Witchy's Author-Note and Extended Summary

Important information about the story:

Even if it's labelled as 5th book in the series, it can be read independently or alone in the series; or if you read the other books, it can be perfectly enjoyed right after "Loving You is Forbidden", before and/or while reading "Playing by My Rules", or before/while reading "Beyond Those Irresistible Eyes". This is the romantic journey of Viola Taylor and Sergey Lebedev and it will start from some events we encountered at the beginning of "Loving You is Forbidden" for then moving forward.

Actually, I am beginning this book before "Playing by My Rules", for a bit more time to plan everything and get into such complex characters is needed for me. But I believe that soon enough we will also start to read about Adrian and Vincent, let's just be a bit more patient.

You will not necessarily need to read "Fire and Ice" and "Tricks of Love", however it is advisable to read "Loving You is Forbidden", to understand the background of Anatoly. Yet, my advice is to enjoy the full series, forgiving me please the fact that the first two books are not edited and present quite few grammar mistakes, misspelling and errors in contents. On this point, I am currently editing, fixing and somehow improving "Fire and Ice" (adding some parts to offer a deeper insight into the characters and their backgrounds and stories, but NOT changing the story, no worries please) and soon enough I will post the first 10 edited chapters, for then proceeding with the others and so on. The same will be applied to "Tricks of Love", and later on, to "All you need is ME" and "Fallen for an Angel".

Please, do not worry and as usual, trust me: I will not repeat the same exact contents we had in Anatoly's story, of course. However, given how the story sparked and began between Viola and Sergey, it is impossible not to touch some episodes seen in there, intrinsically linked with them, but this time, lived and viewed through two different POVs (our sweet and peculiar Viola, and our abrasive and not quite approachable Sergey). This will also offer us the chance to see aspects and details we missed before for obvious reasons, to see facts from a different angle. After having concentrated on some of those necessary moments, the story will move forward, given new characters are as well presented.

Also, please do not worry about trite and apparent cliché. You know me quite well by now; there might a hint to cliché, for let's be honest, love and falling in love per se are clichés, but there will be a turn and different shade to them. What might look like one will turn out not to be. You will understand what I mean while reading the story. I try my best not to render the books and their contents banal, both for you and for my characters.

This is a romantic, sweet, heart-warming love-story with touches of adorable and bizarre cuteness. Please, refrain from asking a certain type of physical action here, because it would not suit the characters. I think we all came to understand that Viola is an extremely kind girl who definitely would not sit well in a certain type of story. For this reason, the story is not labelled as mature. To each character their own story and telling, this is what I believe.

Yes indeed, this is the first romantic story I write here between a girl and guy, even if it will be followed by the one concerning Anton and Anya from "Fallen for an Angel", story that will have completely different contents and age-rating (it will be a mature book, under many aspects).

The most mature element in this story is the mild swearing offered by our Tolya (who of course will play an important support/co-protagonist role in here) and by Sergey, whose harshness and cutting words we are all already accustomed to.

Thus, this is my WARNING for the story: some occasional swearing and bad words.

Once more, let me remind you some of the characters are Russian and thus, please be aware of the way the names can be changed-shortened:

Sergey --> Seryozha; Anatoly -->Tolya; Dmitri --> Dima; Aleksandr --> Sasha; Darya --> Dasha; and so on. If you have any questions, let me know 😊

Please note that my stories are not professionally edited, and you might find some mistakes, given English is not my native language and given the lack of a professional editor sitting beside me. Please be aware of this while reading them. I do my best while checking each chapter before posting it, but let's be frank: something will slip my attention.

Please also note that the pictures of actors, models and such I used to portray my characters are very and only indicative, as I simply try to find one that I would love to see playing the part in case my novels would ever become a movie or TV series. They are meant to give a visive impact, but not to accurately portray my characters, so feel free to follow my descriptions and create your own imagine in the mind.

The cover you see up there is one of the many versions I created.

Copyright and author's requests:

Be aware that any offensive and rude comment will be deleted, if not reported. Please, let's all keep a kind and respectful attitude towards each other and the work of other people. I am very fortunate with my readers, as you are all extremely respectful, kind, patient, supporting and generous in terms of comments and votes. However, sometimes I encounter new readers on Wattpad who I believe opened an account solely on the purpose of trolling around. This kind of behavior will be reported.

This story is entirely a work of fiction. The names, characters and incidents portrayed in it are the work of the Witchy's (author) imagination.

