Mom dropped me off at Juliet's house after breakfast as she had work that morning.

Jermie on the other hand was lucky enough to have neighborhood friends around his age so mom didn't worry about him being far from home at his age.

I feel it for single parents, especially those who have more than one child.

Having to worry about who'd watch your kids when you're away or double, triple etc the amount of everything when it comes to child care is a lot.

Worse yet if they are of different genders. Their friends will be different, clothes, tastes in fashion etc will all be different.

I'd not say that parenting on a whole isn't tough but single parents who go through this are amazing and deserve an award.

My mom is my super hero and thinking about this while alone in the car with her just made me tear up a little.

Yeah I miss my dad after he passed but I still have someone who loves me and cares about me and should not take that for granted.

Turning to watch my mom who was paying much attention to the road, I smiled and wiped away any signs of teary eyes.

When we got to Juliet's house, I breathed out to keep my nerves from acting up as I started feeling nervous.

Yes leaving my mom for a few nights is very nerve wracking well only for my insides.

But started calming down when I saw Juliet come out the house, waiting for me on her house's porch.

"It's going to be okay Jamie, just be careful. I love you",my mom said while kissing my forehead.

"I'll try mom and I love you too", I smiled and came out of the vehicle.

"Take care love, I'll check up on you when I can", she said while driving off.

"Okay mom", I shouted so she could hear me and started walking to the house with my bag on my back.

Wasn't a long walk but I was so amazed at how their flowers were so colourful and trees trimmed so perfectly that it took me awhile to remember to keep walking.

I was snapped out of awe when I heard Juliet laugh at me.

"Come in silly! We'll come out in the garden later", she called to me.

Planning to come outside again no matter what, I decided to follow Juliet inside the house.

And boy was it a ginormous house.
Translation: Biggest house I've ever seen!

Every room was at a bigger scale to those in my house and even Andre's well last time I checked.

I was getting rich people vibes from the house which they were so they did nail their social status on the head.

But who am I to judge, if you have the money why not use it.

I turned my attention away from judging them and focused on Juliet being excited to have someone over to share this experience with.

I've never seen a teenage girl so giddy in my life, especially because of having a visitor to finally be excited with.

She showed me EVERYTHING even things I think I should not have seen but who cares, her parents didn't.

Okay scratch that, they were out so I guess that doesn't count.

By the second floor I was so tired because I was holding a bag full of clothes and other stuff that I couldn't keep up.

"Um Juliet can I rest my bag somewhere please, it's really heavy"

"Oh right, sorry about that",she sheepishly replied and motioned be to follow her.

I thought the yard and house was beautiful but oh boy that room I walked into was like every girls dream room well in my opinion.

This room had everything from the queen sized bed with beautifully designed covers, pillows for days, a walk in closet which to me was a size of a room itself and its own full on bathroom.

These are things I could only dream of having for myself but just being able to experience being in a room and stay in it for more than a day with was good enough.

I was in awe as how well everything was colour coded and the different furniture that were in this room.

"Welcome to my room where our sleepover is being held."

You can tell that she's new to this whole sleepover thing just by this statement.

"Cool! I really love to see your room, it's really spacious and admirable".

"Aw thanks so much, you're the first person to ever say that",she smiled and under her breathe said cause you're the only friend I've ever had farless step foot in this room she sighed but recovered quickly.

I started unpacking my duffle bag and placing my electronics on her wide dresser table which to me looked like an office desk but guess it was the fancy version, very modern.

"This is the furthest I've gotten into practicing my speeches for this occasion so....what do you want to do?"

"Just be normal I'm not here to judge",I chuckled. "We can go outside and then to the pool to hang out".

"Oh yeah I forgot I had a pool guess the excitement took over", we both laughed.

And that's basically how the day went, with us at the pool, eating, drinking and talking about whatever comes to mind as we relax.
