Jordan- Loss

Jordan sat on his bed; he didn't know how to get rid of the hollow feeling in his chest. It was like someone reached in the tour his entire being out of him.

"Jor?" James asked, coming into the room. Jordan looked up, his eyes numb and hollow, no emotion but extreme anguish on his face.

"Oh...Jordan." James whispered softly, "Come on." He coaxed guiding him off the bed, once he got him off the bed, he guided him out of the bedroom. James was holding him up, he felt like he didn't have the strength to walk or stand, it was as if he was dead, in a way he figured he was. 'Pain worse than death. It is complete.' James thought, he didn't know how he was going to survive this, let alone how Jordan was going to survive this.

"Luna, you caused this, you fix this." James said the minute they got into the living room.

Luna turned towards them, "Jordan?" Luna asked, "I was afraid this would happen after the connection ended." Luna said, looking at the broken wolf. "I need everyone but James on that side of the room." She said pointing to the doorway to the kitchen. "And no matter what happens you stay; I deserve whatever happens." Everyone looked skeptical but nodded, moving to the other side of the room.

"Jordan, Jordan?" She asked, trying to get his attention. "Hey." She cooed once she got him to look up. "I need you to shift for me, okay?"

He nodded, his eyes flashing blue. His claws grew, his hair grew longer, his teeth sharpened, what worried everyone was he didn't react, like he couldn't feel pain. Once he was fully transformed, Luna looked him in the eyes, she winced as she saw no emotion in his eyes at all.

"Now, let your wolf take control." Jordan shook his head. "Why not?" Luna asked.

"Stuck." Jordan said, looking down, his voice as hollow as his eyes.

    "He is stuck?"

Jordan nodded, James frowned, his wolf being stuck, explained how he was currently acting in a vegetative state.

Luna guided Jordans eyes to hers, "Hey can you focus, match your breathing to mine?"

James looked at Luna recognition in his eyes. "Wait, I recognize this."

Luna nodded, "You would. You use it every day to calm your wolf down."

James shot up catching everyone's attention, now knowing what to do.

"Close your eyes." James told him, his voice quivering but stable.

  Jordan nodded, closing his eyes.

"Now breathe." Jordan did so, taking deep long breaths. "Good, now imagine your wolf in the forest." Jordan did as James said, his wolf, silver with blue eyes running in a forest of magical trees- looking like he was trying to escape.

He chased his wolf until he found it, in the forest where they both stopped running, was a light brown wolf.

    'What is that?' He asked.

'That was TJ's wolf, that you killed.' His wolf told him, voice numb with hidden pain. Jordan looked at the wolf, and noticed the gold eyes that no longer had the glow; that instead had a mist cover on them, as they no longer held life.

'I didn't mean to kill them; I was just doing what Luna told me to.' Jordan explained to his wolf, tears starting to pool in his eyes.

'Go. Talk to Dracutu, she needs to know what she has done. I will make an appearance later.'

Jordan nodded, closing his eyes, he couldn't believe what has happened. 'It's all her fault. I shouldn't have listened.'

Jordan opened his eyes and looked straight at Luna. He got up and walked towards her, eyes glowing blue and growling, his canines had points and nails grew to an abnormal length.

"Jor?" James asked, knowing this was Jordan was worse than if it was his wolf.

Jordan turned his head and growled out, "Stay where you are Beta!"

James froze, fear in his eyes as he looked behind him. Oliver, Ethan, everyone but Olivia was watching in fear as Jordan was no longer their Jordan. They watched in terror as Jordan ran towards Luna and pushed her against a wall.

"How dare you?!" He pushed his arm against her throat.

"Jordan!" Oliver yelled, not moving forward, "Stop this, now!"

Jordan just growled, not bothering to look behind him.

"She killed TJ! Their wolf is dead! They... they are..." Jordan collapsed crying. "Why did you make me do that?" Jordan asked, crying.

He felt more than just his own pain, his wolf's pain came rushing through him. They were one, he couldn't fight it anymore, his wolf was a part of him. They both felt the pain on this, they both lost the same person. He couldn't believe they were gone. TJ was... gone.

Jordan was still on his knees, his crying only got worse.

   "Their..."

Luna didn't dare move; she knew she had done the opposite of help today.

    "Jordan?" Olivia asked.

Jordan looked up, his eyes hollow, sad and angry.

"Their wolf was on the grass, it was lifeless. He said..."

James looked at Jordan, "What did he say?" He had an idea that this guy Jordan was speaking of was his wolf.

"He said that...they were dead, that TJ's wolf was dead, that I... that I killed them." Jordan turned towards Luna, "You killed them!" Jordan growled, he went to attack Luna but was stopped by James grabbing his arms, holding him back.

"Jordan! Take back control!" James yelled out.

"I am in control. He won't come out!"

James went wide eyed, not knowing what to do now that Jordan has started losing his humanity. His grip started to loosen in shock, but Jordan pulling towards Luna snapped him out of it, and his grip strengthened again.

"Jordan? Are you still you?" James asked, scared to hear the answer.

