sick of your lies, you'd better tell us the god damn truth or God knows what'll happen next." My voice was loud and clear. I glared at him.

Just when we were about to sit down, someone's mobile phone went off. "Sorry guys. I got to go." I heard the familiar deep voice say as he stood up, brushing the 'dust' off of his trousers as he left, being escorted by one of the maids to the exit. I chuckled, as I caught Mika staring at his retreating figure.

Only for Ragnor to snap her out of it by saying,

"Look, I know I've kept things hidden from you. But know that I only did it for your own good. For a chance to lead a normal life. I guess it's too late to say I just realised everyone, minus a few families, know who you are, your heritage and such. Your lives will never be normal as there will be always someone who hates you."

At his words, I tensed up. It's confusing, and being confused was one of the many things I hated. For me, it was like a moment of vulnerability. Of not being able to understand certain things, certain objects, and certain meanings.

And when the moment comes, that you ask for an explanation. They have the chance to feed you lies. Being lied to, I despised it. Being used, I hated it.

"Oh yeah! I forgot, how's granny Lilian?" Sami asked casually. Almost too casual for my liking as it caused me to nearly choke on my own spit. Lilian? "Lilian? Who's granny Lilian?" Mika asked, her eyes sparked with curiosity. Ragnor sighed as he looked at us, his almost black eyes slowly turning an icy cold blue.

The corner of his lip curled down as he spoke. His voice was different, instead of it being deep, it would be, light? I guess?

"Your great-great grandmother who isn't dead but alive, that's who. Lilian, is."

"WHAT?!?" Mika and I yelled at the same time, our eyes wide as they transformed into a crimson red colour, our fangs threatening to expose themselves as we stared shocked at Ragnor.

••••••••••••••••••••

My phone kept on ringing. Honestly, it was starting to annoy me. Once I made sure I was far away from the mansion, I pulled my phone out from my pocket. Answering the call with a faint, "Hello?" to only hear shuffling sounds, a few seconds later. It was then a familiar feminine raspy voice answered. "Dear.. How are you? How is it going?"

"Fine." I answered, curtly. "That's great.. How is the family?" The same voice asked me. "Fine, if you ask me." I heard a faint pause before the voice spoke again. "You sure? I've heard there's quite the drama because a certain butler couldn't keep his business organized. Which is, quite the shame."

The same voice spoke with the same amount of sarcasm. That reminded me of a brunette I knew quite well. I sighed softly before speaking into the phone once again.

"Just.. I think I'm falling for your great-granddaughter..."
