Its been a week monami left Mewar.
I never knew that i will miss her badly one day that can even steal my sleep , i thought sitting on my bed .

"Karan, what bothers you son ?" Asked maa entering my chamber

"Nothing  maa, there is nothing to point in that case. Im okay " i said with a smile

"Never that u think of lying infront your mother,  i have been watching u losing your charm, u have been roaming in the night without any sleep.  What does this all mean by karan ? " Maa asked sitting beside me.

I couldn't hold any more infront of her , the most vulnerable state of mine came out when i rested my head on her lap , my favourite place to find calm.

"You can tell me if u wish " said maa running her hands through my hair.

"Maa i just feel like i have done something wrong , and i need to fix it at any cost " i said in her laps.

"I didn't get u my son " she asked confused

"Maa its like im on fixing up Something  in my mind and i have been trying to prove myself right for some days.
Since monami left me , i mean us , i have been started thinking about everything from the start . I really know that i missed something in between.
Maa i really believe that monami is innocent in that accusation , and someone else is playing behind all this " i said  determined .

"Im so happy that atleast u agree that monami is innocent and she is not that bad as u consider " maa said with a smile on her face

"She taught me many  things maa, i have always been living with an attitude that i can achieve anything by the means of power, but she showed me that a ruler should always be concerned about the other one instead of thinking about ourselves.  And she sacrificed her happiness even for her people. Her power was her strength to face me " i said thinking about her beautiful face in my mind

"Do u miss her " maa asked in sudden

"Well i can't lie to u , i do miss her maa " i said sitting straight beside her

"Even all of us miss her , i always wanted her to be with me , but god had some other plans i think " maa said in disappointment

"Maa what do u mean " i asked curious

"Nothing son, i just said my worry " maa said before leaving my chamber.

HER POV

Yes i do miss him , how will i stop myself from his thoughts i don't know.

Karan you are the only one who made my heart beat fast as i couldn't imagine.

My thoughts were broken by the entry of father into my chamber

"Monami, i need to talk to u " said him with some enthusiasm

I stood there silent for him to continue

" As yourvfather im always worried about  your safety and your wellbeing. I couldn't afford to lose you once more at any cost monami " he said with a pale face.

"I still have no trust on that yuvraj of Mewar who took you from me last time and i don't want any trouble in my daughter's life again " he added.

"Father, i think u forget that im not someone whom anyone can claim. You taught me all the weapons and marshels to defend and protect myself and my people." I said taking his hands in mine.

"And karan is not that bad as u think,  he will not do anything with us ever again " i added

"Please don't say his name from your mouth dear,  i just got u back safe from his hell in the right time " said him with disgust.

I don't know i didn't liked him calling the word hell about karan's place.

"So i have taken a decision " he said looking at my eyes

"What decision " i asked nervous

"Im planning to conduct your marriage as soon as possible " he said in a go and my heart stopped beating for a moment

"Father, do u really think that u want to send me away from u " i asked shocked

"I have to die happily after seeing my daughter safe in someone's hands , that's what i want monami.  I hope u will understand your father " he said pleasing me

I was taken aback by his words. Marriage !!!  I have pledged to save my country, and where from this comes in .

"How will i marry someone i never knew " i asked father in return

"Its the beauty of marriage dear, u have to trust me for that. I will find the perfect partner who can take up your responsibility as well as our kingdom " he said with determination.

"Im not ready for any marriage father, i need to do more training for my archery section and have to complete many things for our people" i said boldly

"If u are adamant to your decision,  then as your father i would have to force you for the first time to make u agree with the marriage " he said that shocked me to the core.

"U cant make me agree father " i said trying to control my tears.

"U will daughter,  because i know u love your father " he said with a faint smile and left.

I stood there broken with all that happening in my life that i never wished .

HIS POV

I was standing in the secret chamber of our defense section , while my spy agents  came to report me.

"Your highness, we have caught this men from our borders . They have confessed that they are from Suryagarh " they said holding the men tied in ropes.