"Yeah. I am still me, Luna however-" Jordan growled out, trying to lunge again.

"Jordan, I need you to breathe, we need you to breathe. Would TJ want you to kill Luna?"

Oliver watched with anger on his face. 'He is no longer my son; my son died the moment he lunged for Luna.'

Olivia knew what her father was thinking at the moment, she knew Jordan was no longer the Jordan they all knew. The Jordan who would make her pancakes before school, the Jordan who loved to play around in the yard. The Jordan who would hug her when she had a bad day, he was gone and in his replace was this...this-

Olivia wanted to scream; how could Jordan lose who he was in one day.

'How? How does someone lose so much, and still smile?' Teo asked her.

     'I don't know, how?'

'They fake it. They push forwards. The strongest you'll never know are hurting, take James, he hasn't cried once. But-' He stopped, tears forming in his eyes.

Olivia knew what he was saying, she heard it so much from people. The strong you'll never see cry, but the brave, the ones you deem weak, they will break. The strong will shatter when you see the brave fall. This, this was the brave breaking, which meant the strong would shatter soon enough. Olivia looked back towards everyone watching as James fought to hold back the shell of her brother.

"Luna, you need to call Leo. He will know what to do." James said calmly, his voice breathy as he fought to hold back Jordan.

Luna nodded, taking the advantage of Jordan being held back to leave the room. She grabbed her phone on the way outside. As soon as she was on the porch, she started to dial Leo's number.

"Hello, you have reached Leo Aetos. What can I do for you?"

Luna took a shaky deep breath. Her voice quivered as she spoke, "I messed up Lee."

Leo took a heavy sigh, "Luna, what did you do? Is he still human?"

Luna broke into sobs, "He is losing his humanity, their dead."

    Leo huffed, "Who is dead?"

   Luna's cries became louder.

    "TJ. I killed them."

Leo gasped, "Tell me you didn't mistake the connection between them as a bond?"

Luna took a heavy deep breath before continuing, "I did. I made him cut."

Leo breathed in sharply, "I'll be there soon."

Luna looked down, tears rushing faster and faster as her breath quickened. She knew she wasn't the smartest person, but she thought she knew enough.

James and Jordan heard the entire conversation, Jordan looked at James with blank eyes.

"You are planning on locking me up, Beta."

James took a shaky breath, "If we have to, yes."

Jordan glared forwards, his breathing coming out in small spurts before he started to chuckle.

"You think you lock me up. He is just waiting till the right moment to come out you know."

James' eyes widened, he couldn't believe this, how could someone this pure, this innocent become so...knave like.

Olivia took a step forward, "Jordan! You need to stop this!"

Jordan turned towards Olivia, "What are you going to do about, sis?"

     Olivia frowned, "This isn't you."

Jordan chuckled, "It is me. You do remember the last line, right?"

Jeremiah gasped, "Pain worse than death."

Jordan chuckled, "They died, TJ is dead! And you want to know what killed them, because it wasn't the bastard of an Alpha who kidnapped them. It was me, when I cut the connection, I killed them. I saw their wolf, it was pathetic."

Jordan heard a growling noise behind him. He turned around to see James, his eyes glowing and baring his teeth.

"Oh...little wolf, what are you going to do?"

Leo stepped into the room, "Jordan White!"

Jordan turned towards the new voice in the room.

"Leo! The magician. What brings you all the way here?"

Leo took a deep breath, "When she told me you were losing your humanity, I didn't think you were already this far gone."

Jordan laughed, "Oh...so was I just supposed to not crack after everything."

He took a step towards Leo.

"Should I list all the things I have done or went through this past year?"

Leo shook his head, "I already know."

Jordan scoffed, "Do you know that Luna let me turn TJ knowing the last line, Luna convinced me that it was Luca who would lose a wolf. Luna had me cut the connection. Luna was the one who sealed their fate and then killed them."

Leo shook his head he couldn't believe he had to do this.

"All your feelings, what you're thinking, that is your wolf wanting revenge. Want to know who deserves your revenge?"

Jordan perked up at this, "Who?"

James took a deep breath knowing what Leo was doing.

"Luca, Lukas. His pack. Not Luna. Do you know how old Luna is for a Dracutu?"

   Jordan shook his head.

"Luna is still a kid. She is barely your age for a Dracutu, sure in human years she is older than everyone in this room, but...she is 15 in Dracutu years."

Jordan looked down, he could fill an echo of guilt, but he barely registered it.

    "You calm now?" Leo asked.

    "Calmer."

James looked at Jordan, when Jordan met James' eyes he left. James walked out of the room, tear pooling in his eyes.

"You need to talk to them, you hurt a lot of people." Leo told Jordan before leaving.

     "Olivia?" Jordan said.

Olivia looked at him, "You can't keep doing that, hurting others instead of letting yourself feel."

Jordan sat down on the couch, "I know." Jordan looked at his dad. "Dad?"

Oliver shook his head, "You are no son of mine, you are just like the others. A beast."

He left the room, leaving behind a shocked Ethan and a crying Jordan.
