Nerina shivered again as she thought of her kissing the Captain. She could never deny that it felt good… even though she had tried.

A whole day had passed since she had kissed him and the Eternal had even set sail from Pirate Isle… and he hadn’t spoken to her since.

She wondered if it was because she pulled away.

Maybe she had embarrassed him?

She hadn’t meant to do that though. It wasn’t her fault that the rain started to feel like knives cutting her skin.

She sighed, as she was reminded of the knives.

Never had she felt so scared of the rain… it was as if the rain didn’t want her to kiss him.

That thought made her frown. Well. She thought. If that’s the case, I’ll kiss him when I’m inside.

What made things worse though, was the fact that Sam had told everyone that they were fighting.

Now the crew was trying to make them makeup, even though they were never fighting to begin with.

She didn’t blame him though. She would have thought the same thing if she was in his position. Especially because of the sword.

She got up off her bed, deciding that she was brave enough to go see the Captain, but jumped when there was a knock at her door.

Nerina rushed to the door and opened it, smiling when she saw the Captain.

He hesitated before he smiled back. “Were you sleeping?”

Nerina shook her head. “No… actually, I was going to come and see you.”

“Really?”

Nerina nodded as she stepped aside, letting the Captain into her room.

“Why were you going to come see me?” He asked.

Nerina shrugged as she closed to door.

The Captain sat down on her bed without hesitation and then lifted up some clothes.

Nerina raised an eyebrow.

“These are for you.” He said.

Nerina stepped forward and took them from him. “What is it?”

“I thought you would be more comfortable in something like this rather than what you’re wearing right now.”

Nerina held the red dress over her body. It was simple, but looked very comfortable. “Hmm… I like it!”

“Why don’t you try it in?”

Nerina smiled at the Captain. “Well, you’ve got to step outside for a moment then.”

The Captain surprised her by smiling back. “Alright.” He said as he got up and stepped out of the room.

She closed the door and stripped herself naked in a few seconds, then slipped into her new dress in another few seconds.

It fit her perfectly, framing her body nicely and falling to just below her knees. It was the shortest dress she had ever worn, but she assumed it would be comfortable to do pirate things or whatnot in.

The shoulders of the dress were large though, falling down over her upper arms and leaving her shoulders bare.

She liked that, it made her feel cool rather than warm and sweaty.

She ran her fingers through her hair, trying to neaten it a bit before she opened the door and let the Captain back in.

When he saw her, he nodded his approval. “Hmm… It looks rather nice. I got your size right, didn’t I?”

Nerina smiled at him. “Did you get it made?”

“No.” He said. “The lady who sold it to me had a couple of different dresses… this was readymade.”

Nerina nodded. “Well, I love it. Thank you.”

The Captain nodded his head too. “Don’t worry about it.”

They were silent for a moment.

“There’s something I wanted to tell you…” Nerina suddenly said, not thinking.

The Captain looked at her. “What?”

She hesitated but then sighed. “Last night… in the rain… when we were… um… kissing… did the rain hurt at all?”

The Captain raised an eyebrow. “No.”

“That’s why I pulled away… The rain started to hurt me.”

The Captains eyebrow rose higher. “That’s why? It wasn’t because you didn’t like the kiss?”

“I loved it!” Nerina gasped and threw her hand over her mouth, cursing herself for being so foolish.

The Captains lips curved up into a smile, and when they did, Nerina couldn’t help but lick her own. “You did, did you?” He asked her as he walked over to her.

She hesitated, but let him kiss her again.

Aina had become weak again, but this time, she was so frustrated that she was ready to kill any sea creature that stood in her way as she swam down to her father.

Of course, no one dared to stay in her way.

As she swam into her father cave, she felt something strange. The aura that surrounded it had grown stronger… much stronger.

She stopped herself for a moment, trying to figure out what was going on. But suddenly, fear overwhelmed her. What could have happened to her father?

She quickly swam into the cave, feeling the aura grow stronger as she swam closer to her father.

But suddenly, she gasped, stopping quickly in her tracks and threw her hands over her mouth.

Her father was sitting up.

It didn’t even look much like her father though.

He looked younger, much younger. Looking to be only a little bit older than she was.

And he looked angry… very angry.

His eyes were wide open as he glared at his hands. He was sitting cross legged in his bed and just glaring.

His hair had turned from grey to black and all his wrinkles had disappeared. His loose and rough skin had changed as well, now looking extremely tight and smooth.

And he looked stronger… so much stronger.

He looked like a man.

“Father?” Aina called.

He didn’t respond.

She tried again. “Father?”

His head lifted up ever so slightly, and that was enough to make Aina’s heart flutter in happiness.

Her father was awakening.

“Aina.” He suddenly called, startling her.

She turned to him, eyes wide. “Yes, father?”

“I think it’s about time that the world started to fear me again.”

His blue eyes sparkled in a strange way… a way she had never once seen in her whole entire life.

“And I think we should start with this captain.’

She watched him for a moment, mesmerized. But then she smiled. “Yes father.”
