Dan's room was just as Phil has imagined.
The walls were painted in a dark grey colour, so dark if could be mistaken as black.
But most of the walls were covered in various posters.
Some of bands like p!atd and fob and others of anime and tv shows which Dan clearly enjoys.

Phil sat on dan's bed whilst Dan was perched on the edge of his desk chair.
"So what are we going to do then?" Dan asked leaning back and folding his arms.
"I like your room," Phil said completely ignoring dan's question.
Dan looked at Phil as to say didn't you just hear what I said? But Phil just looked around his surroundings.
"You listen to some good bands," Phil stated.
Dan looked up at Phil.
"You like some of them?" Dan asked surprised.
"Yeah well I listen to p!atd and fob but not the rest," Phil said shrugging his shoulders and leaning back slightly.
"What's your favourite album of both of there's?" Dan asked.
"Well that's a hard question," Phil said pausing for some time to think, "I like too weird to live, too rare to die but I just love the song I write sins not tragedies and then for fall out boy save rock n roll is amazing but I also love there new stuff."
Dan nodded and a smile formed his face which made phil's body fill with a warm sensation.
"Yeah! One of the reasons I love p!atd is because all of their albums are so different because that's what Brendon likes to do."
This was the first time Dan had ever shared an interest with somebody.
The first time he has had a rational conversation with someone and agreed with their opinion.
And Phil isn't judging him.
Phil isn't making comments.
Maybe this Phil guy isn't that bad... Dan thought.
Phil was still smiling but dan's smile had quickly faded.
Dan's smiles never last for long.
I guess he did enjoy smiling.
His face just didn't seem to work that way.

"Do you really want to start this project now?" Dan asked looking up to meet phil's light blue eyes.
Phil shrugged his shoulders.
"I don't mind."
"Well you wanna play some video games?" Dan asked as he walked over and showed Phil the stacks of games which were piled up next to his bed.
Phil looked through them all.
Phil looked down at the game he was holding.
"Is this game good I haven't played it before," Phil said as he stared down at the print.
"You have never played halo!" Dan exclaimed.
Phil shook his head and looked up at Dan.
Dan took the game out of phil's hands and walked over to his Xbox.
"We're playing it," Dan said.
Phil sighed.
"Okay," he said with a smile.
Dan passed Phil a controller and they sat down on dan's comfy bed listening to the annoying sound of an Xbox trying to read a disk.

"Dan stop killing me!" Phil moaned.
Dan just laughed as he hit Phil with the gravity hammer sending him flying across the screen.
"Why am I so bad?" Phil said sighing.
Dan laughed again.
Phil looked across at Dan.
This was the first time Phil had seen Dan laugh and it last for more than 2 seconds.
Phil noticed as Dan smiled he had small dimples in the corner of his cheeks formed, and his cheeks crinkled up.
Phil quickly shot his head back round to the screen.
"I am gonna kill you with a sniper!" Dan exclaimed as he kept his eyes focused on the screen.
"No please don't sniper me."
"Nice come back 'please don't sniper me," Dan said teasing Phil.

Phil put his controller on the table and leaned back folding his arms across his chest.
"Oh come on Phil," Dan said placing his controller on his lap and turning to face Phil.
"Don't be a nuisance," Dan teased prodding Phil in the ribs.
"I will only play if you let me win!" Phil exclaimed shaking his head.
Dan sighed.
"Okay then."
Phil turned his head to face Dan.
"Really?"
"Yes," Dan said with a smile.
Phil smiled back at him before picking his controller back up.

Dan ended up letting Phil win.

"What time is it?" Phil asked.
Dan looked over at his alarm clock which was placed on his desk next to his black tv.
"6:24," Dan replied.
"I better get going then," Phil said standing up.
Dan followed Phil down to the front door.
"I had a great time thanks," Phil said with a smile.
Dan smiled down at the floor.
"Bye."
"Bye."
Dan closed the door and wondered back upstairs.

Dan couldn't help being slightly disappointed.
Disappointed that Phil had left.
He had fun!
For the first time in years Dan had laughed, smiled and had had fun.

Dan sighed and sat down on his bed.
"I guess this project is not going to get done anytime soon," Dan muttered to himself before grabbing his phone and sliding his ear phones into his ears.

Hey! I wasn't gonna publish this chapter today but I thought I might as well.
I started reading Eleanor and park yesterday and I can't put the book down! I just stopped reading it so I could post this chapter.
Also just to let you know some important chapters will be coming up soon ;)