"So i was right , all this is linked with suryagarh. Now that i have to make sure that how is chitra linked to all this . If my suspicions are right , then i will catch her red handed " i said with anger raising inside me

Next day 

Announce the Royal court , i ordered

Everyone gathered there , i took my position and smirked at chitra who is sitting unaware of all that gonna happen.

"Welcome to my court everyone,  i need all your attention to my army general " i said pointing towards Indrajit to start .

"Today we have gathered to punish the real culprit behind the attack that happened in our palace  . Soldiers bring him " ordered Indrajit .

I looked at chitra who is trying hard to controll her sweat and sitting cool in her chair.

The soldiers brought sultan to the centre

"Sultan,  you will be free from your imprisonment if u say the name of the real culprit " i stated that made her shiver out of fear.

"Its Princes Chitrangatha and her father who asked me to attack your palace and make my trade possible with hind in return " he confessed that made everyone shocked except me and indrajit.

"What are u saying sultan,  dont try to drag my name into this " shouted a shaken chitra out of fear.

"Voice down u lady " i said harshly that made her shut

"Karan, how will i cheat on u ? He is lying to u . Kill him at the moment as his punishment " she said walking to the centre.

"How much u will act chitra , u are already exposed " i said walking near her

She started her crocodile tears to please me

"Do u think that im a fool to believe in your tears. How dare u to backstab me " i growled that made her jerk in fear

"Im not the one, that bitch monami is behind all this " she shouted that made me fist my hands in anger

"Don't u dare say her name from your disgusting mouth u bitch " i said pointing my fingers at her.

"U have underestimated monami badly chitra. She has given me all the proofs against u before leaving the palace and i handed over it to karan at the right time " said indrajit that made her stood numb.

"What proof u have against me " she asked nervous

"U have missed some important points somewhere and monami was brave enough to catch your weak points .
She found the official seal of Suryagarh in the papers that u made to handover to sultan . She collected your bracelet from the prison that u lost when u went to threaten sultan in the jail.
She also asked indrajit to keep an eye on our border with Suryagarh to find any movement of intruders, and my luck we got your men at the borders. " i explained that made her accept her defeat infront of everyone

"Yes i did all this . I will finish u and your kingdom.  We nee the power and will get it from u at any cost " Finally she confessed her crime in the royal court.

"I never thought that my own brother and his daughter will do this with me " said maa slapping her hard

"You will pay for this u disgusting lady " maa added that made her eyes turn red

"Soldiers , make our force ready to attack Suryagarh and bring the king down " i ordered infront of the court.

"Take this girl from my sight ,put her in lockup " i made the court order to punish her infront of the people.

"Karan, do u think that u have won . Hahahaa..." She started laughing evily

"Listen this then  , we can do anything to u if we have manged to kill your father without leaving any proof to find " she said smirking at me .

Her words made me stand frozen at my place,  did they kiled my father ?

"Your father was our first aim to finish.  We used his journey to Rajgarh as an opportunity and executed it clean. But u poured water on our plans by taking the incharge of the kingdom . So its your turn next " she continued.

I was not able to control myself from choping her head down , took my sword and rushed to finish her at the moment,  but a hand stopped me from doing so

"Maa, leave me i need to kill her right now " i said gritting my teeth

"No son , u can't swing your sword against an armless lady , no matter who she is " maa said controlling her tears.

I left the sword drop down to hug my mother who is shocked with all this revelation infront of her.

Soldiers took her away from my sight and i stood broken there with maa

I did a sin by accusing monami's father as the reason behind our fathers demise.

I did a sin by attacking their state and stealing their happiness with me.

"How will i overcome my mistake maa " i asked with broken voice

"Sometimes we becomes blind in the verge of revenge my son . Thats what u did with them before thinking twice " maa said holding me

"But all this regrets, how long i will live with it " i asked in return

"You have already corrected your mistake by sending monami safe to her father " said maa consoling me

How will i ask u for apology monami, will u ever forgive me?   im really really sorry for my mistakes , i stood with a broken heart infront of the court.
