John and I sat by the lake after everyone got to camp, then, after a moment of silence, John asked,
"So, what are we now?"
I definitely didn't know the answer.
"Are we boyfriend and girlfriend?" I asked.
"Do you want to be?" John asked.
"I mean, yeah! Of course! Is that okay with you?"
"Yes! Definitely!" He told me.
Nothing was awkward after that, we talked, got to know each other a little bit. Occasionally, when one person said something, the other would say, "I know" and then blush, feeling like a complete stalker.
After John came back from talking to Percy, he looked a little nervous.
"What happened?" I asked.
"Um," he sighed,"okay, I don't want to lie to my girlfriend" he pointed out.
"No one should"
"Yeah, that's kind of a big thing" I agreed. John sat down in front of me, with myself between his legs.
"My parents are moving us to Australia" he said.
"What?" I asked.
"I know, I didn't ask for this, even before now," he said.
"Okay, so, what do we do here?" I asked, shocked.
"Maybe...this?" He said, and kissed me again. The feeling of him being near me like this was good. I was sad that I would have to let go of that feeling when he moves to Australia. We pulled back, and by then it was time to eat dinner at the pavilion.
