It was not that simple to explain everything in my life , indeed it is complicated.  I stood numb in his chamber when he asked me "still i don't love him " , i was startled for a moment questioning my inner self how much iam pretending infront of him.

If everything was okay , then i would have said yes to him already before and would have kissed him like no tomorrow  before starving for oxygen.

Why god ? Why don't u want us to be together?  Why can't i be with my karan ?
I asked to myself reaching my chamber running after from his room without giving any response to his last question.

HIS POV

She pretends a lot to show me that she never loves me , but the truth is she herself reveals it always through her act .
I know monami, u are choosing your responsibility as a daughter over your love , but i can't let u suffer you life with that nasty enemy of mine .

I will find out the reason you are hiding  from me monami, and i will set u free from all your obligations.

Before that i should keep an eye on that jerk prince groom of her , he would be planning something big to make us apart,  and i won't let him play in my life by hook or crook.

At night

Abhidev's POV

Its just that im not simply letting it go as it is , i have many plans in my mind to destroy karan . He is comming closer to monami day by day , and she never gives any heed to me even in our rituals together.  She keeps me away from her ,but i haven't seen her stopping him from anything.

All these thoughts were killing me from inside , i want monami and i will destroy karan,  i said to myself while taking the 11'th glass of alcohol if im right .

This heels my pain , i want to drink more to get some courage to face that karan .

"There is a news for u prince " reported my personal attendee for which i nodded in my half sense to continue.

"Prince,  today our spies have noticed princess monami sneaking into Prince Karan's chamber and came out from there after long time " he said stammering.

Bloody hell !!! Why Why why,  What u find in him more than me monami,  i roared throwing the glass of drink in my hand. This is not right you have done,  i will not spare you for doing this with me.

You are going to be mine and only i have the right to touch you monami .

Wait and see karan , how will i show my right on her , i will claim her as mine before karan would take her away from me.

You are mine , i said repeating the words while balancing my body to walk towards her chamber without anyone's notice.  I will show u Monami,  im far better than karan and i can make u happy in all means .

" Just leave away from here " i ordered the guards infront of her chamber, and opened the door slowly to see her sleeping in her bed . How beautiful you are monami,  i waited for these many years to get you , but u still likes that enemy of mine , i said looking at her beautiful figure sleeping infront of my eyes.

"I will make you mine , we will become one in this night. You will be mine then ..Hahaa..Poor karan , he will lose you infront of me " i said bending down to see her face closer.

HER POV

I sensed some unknown presence near me, and the nasty smell of alcohol made my lashes to open in a hurry to get shocked.

"Abhidev " i shouted seeing him near my bed leaning closer to my face , i sit up from the bed in a sudden move to push him away from me.

"Monami,  sshhhh . Please don't be afraid. Wait.  Why  are u afraid of me comming close to u " he asked balancing himself in the side table , trying to stand.

I was hell scared of his appearance and more than that i realised he is drunk .

"You are drunk " i said looking disgusted at him .

"That's why i came her to see you monami, we are going to get married soon , don't u think we need to spend some time together " he said comming close to me , and i took steps backward to get my sword placed on the wall .

"What u are doing is wrong,  u cannot come into my chamber without my permission and we can't be together like this before our marriage " i said distracting his eyes from my hand movement.

"Oho monami,  u never keep this rules when you are with karan , what's so special in him ? Did he give you any special treatment that i forget to give u , if u don't mind i can show u how much i can satisfy u now itself " he smirked comming close to me ,and that was enough for me to take my sword from the wall and kept on his throat .

"I think u never heard of how much im expert in chopping  the head of my enemies before they think twice " i said looking at his eyes and he gulped in fear holding his breath .

"Don't u dare come close to me u jerk " i warned him before pushing him on the floor .

"Hahahaha" he started laughing evily that made my nerves to scare a little.

"Do u think that, u can stop me from touching you with this bloody sword of yours " he said before throwing a wooden piece on my legs , i fell down in the sudden hit and the sword fell off from my hands .

"You are a girl, u cannot resist me till i want u " he said dangerously looking at me fallen in the floor devastated.

"And u will face the worst of mine if so " i roared at him , but he never listened to my words and starts comming closer to me , i was finding something on my side to break his bones down right now .

He was about to touch my face , but i saw him thrown in air in next second.

He was beaten black and blue before i rub my eyes to see what is exactly happening there .

