Memaw was enjoying her stay here, but I know she misses her fans, because for as long as she's been in the country music business, it's her life and it gets rough on her being away from home and on the road, she says she enjoys staying here and spending time with me, but I can see the sadness in her eyes, or maybe my imagination playing with my mind, like always.

Memaw was upstairs playing her guitar and writing stuff down in her notebook, when I knocked in her door as she smiled at me and I smiled back.

"Hey honey, is something wrong?" Memaw said with her voice full of concern

"No, nothing's wrong Memaw". I said

"I can sense when you're trying to hide something". Memaw said as she was right

"Memaw, I just can't help feeling that you want to go back home, it may not be true, but I know it gets busy and hectic around here". I said as Memaw had that "what are you talking about" look on her face

"Analeigha, I do miss home, but I want to be here with you and your mama, it's tough not being home and on the road, but y'all come first and always will". Memaw said

"Maybe it was just my imagination messing with me then, because I can tell when you have had enough". I said as Memaw gave me that look again

"It probably was, but if I wanted to leave, I would, but I'm here". Memaw said

"Okay, but just tell me if we're not spending enough time with you, because I know you don't like to get in the way, but a granddaughter has to have her grandmother". I said

"I will and I don't mind helping, after all, I was the queen of this kingdom at one time". Memaw said as she looked at me and took ahold of my hands and reassured me

"Okay and yes, I know, but being the queen is no piece of cake, I just don't know how you did that and toured at the same time". I said as I wondered

"It was not easy, but I did it, for your mama and everyone else that I know and love". Memaw said as mama walked by

"Mama, if you ever need anything, we are here for you". Mama said

"I know that baby, but trust me you two, I am fine, because I got my babies right were I want them and I am right here where I want to be". Memaw said with a smile that could really light up Broadway

"Memaw, you remember that guy you asked you out last night? before you came to my room to talk to me before we both went to sleep". I said as Memaw smiled as she blushed

"Yes, I do". Memaw said

"What do you think about him?" I said

"He's nice, he has a wonderful sense of humor, his smile is cute, he's got the prettiest blue eyes on a man I have ever seen, and he's so sweet". Memaw said as she smiled really bright as the glow she had on her radiated off of her

"How about me and mama call him and ask him to come here and take you out on a date?" I said as mama smiled at the fact that Memaw will have someone to have fun with, besides us

"Okay, I would not mind that at all, but to tell you the truth, I am scared and nervous". Memaw said as I looked into her pretty blue eyes

"Okay, and listen there is nothing to be scared or nervous about, it's just a date and if you don't like it, then we'll leave you alone". I said

"I want to start dating again, but I don't want to get hurt again". Memaw said as she sat on my bed

"We promise you won't get hurt". I said

"Okay then, go call him". Memaw said
