"TJ had been missing for months, Jordan's not getting any better, he's getting worse." Luna looked at James, tears in her eyes, not sure on how to help the young man.

    "The last line, do you remember what it was?" Luna nodded, she couldn't forget, it was the line that made Jordan lose his full trust in her, and James. 

   "Yeah, a wound worse than death," She scoffed, "how could I forget?"

    James nodded, "Yeah, think of it. Jordan will be the one to receive it, and it will break him. We just have to be prepared for it." Luna looked at the stars, tears forming in her eyes, making the silver glow in the moon light.

   "How...how do you prepare for someone to mentally break? How do you prepare someone to lose a child, friend, packmate?" 

  James stood up, "I don't know, but we'll figure it out. We have to, he needs us." Luna nodded, standing up, slowly but surely their eyes cleared of tears. 

"Okay, we'll be there to help him. As we are the ones who tricked him into biting them." James looked down, he didn't realize how much he hurt the alpha, no matter how much he loved him, it was his betrayal that led to this line being fulfilled.
