-Your Pov-

Waking up, you try and sit up. However, you feel a pair of arms around you, and you look over to see Weiss. Her hair falls in her face, and she's curled up into a ball. Her arms hold onto you, and she makes soft snoring sounds. Chuckling, you lay back down in the bed. Turning to face her, you wrap your arms back around here, and lie for a little bit. Soon, the warmth from her puts you to sleep again.

You only wake up an hour later when the door opens. Looking up, you see Gideon walk in, and close the door behind him. " Hey guys," he says, waking up the team. " Not to ruin whatever you have going on here, but we have to go and pick the mission we want to go on."

This time, when you sit up, Weiss lets go of you. You smile at her, and she returns it. As you get out of bed, she follows. " Weiss," asks a familiar voice. Turning to the source, you see Yang get out of John's bed, wearing a pair of his sweatpants and one of his shirts. " What are you doing here," she asks.

Weiss flushes. " I could ask you the same question," she protests. " But, for your information, (y/n) and I came back here and just cuddled. Nothing inappropriate happened between us. What about you two?"

Yang smirks, and then begins to fix her hair. " I just crashed her with John last night. Nothing happened between us, same as you. I just showered here, and forgot my pajamas, so he gave me some of his clothes."

At the conversation, Leliana sits up in her bed and smirks. Juane isn't with her luckily. " Am I the only one who didn't have a sleep over last night," she asks teasingly as she gets up. " Gideon, where have you been?"

" Yeah, first of all, I didn't have a 'sleep-over," he says, making air quotes. " The rest of team CFVY would beaten me up. I was just getting back from a morning run. That's all. Now we need to actually go and pick a mission."

Weiss stands up, and gives you a kiss on the cheek. She walks over to Yang who finishes talking with John. The two of them go to leave, after wishing you luck on your mission. After you get dressed, the four of you head down to pick a mission, but to no avail. All of them you want are already taken, or locked by something in the administrative program. Ozpin sees the four of you struggling, and then walks over.

" Ah, ( team name.) I actually had a mission in mind for you to go on." The four of you look up at him in confusion, and he scrolls through the mission list until settling on the one he wants. " Team RWBY has taken an interest in this mission. They are being shadowed by an amazingly capable huntsman, but they might need some extra help. Perhaps you would be interested in assisting?"

Nodding, he presses a series of buttons to allow your team access to the mission. " There you go," he says. " If the four of you hurry, you can make it to their Bullhead before it departs. But please gentlemen," he says, turning to you and John. " Do keep this mission professional."

You ask him what that's supposed to mean, and he chuckles before turning away. " If you don't want it to show up in the mission report, then don't do it," he says, as he walks off. Rolling your eyes, the four of you haul it, and barely manage to get on the Bullhead before it takes off. Doctor Oobleck explains to Team RWBY that they will be helped by you on the mission.

When the Bullhead takes off, your stomach churns. You groan, and clutch it. Like always, vehicles make you motion sick. Normally, you take medicine for it in advance, but you had no idea you would be in a moving vehicle today. Weiss smiles, and sits down. She pats her lap, and you lie down. Gently, she places your head in her lab, and begins to stroke your hair. Even though your stomach is still in pain, your proximity to Weiss makes you feel slightly better.

Oobleck goes to talk with the pilot about something, and Gideon turns to Team RWBY. " So, I take it this mission wasn't just to punch some Grimm in the face. Ozpin saw fit to put two teams on it, so what's the real play here?"

Ruby tries to come up with an excuse, until Blake reaches out for her. " It's okay Ruby. We can trust them." The two of them look at each other for awhile before Ruby nods, and turns back to Gideon and the rest of your team.

" For awhile, we've been doing investigations into the White Fang," she admits. " It's why we've rushed out at night from time to time, and if we seem tired in class, it's probably because of that. The city where this mission is is close to some old White Fang bases."

He nods, and then sits down. Yang and John sit, with his head rested on her shoulder. Leliana hums to herself, while using her hands to make hearts at the two couples on the Bullhead. As you roll your eyes, Weiss keeps stroking your hair and begins to hum to you. Eventually, you manage to fall asleep like this.

You don't know how much time passes, but eventually, there's a loud noise as the Bullhead lands. Groggily, you watch as Yang wakes up first, and shakes John awake. Gideon and Leliana stand towards the exit, and Weiss offers you a hand up. Taking it, you rise to your feet. Oobleck comes back from the pilot seat, and smiles at you before grabbing his coffee mug.

" Look alive people," he says. " No telling what might be out there." As he says this, the doors open and reveal the ruined city.