"Karan" i said his name out of relief,  as i saw him in his worst mode to kill this jerk.

Abhidev was not able to resist karan's hard punch and was trying hard to balance himself on his feet.

"How dare u to touch her " i heard karan screaming at him while beating him , i have never seen him this angry even in his hard times.  I stood frozen at the moment to realise the huge mistake of my life i have taken.

How could i chose this characterless cheap person as my life partner even in my dreams, i never knew he will behave this cheap with me .

"Monami" i heard the soft voice of him making me out of my thoughts.

I stood looking at his eyes , i never know how would i justify my blunder infront of him now .

I was shattered with all this , all i want is him , his warmth that can console me even with a touch.

"Karan , im sorry " i said breaking myself infront of him , but he held me close to his chest before me falling down .

"Shhsshh..everything is okay,  no one will dare to touch u still im alive " he said pulling me to another tight hug and we stood there feelings each others heart beat.

"Monami" i was jerked from his hug from the sudden voice echoed in my room .

"Father" i muttered seeing him with red blood eyes looking at us , along with the royal officials of ours .

We parted away from each other and i ran towards him to explain myself.

"Father , abhidev " i was stopped in middle when he showed his hands to stop me ,while i stood helpless.

"Im sorry monami, im the worst father in this world to make his daughter's life taken for demand , and im the worst selfish father ever " he said looking down not able to meet my eyes.

"Father, please don't embarrass me by asking sorry infront of me " i said taking his hands in mine .

"Thank you karan,  for opening my eyes at the right time " he said looking at karan , and i stood confused in their talk .

"Father, i didn't get u , karan said what " i asked looking at both of them .

"Monami, i never knew that it was Abhidev's trap to make me believe in his false concern.  I was quit unsecured  about the safety of our state , and he used it in the right time to demand for u .

I forced you indirectly to say yes to this marriage without thinking about your heart monami, that was the worst a father could ever do to his daughter.

Karan met me today after the ceremony,  and , he asked me the reason for behind you to say yes to this alliance.  Later it was him who showed me proofs of Abhidev and his history.

I was quit late to know about  it daughter that he is a womanizer,  and he just pulled out all this drama to get u , only u " father said , his eyes are welles up .

I was shocked to learn the truth about this bastard,  i turned to look at karan , who was smiling at me ensuring me everything is okay through his eyes.

"Father" i was not able to stop myself from hugging him and cry out my heart .
He embraced me in his arms and kissed on my head,  i felt blessed to get him as my father.

"From now on , i will not force you live your life against your will my dear " he said wiping my tears and i smiled from my heart after a decade i thought.

"Thank you karan,thank you for saving my daughter and our pride from getting ruined by this animal " father said looking at karan , and i looked at him through corner of my eyes , proud of my boy as always.

"Send him back to his kingdome, with all formalities so that the people of his place realise the true face of their future king " orderd karan to the guards pointing Abhidev unconscious on the floor.

"How u knew that,  im going to be attacked " i asked at karan formally infront of father and others.

"I have already kept an eye on him always monami, i knew he would do anything to get u . So i kept my personal guards to keep an eye on your chamber, and they informed me in the right time.
I was talking with your father about him ,all of a sudden the news made both of us chocked " he said .

Next day morning

HER POV continue. ....

How could someone's life change all over a night , i don't know how to thank god for bringing karan in my life .

"Someone is so happy today " i heard vani giggling at me

"Yes iam, afterall im free of from the forced marriage " i said hiding my blush.

"Not really,  you are happy for some other reason " she started teasing me.

"I think i should now confess it to karan, afterall i have no restrictions in my life to hide it right now " i said excited.

"Vani, im tensed,  i don't know how to start the conversation.  I will  get blank  infront of him completely,  u have to help me practice " i said embarrassed looking at her .

After a long practice section, i composed myself ready to meet karan .

I looked at mirror once more before leaving the chamber and made sure that im looking perfect.  Im comming karan , i want to tell u how much i love u .

I took long steps to reach his chamber  but stopped in middle seeing him in the royal darbaar along with father,  i stood in my way confused of what is he doing here right now.

I took slow step towards them and stood in the middle listening there conversation.

"Good morning daughter, see Karan is leaving Rajgarh " said father that made my world shattered infront of me in the moment,  i stood there frozen looking at him .