My novels are all a creation of my own and pure, original imagination; they are fictional, original works and NO part of my stories can copied or posted somewhere else outside Wattpad or on Wattpad without my direct and explicit consent. Please, also refreain from asking about translating my works in another language or writing fanfictions: as flattering as it might be, I am opposed to it, as some other writers are.

My stories are my intellectual property for I am the original and only author. Their rights belong to me only, just as the stories belong to me only. Do not copy them. Stealing ideas, stories and characters is unfair and wrong. Copying a story is not just taking parts of it and place somewhere else, but much more and it hurts the real author. If I think that a work has stolen my ideas on an unfair level, I will look into the matter and take action.

The story and characters belong only to the original author, me, TheWitchAndTheCat.

Personal message from Witchy and her Cat:

My Cat and I honestly hope you, dear readers, will enjoy this fifth (or sixth, up to you) story in the series, falling in love with its sweetness and desire to give a warm feeling wrapping around you. While my other stories had some more conflicted and complex characters at first, don't be misled by the apparent lightness and sweetness of this story. Both Viola and Sergey have their own issues to face, especially our conflicted Sergey, who surely needs to prove his worth and show his "redemption".

No worries, nothing like for Anatoly, obviously, but nonetheless still a very interesting journey in Sergey's character, who slowly became very dear to me. This is why I wanted to explore his story. Not to mention, Viola is an adorable character to write about and she often pops in my head with really funny and cute stories. None of you has ever heard her "voice" or "thoughts", so I hope to delightfully surprise you; to be honest, she did surprise me very much.

I will be looking forward to reading your comments and messages, for I believe that feedbacks are extremely important in order to improve and grow as writer. I sure improved thanks to them and not only because of my love and passion for writing. Please do not worry about leaving many, long comments: I totally love reading them and you know that I tend to create long chapters myself 😊

Please allow me to express a huge and sincere THANK YOU coming directly from my heart to All of You dear readers for being such incredible, supportive, patient, kind, enthusiastic and love-giving readers; I know I said it already many times, but I cannot prevent myself from expressing my genuine gratitude.

The cover was designed by me, hoping it will attract curiosity and interest, and also, that you will like it. It's a first cover and maybe, I'll come up with something else.

I will still include quotes at the beginning of each chapter, because it's my way of sharing what I love to read, but also to give a more special touch to the story, trying to identify the core of each chapter through a selected quote.

I will include a list of characters here already, as you know most of them already. Yet, we will have a few new "faces". I already look forward to reading your comments and questions 😊

Extended Summary:

"I am beginning to learn that it is the sweet, simple things of life which are the real ones after all," by Laura Ingalls Wilder

Sweet, little things being the real ones and most important in life. Never truer words were spoken, and Sergey Lebedev was bound to understand the truth of them soon enough, once he would decide to let go of his coward mask and be honest with himself.

She is sweet and lovely; he is abrasive and harsh. She smiles and giggles like a fairy princess; he sneers and mocks people like a jerk. Her laughter, good-mood and kindness of heart affect everyone and warm you like a mug of hot chocolate with pink marshmallows; his roughness and annoyed glaring, with his caustic words, irk and scare everyone and slap in the face worse than the cold stormy wind. She is bright and pure of heart; he is gloomy and a coward of heart. Apparently.

Until the point Sergey Lebedev must finally confront the person whom he hates the most: himself. He will have to face his resentment for Anatoly Denisov, having to realize if it really is hate and not just anger and envy; the eternal conflicting, strained relationship with his cousin Sasha; the problematic, difficult bond with a very strict father; his own prejudices, and his true feelings for the sweetest and most beautiful girl Sergey has ever met. He knows she needs a real prince, for she is a princess in his eyes, and one day he'll finally decide the time has come to grow up.

Viola Taylor never for once imagined Sergey could be someone she could befriend and be interested in, given his behaviour in school, his hostile attitudes and the way he addresses her: weirdo. Until, due to some circumstances, she sees him outside school, where the sneering mask slowly crumbles away bit after bit, allowing her to discover a completely, surprisingly different Sergey, who can smile at her bizarre stories and help in overcoming her fears and doubts.

A heart-warming, cute, romantic story of love between sweet, innocent yet very intelligent Viola, who believes in fairies and has a heart bigger than her, and the apparently cold and abrasive as sand-paper Sergey, a bully in school in dear need of Viola's magic fairy-dust. An easy journey to their love? No, as there is no effortless journey when you must confront yourself and win over your fears, even if you have wonderful friends and understanding siblings.

Anything to say about this? Stay tuned because in one hour I will post the prologue!

Lots of Love, Magic & Meows,
-TheWitchAndTheCat-
