Breath in, breath out

Okay let's get the ball rolling....Hey Andre, long time no see!

I started with the conversation trying to make him forget what just happened earlier well that's if he even realized.

"Yeah...I was really busy this week, sorry about that", he tried to convince me while scratching his head.

Normally when boys do this it's either their guilty or really sorry for what they did.
Might be wrong here but someone help me out cause clearly I don't know a clue about guys.

"Oh no that's okay, live your life"

"Np sooo.....about our last meeting I thought we needed to talk about what I said"

"Yes, I strongly agree cause I was in shock and didn't know what to say"

"I figured. So where do you want to begin?"

"Well it was technically your idea to meet up so I thought you had the talking part planned out too but guess I'll start.... when did you finally realized you had feelings for me?"

"Well....tbh it started from the time I saw you in elementary school..."

Bull crap!!! Why is he lying?

"Ummm okay but you now tell me about this, why?"

"Well that's the hard part, to explain. Okay first of all your personality and how you treated me made me feel special. I never had this kind of bond with anyone else..."

"Okay....but why didn't you check up on me while you was away then?", I said cutting him off.

"I know I made some messed up decisions and I really do apologize. I don't know what took over me during that time but like I said before, I never meant to hurt you Jamie!"

"Okay you know what! This back and forth isn't going anywhere so.... on what terms did you think this conversation would've ended?"

"Well I didn't expect you to confess to me as well so I figured we could go back being friends again, maybe even best friends", he replied as if walking on eggshells.

"You know what? It wouldn't hurt to be friends again right?"

"Right! Thanks so much for understanding and giving me another chance. I promise I won't jeopardize this friendship in anyway"

Seemed really eager to go back being friends. Doesn't seem strange to you but it's just weird for me for some reason.

Now although both parties may have agreed on the being friends part wouldn't hurt, there was another party who was hundred percent on the wrong side.
Buy who cares right, you live and you learn.
