Katherine and Jack spent maybe almost 3 hours in the delivery room with just their son. Not caring if their family outside wanted to see him.

They took turns holding him and gently rocking him. He began to cry moments after he was born and it seemed as if Katherine knew exactly what to do.

She lowered her dress and feed their son as Jack held her from the side. He used to see his wife's breast as his but now they were for their son and he had no problems with that.

He finished and she gently burped the baby, Jack putting her dress back over herself.

There was a knock at the door and jack kissed his wife and son then walked to open it.

His mother and father in law stood outside "can we meet the baby?" His mother asked eyes full of hope.

He smiled and brought them in. They saw Katherine holding a little blue bundle with a blue cap over his head. "Daddy" she said softly as Joseph walked to her "this is your grandson Atticus Joseph Alexander Pulitzer Larkin Kelly" she told him handing him his grandchild.

Pulitzer held the baby in his arms and smiled, bright blue eyes shot open and looked at his grandfather for the first time "oh dear, he's beautiful" her father cooed "he must get that from his mother eh?" He said.

Katherine and jack laughed and then Jack gently grabbed his son "Mom" he said to his mother "this is your grandson Atticus Joesph Alexander Pulitzer Larkin Kelly" he said.

Medda held the baby boy and felt like she was holding jack for the first time. Black tufts of hair was poking out of his hat and big blue eyes stared back at her. "He has your father's eyes" she smiled "and he has your eyes as well then huh?" She looked at jack.

"How is he?" Joseph asked Jack as Katherine laid down with medda sitting next to her, Atticus in Medda's arms.

"He's great, he's so beautiful" Jack said.

"And Katherine?" Joseph asked.

"She's so amazing" he said "I can't believe that she gave birth to him. The future King"

"No Jack... you're the future king" Pulitzer reminded him.

"What-"

"I've giving up the crown next week... I was going to tell you both of breakfast but we had a much bigger and better announcement"

"Joseph-" Jack began, he was still to be king for maybe another 5 years.

"Hannah and I want to settle down in a lovely villa just maybe an hour or so away from here" he explained "she wants a raunch".

Jack and Katherine were back in their own apartments, their son was in his crib resting with the soft sound of the television playing.

Katherine was showering and Jack was taking a light nap. He couldn't really sleep though. Katherine and he would be king and Queen soon...

She came out in her pajamas and went to lay on their bed next to him, snuggling into her husband's side. "Jack" she whispered "I love you"
