Jerome's POV

This definitely didn't go as planned. I pictured it all happening. She would turn around and see the banner, then lay eyes on me and gasp. Every girl in the audience will blush and envy her and she would feel extra special but instead, she passed out. I ruined not only her big day but her parents as well and mine too. I was walking up and down like a mad man. I was going out of my mind to see my fiancé... I mean my girlfriend. The doctors told me that only family could see her. I wanted to be a part of her family more than I wanted to be a part of my own. I really love this girl. God, now am talking to myself. Maybe I really am crazy. Crazy in love with Rebecca. I want her with me all the days of my life, not as my girlfriend but as my wife. Then I could officially have her as mine and mine only.

"Are you Jerome?" A nurse broke off my reverie and I nodded. "She just woke up and asked for you" she told me. I jumped out of my seat immediately and followed the nurse to a room. And there she was, laying on a bed with a needle injected in her wrist. The scent and equipment from the room makes me quiver. I hate hospitals. "How are you darling?" I asked her concernedly. "What do you think? Look at me!'' She shouted a little. I guess she was angry at me. I felt embarrassed. Not only because the nurse could hear us since she didn't leave but because she hated me for wanting to be with her forever. Why the fuck does she has to be so damn ignorant? All the girls fall for me without question but she is way too stubborn. You are angry at me for loving you? I wanted to shout back at her but as you know, guys could never win a fight with a girl. "Am sorry" I simply said. I really hope that scripture meant something which states that a soft answer turneth away wrath. Now am quoting bible scriptures. I should be in an asylum. This girl has really got be hooked up. She sighed. "Just leave" She didn't even look at me. "Fuck!" I punched the wall as I turned to leave. The nurse stood up to argue with me but immediately shut up as I glared at her deviously. I slammed the door on my way out.
