Rebecca's POV

I stood still looking at him in his costume. He was in an all-black suit with a red bow tie and his black mask only showing his glamorous brown eyes, straight button nose and rosy pouty lips. He looked distinguishingly handsome. He was gawking at me while I was gawking at him. "My queen" I heard him whisper and my cheeks burned. He tucked his arm out and I wrapped my arm around it then left the store to the ball.

"Everybody give Mr. and Mrs. Clarke the warm Californian welcome" the MC shouted through the mic. Everyone applauded us. Jerome and Cindy should have been here; I took her place. I was flushed with jealousy and embarrassment. I saw Jerome whispered in the MC's ear then he stared at us confused but said nothing. I took a seat as Jerome went for drinks. I loved the vibe and cuisine. It was exquisite. I have never been to such a modest party before. Imagine how many Cindy will go to when she marries him. I was drowning in jealousy. What was wrong with me? This was business, I can't forget the real reason behind me being here. "Here you go" I took my wine from Jerome. "Enjoying yourself?" He smiled as he took the seat beside me. "Loving it" I smoldered. I seem to have an effect on him since he shifted under my asphyxiating gaze. "Would Rebecca and Jerome please come up to the stage" The same MC ordered and Jerome stood and held out his hand. I held it and he brought us to the stage. I was nervous. My knees were clanking. As we made our way through the crowd of over a hundred people, the applauses increased in volume. I stood on the stage watching Jerome hand me a mic and him taking one too. He winked at me. He did this! Who was I kidding? He was filled with surprises. The song began and luckily I knew the lyrics and had great practice with him earlier. I clapped my hands and he tapped his feet then suddenly everyone headed for the dancefloor and he began "You look at me and girl you take me to another place". Then I picked up "Got me feeling like am flying like am outer space" then he buts in again "Something about your body says come and take me" I got in the mood "Got me begging, got me hoping that this night don't stop!" Then we duet "Bailando! Bailando!" "Te quiero de frio delando piscendo lehando. Sweet mecijando!" "Bailando! Bailando!" We continued and every couple was joined together on the dancefloor dancing away as we made the vibe greater than before. I was having fun singing with him but then he had an important call then left me alone to finish. I was saddened but continued anyways. He finished his call but stayed down in the audience watching me singing and dancing. "I look at you and it feels like paradise" I sang pointing specifically at him. "Got me spinning got me crazy got me hypnotized" I was breathless but sang my heart out since I loved the feeling and he made me feel special as he whistled and cheered for me. "I need your love, I need you closer" I began touching myself sensually and I got more whistles from other men and Jerome was red as a tomato. "Keep me begging, keep me hoping that the night don't stop!" I fixed the mic back in place and headed through the crowd to him. The back-up singers continued for me as I danced with Jerome. I swayed my hips left to right on his body and he followed my every move. He spun me around and around and I screamed in anticipation. The song ended and we were the only ones on the dancefloor.
