-Your Pov-

After Weiss has finished crying, you pull out a seat for her. She sits down, and you pull out a chair across from her. You reach out, and grab her hands. Giving it a soft squeeze, she manages to give you a small smile. She lets go of one hand, and then goes to wipe a small tear from her eyes. " I'm sorry about that," you tell her. " I didn't mean to lose my temper like that."

" It's okay," she says, in a soft voice on the verge of giving out. " I just...I just wish he wasn't so difficult. For all his difficulties, I wish he and I could be a normal family. I wish we could have what Yang and John have, where they can meet each other's families, and it will be normal."

" I met Winter," you point out. " And, I mean we're going to be huntsman Weiss. We were never exactly going to be a perfectly normal couple." Weiss sniffles, and you wonder if that was the wrong thing to say.

" I just wish my family was normal," she says painfully. " I wish my father would threaten you, in an endearing way rather than an actual one. I wish we could have family dinners, and then you could one day get his blessing to marry me."

Snapping, your fingers, you know what you can say that will make this better. " I have met your family, and they're great." She looks at you confused. "I met your older sister Winter. She's the best."

" Yes I suppose she is," Weiss manages to say, still sad, but getting happier. " But the rest of my family? They'd be impossible for you to meet at all, much less have positive interactions with as my partner."

" Are you kidding me," you ask. " They're awesome. Your little sister Ruby? She's great. And then Yang and Blake? I love them, and they love you. They care so much about you, that it warms my heart."

Weiss looks at you confused, but you shrug and make one final push. " Family is what you make of it," you tell her. " Blood just makes us relatives. But, who we chose is our family. Your team is yours right? Your team and Winter. That's a great family."

She manages to give you a smile, and you can tell she's almost convinced. " Well, what about you? You told me once that your dad didn't like the Schnee family. I won't be able to meet him, and anything like that."

You give a shrug. " Sure, he does. But, I think I can get him to come around since you make me happy. My mom? She loves you. And then the rest of my family? My two older brothers John and Gideon? They're awesome, and love you, and the idea that you and I are together. And my older sister Leliana, she's amazing."

This makes Weiss smile, and she stands up. " Thank you (y/n)," she murmurs. " I really appreciate this." You smile, and then pull her in for a hug. She holds onto you, before pulling away, smiling again.

" It's nothing Weiss Cream," you tell her. " I am always going to be here for you. No matter what happens, you can count on me. I will always be here for you."

" I love you (y/n)," she says. " And I'm glad you aren't going anywhere. I'm so glad you're with me. I love you so much."

" I love you too Weiss," you tell her. " Hey, speaking of family. Since we're here, do you want to call my family? I haven't told them you and I are together yet. My mom would love to talk with you again."

Weiss nods, and gives a big smile. " Of course," she says, and then she reaches over and calls your family home. You look at her confused, and surprised she remembered the number. " Of course I remembered it. So many times I considered calling you, only to lose my nerve."

Eventually, your mother comes up on the screen, and smiles when she sees the two of you. " Hey (y/n)," she says. " I wasn't expecting you to call. If I knew you were going to, I would have made sure your father was with me. He's out training right now."

" Oh okay," you say. " I figured I would call, since Weiss and I were in the tower anyways. How are you mom?" She smiles, and says she's doing fine, before turning to Weiss.

" Weiss? So good to see you again," says (mother's name.) " How are you?" Weiss smiles, and then waves.

" Hey Ms. (l/n)," she says. " It's good to see you again also."

Your mother waves her hands. " Oh please, call me (mother's first name.) You were my son's best friend, and meant a lot to him. He never stopped missing you." Weiss smiles, and reaches over and grabs your arm.

" I never stopped missing him either," Weiss admits. " But, I wanted to tell you something. I'm a little more than his best friend now. He and I are together." Your mothers eyes widen and she gets really happy.

" I knew it! I knew it! Oh, I'm sorry," she says when she takes a breath. " I just knew he had feelings for you, even back then when you guys were kids. He always asked me for advice on what he could do, and he was so sweet and cute around you. I knew you would end up with him one day."

Weiss smiles, but gets a little sad. " Really? You don't care about the reputation my family has, or anything like that," she asks, and your mother is quick to assure her.

" Sweetie, my son's face would light up whenever he talked about you," says your mom. " And he stayed up all night texting you. I can tell right now, that he loves you so much. It wouldn't matter to me if your family was literally destroying the world. You are making my son so happy."

Weiss wipes a happy tear from her eyes, and the three of you talk, and then she has to go. Turning to Weiss, she beams at you. " I know your doubles match is tomorrow," you tell her. " And my team still needs to pick who goes on to doubles. But, do you wanna have dinner with all of us?"

She nods, and kisses you. " And hey," she says. " Like you said, you can meet the rest of my sisters," she says. " And I can meet your siblings."

You smile as Weiss goes on ahead, happy you were able to make her happy.
