You sit with your team, and Team RWBY in the library. Yang and John waltz in with the newest edition of Remnant: The Game. You playfully roll your eyes at their antics, but also smile seeing your friend walk in holding hands with his girlfriend. The two of them sit down, and slide the game across the table. You hold up your hands, and say you don't really feel like playing. But, this makes John smile. " Scared," he teases. You roll your eyes at this, and then grab five cards from the top of the deck.

You, Weiss, Yang, Ruby and John play the game. Quickly, John is taken out by Yang and Ruby ganging up on him, and he smiles contently when he places the rest of his cards at the table. Weiss looks at her cards in confusion, having never played the game before. Leaning over, you tell her how she can use the cards in her hands, and she smiles at you. " Thank you (y/n)," she says. " Until these two have been finished off, you and I can join forces to rule Remnant."

This makes you laugh, seeing how competitive she always has been, especially when there's a chance she might be able to win something. Rather than be annoyed by it, you find her reactions to be cute. However, she shoots you a look, signalling to you to be serious so that you can win this card game.

" Right," says Ruby triumphantly. " I activate the spell card: Final Fusion! This lets us both special summon a Grimm from our side of the field. If my Grimm is stronger than yours, then you skip your next turn. So, I play my Nevermore Grimm."

Weiss looks through her hand, while you grab a card from your hand. " Right. So, I respond with Thunderstrike the Lightning Grimm." Her silver eyes widen in shock, and you smirk. " And then, I attack directly with Dogoron, the Mad Flame Grimm, eliminating your Kingdom."

Ruby babbles to herself, wondering how this could possibly have happened. The game goes on for awhile longer, until Sun comes in with someone you've never seen before. He looks like a total idiot with his blue hair, coat over his suit and goggles. He smirks, as he and Sun make their way over to the group.

" Hey Blake," says Sun. " Good to see you again. And you too Team RWBY and ( your team name). So, you guys going to the dance?" He turns back to Blake. " I figure it'll be kinda lame, but you and I could go together I was thinking. Maybe it would be a little less terrible for it."

" Hey," protests Weiss. " My team is helping Team CFVY put together the dance! Everyone who goes is going to have a good time, I guarantee it." Sun looks at her, and holds up his hands, making a big show of apologizing to her.

The kid with blue hair turns to Weiss, and shoots a wink. " I'm Neptune. Forgive my friend over here for he...is dumb. So, you're helping to plan the dance huh? How about you and I go together then?"

When she says this, you stand up and lace your arm around her waist. She looks at you surprised, but doesn't make an effort to get away. " Actually, she's going with me Neptune," you tell him. " I asked her last night." This makes Neptune hold up his hands, and then take a step back.

He apologizes, and then Yang gets a text. " Hey guys, Team CFVY is in the ballroom. They need some height to set up some lights, and also some muscle to move some things. Do you mind going to help them?"

Gideon smirks, and stands up. " Well, okay okay. Guess my height will be used for something other than bumping into doorways for once," he jokes, and everyone around him laughs. John punches his side playfully.

" And it has nothing to do with wanting to see Velvet," teases John, and watched Gideon try to put together a response. " It's alright man. I just like picking up heavy things in front of Yang. Makes me look tough ya know?"

" Hold on," says Ruby. " We never finished our game." Yang looks at her apologetically, and says it can be done another time, but you reach for the top card of your deck, and flip it over, and then smirk.

" Radian the Multidimensional Grimm," you tell her proudly. " It can make two attacks in a turn, and if one of them takes out a kingdom, it gets another attack. I win." She stutters to herself, but you walk off smiling. Eventually, she joins you and demands a rematch at some point. Smiling, the two teams make it into the ballroom, and start moving things for the team.

" Thanks for helping," says Coco. " Normally, we have Yatsuhashi to do this kinda thing, but he wanted to train for the upcoming Vytal Festival. So, we really appreciate the help from whoever we can get."

As you move a box, Weiss comes over to you with a smile on her face. " So, were you...jealous of Neptune? Because you moved really quickly to tell him we were going to the dance."

A blush hits your cheeks. " Not jealous, no. Just wanted to show him you and I were happily going to the dance together," you tell her. " I just...I don't like it when people try and make a move on my Weiss Cream."

Now, it's her turn to blush. " Oh, I'm your Weiss Cream," she says jokingly, and you blush some more. " I don't mind that," she says sincerely. You start rubbing the back of your head, and then you continue to help with moving things. Eventually, all the boxes are in place.

" We can unpack this tomorrow," says Coco. " For now, you guys all deserve a break. Sodas are in the fridge for everyone." Smiling your teams make their way to the refrigerator, and get a drink. Sitting around, you smile when you look around and see the antics of your team members.

Leliana talks with Coco about maybe playing music for the dance. Gideon talks with Velvet, and John tries to arm wrestle with Yang, and loses after a close call every time. Eventually, you feel Weiss tug on your shoulder. You look over to see her making puppy eyes. " Call me your Weiss Cream again," she begs.

" You're my Weiss Cream," you tell her, and she giggles, before hiding her mouth in her hands. Seeing this, John and Yang get up and make their way over to the two of you.

" Alright love birds," says John. " You guys ready?" You look at him confused. " Yang and Weiss are going dress shopping. Then, we're gonna go on a double-date. And if you guys wanna deny you're a couple still, then we won't call it that."

Rolling your eyes you stand up. You offer Weiss your hand, and then help her stand up. The two of you follow your friends to the location of the double-date.
