"Hey can I talk to you for a second?"

I turned to see Andre watching me like he was eager to tell me something.

We were both on the lunch line so we decided on talking to each other after as we didn't want others to hear.

"Okay what's up", I asked while seating down at a table.

Juliet was not with me at the time because she was called by one of the teachers so it was just the two of us now.

"So I know I haven't been the best friend you wanted me to be but I really wanted us to start spending more time together"

"I agreed to that long before but doesn't seem that you were interested anymore after 'someone' arrived at school"

He was a bit confused at first but caught on to who I was referring too.

"Alexis is just a friend that wouldn't distract me from being close to you again.... I promise"

"Well I only believe what I see and will be waiting to see what happens next"

That's when I got up, caught on to Juliet and had lunch under a big tree again.

All I could think about is What the hell is going on!

What happened next was way off my radar of suspicions.

Well when he said he wanted us to be close again, I didn't know he meant this close.

Everytime he had the chance he would be at my door waiting for me to answer. Making excuses to our mothers saying that we were either studying or helping each other out with school work.

Obviously it worked because they started to see us getting close again and that was something they thought would never happen again.

They were so excited that they didn't want to ruin anything and gave us all the privacy we needed and sometimes even allowed us to have sleepovers.

Weird?

Not really, because before that's what we did and since we were younger other stuff wasn't on our mind other than sleeping.

But now it was totally different.

We were both teens and knew exactly what feelings were and right now those were starting to creep into our friendship.

This time it wasn't just Andre randomly confessing his love but it started showing more into our friendship without us even acknowledging it.

Until three weeks after he told me that he was willing to be close to me again, we were so infatuated that both of us didn't care what happened next.... well until it happened.

What happened next changed us completely and this was the second thing that happened after finding out about Alexis...which resulted in our downfall.
