Me and Alex got over our little fight and made up. Couples do that every once in a while, because marriage is not perfect, you have your ups and downs, fights, and other things, so our marriage is not perfect.

Memaw was in the kitchen making breakfast as me and everyone else walked into the kitchen, as we gathered around the island

"Good morning everyone". Memaw said in bright and cheerful voice

"Morning". We all said

"How did ya'll sleep? Because I slept great!" Memaw said

"Me and John slept fine Mama". Mama said

"Well, Pritchard decided to climb in bed with us again, which did not help my sleeping state at all". Gretchen said

"I kept getting kicked and punched in my sleep". Philip said as Pritchard looked at Memaw

"Good morning baby, why did you keep mommy and daddy up all night?" Memaw asked as she balanced him on her hip as he looked up at her at stuck his fingers in his mouth

"Loretta, are you sure you want to do that?" Gretchen said as Pritchard laid his head down on Memaw's shoulder

"Oh honey, he's fine and I love babies". Memaw said as she swayed him around

"He likes to let go of me sometimes and I was petrified one day, because I thought I was going to drop him". Gretchen said

"Jenny and Analeigha did that so many times and I was afraid to hold Jenny after she was born, until my husband gave her to me, but Analeigha grew up on the ranch, so I always kept her". Memaw said

"Analeigha loved the ranch and her grandparents, so I just let Mama have her on the weekends". Jenny said

"Maybe I should bring the girls and Pritchard down there one weekend". Gretchen said

"I would love that!" Memaw exclaimed

"Me too Loretta!" Gretchen said

"Breakfast is done and I'm gonna feed the baby, if that's alright with you Gretchen?" Memaw asked

"I don't mind at all, he might eat for you". Gretchen said

"Etta, hungry". Pritchard said as he touched his stomach as everyone looked at him

"Aww baby, we're fixin' to eat breakfast". Memaw said as we went into the dining room and she put him in his high chair as we said Grace and started eating

"His first word was daddy". Gretchen said as Philip smiled

"Jenny's first word was mama". Memaw said

"That's because daddy was not around a whole lot". Mama said as it kind of irritated her

"He was there when you said your first word and you took your first steps". Memaw said

"I was surprised that he even showed up for my coronation". Mama said

"Honey, your father loved you and he had to be there". Memaw said

"Really? What about all those times he would leave us for two weeks or more?" Mama said as we all looked at each other

"He said he was sorry for all that he ever did to us". Memaw said

"I know he did, but it still hurts that he came to my graduation, my wedding rehearsal, my wedding almost drunk, and my baby shower and a six pack for presents". Mama said

"That was for the daddy shower, or as he told me". Memaw said

"In my opinion, he was never a good father". Mama said as she got up

"He's the only one you have ever had". Memaw said

"You don't know how bad it was when you were not there. I had to ask the butler to take me to the daddy daughter dance, because my father did not show up and went to go bar hop and womanize, he never did apologize for it". Mama said as her eyes started welling up with tears as daddy grabbed her hand

"Your daddy had his faults". Memaw said

"You were never there for me when I needed you and why are defending that no good, low down, drinking, womanizing, low life, no good husband nor father?" Mama said as Memaw was stunned

"I had to work to support you and that's why I was never there and your father apologized to me, so don't you go and bring up your daddy to me". Memaw said as Pritchard screamed

"Fine". Mama said

"All this commotion is too much for this sweet baby, so you need to forget about what you said and go on about your life". Memaw said

"We will talk about this in the future". Mama said

"Jenny, drop it". Loretta said

"Okay, I will drop it, but I wonder if I was important enough to you or to Daddy?" Mama started crying as she sat down in a chair beside Memaw

"Gretchen, Analeigha, and girls. Can ya'll let me talk to Jenny for a little while?" Memaw said as we got up and walked upstairs

"Yeah, c'mon Pritchard". Jade said as we all went upstairs as we left mama and Memaw down in the dining room

"Mama, I'm sorry about what I said". Mama said as Memaw wiped her tears

"Honey, I know how your father was and yes I called him some of those things you said, but baby you were the reason I stayed with him and the part about me leaving all the time, you don't know how many times I wanted to take you with me". Memaw said

"He always made me feel like I never mattered". Mama said

"If I could go back and do things different, I would, but there is one thing I would NEVER change is having you in my life or my grandbaby". Memaw said

"I could not ask for a better mama than you. I wish I could have went with you all those times you left". Mama said

"I could not ask for a better daughter than you baby and I wish too baby. I would have have homeschooled you". Memaw said

"All my emotions bubbled to the surface and all those years that dad made me miserable just hurt". Mama said

"Well now, you're a grown woman and you can come out on the road with me all you want to". Memaw said

"Are you going back out on the road after you leave?" Mama asked

"You remember when you were little and you came out on stage with me a couple of times?" Memaw asked

"Yes I do". Mama said

"How about me and you record an album together and go on the road?" Memaw said

"I would love that Mama!" Mama said as she hugged Memaw

"I would too baby". Memaw said as she squeezed Mama

"What about Analeigha? She needs time away from here". Mama said

"She can record and go on the road with us too, she was talking about getting away from here for awhile the other day and I believe it would do her some good". Memaw said

"Yes it would! She loves to sing and travel, so this is the perfect opportunity for her". Mama said

"Yes it would be and we can start whenever you want to". Memaw said

"How about tomorrow?" Mama said

"Sounds great to me!" Memaw exclaimed

"Me too Mama". Mama said

"I better go apologize for my breakdown". Mama said as she came upstairs

"Hey Jenny, are you alright?" Gretchen said

"Yeah, I'm fine. I just had Al that built up in me and it wanted to be let out and my mother was not the one I wanted to say that to, but my father is no longer here, but I just want him to know that he hurt me and her both". Mama said

"I don't understand how someone like him to treat you and Loretta like that". Philip said

"My dad was a man who did not care about what anyone thought and he made my mama suffer all those years and now, she's happy, because she will never have to go through that again". Mama said

"I can't believe he would not let her shave her legs, that's just disgusting". Gretchen said

"I don't know why he was against that". Mama said

"Me neither. I shave my legs". Gretchen said

"I do too". Mama said

"Let's get back downstairs to Memaw". I said as we all went back downstairs

"Analeigha, me and your Mama want you to come out on the road with us". Memaw said as I looked at them both

"Oh Memaw, I would love too!" I exclaimed as I hugged her

"I thought we could start working on everything tomorrow". Memaw said

"Okay, sounds great to me!" I exclaimed

"I believe a family tour would be a great idea". I said

"I think it would do us some good". I said

"I believe it will too baby". Mama said

"Breakfast is over". Memaw said as we all finished eating and got everything cleaned up and washed
