Memaw and Mason sat at the chocolate shop and reminiscing about all their good times together

"Did I tell you when Jenny was about six months pregnant, that she made sure that everything had to be perfect?" Memaw said

"No you did not and why? Mason said as Memaw laughed

"She was wanted everything to be good before the baby came and she made sure she got her way". Memaw laughed as Mason smiled

"You're gorgeous, you know that?" Mason said as Memaw smiled as she blushed

"I am not!" Memaw exclaimed

"Yes, you are!" Mason exclaimed back

"I know this is something you are supposed to ask me, but how would you feel about going to Harrington's Royal Annual Ball next Friday night?" Memaw said hoping Mason would say yes

"I would love too!" Mason exclaimed as he fed her a chocolate covered strawberry, which she devoured in minutes

"The theme is 'A Magical Night' Analeigha's idea, of course". Memaw said as Mason laughed

"Sounds wonderful". Mason said

"I am full from dinner and dessert and if I eat one more bite of something, I'm going to regret it later on". Memaw said

"Well, my beautiful queen, let's go". Mason said as he paid for the chocolate they ate and he got Memaw some chocolate covered strawberries for later

""Yes, I will will and would go anywhere with you, my king". Memaw said as she smiled and they walked hand in hand to his vehicle and he opened the door up for her

"You are a really sweet man and a gentleman at that". Memaw said as he kissed her cheek

"Thank you honey and you're a really sweet woman and a really sweet lady at that". Mason said

Mason drove Memaw back to Harrington and he opened her door and helped her out

"Why can't every man be such a gentleman like you?" Memaw said as they walked together hand in hand

"Some men were not raised with morals or got their head straight". Mason said as Memaw smiled

"I had a great time with you honey". Memaw said as she smiled

"I did too honey, most fun than I have had in a long time". Mason said

"Me too, even though I get to have fun with my baby girl and grandbaby and at my concerts, but I had a blast!" Memaw exclaimed and said

"Maybe next time you go out on the road, I could possibly come with you, if I'm not busy, like usual". Mason said

"Maybe you can". Memaw smiled as they reached the kingdom doors

" I hope so". Mason said as as he kissed her cheek and she blushed as Memaw kissed him back, but on the lips

"I told you I may kiss you if the date went well, but it went great". Memaw said as he kissed her back and they broke apart for air

"Yes it most definitely did!" Mason exclaimed as he kissed her cheek again

"I hope we can have the same date again, but next time, I may cook you something". Memaw said

"Oh boy! Loretta's homemade cooking". Mason exclaimed as she smiled and he laughed

"I love how you sound so happy and excited". Memaw said

"I really am". Mason said

"I hate to end this, but I have to get ready for some meetings on Monday, so goodnight my beautiful love". Mason said as he kissed her cheek and she kissed his

"I understand baby. Jenny, me, and Analeigha are planning for the ball, tomorrow and everyday after that, so I will be pretty busy, but goodnight to you too, my handsome love". Memaw said as he walked away, got in his vehicle, and left
