Sitting in the dorm with your team, you give a smile. The rest of the day went really well, and passed by quickly. Your teammates all sat around doing homework, and you sat their cleaning Zabimaru. A laugh escaped your lips as Leliana started singing something under her breath about ' Port' and ' wanting to kill myself.' Even something like that sounded like a potential record with her voice. Turning back to Zabimaru, the other three members of your team joined in with the song, adding verses about teachers and all the homework you had been getting lately. Smirking, you added in your own verse about Port's exaggerated stories of exploits as a huntsman. When the song ends, a round of applause is given all around the room. Eventually, it dies down and everyone goes back to what they were doing.

" Hey (y/n)," says John. " When are you gonna ask Weiss out?" Your eyes widen. If you had been drinking something, it would be all over Zabimaru right now. The question comes out of nowhere, and it takes you a solid minute to regain your composure. However, the second you do, the rest of your team decides to egg him on.

" Yeah. I mean, if you need inspiration, I can help you write a song," adds Leliana. " I also have some romance songs from when I played in taverns. Oh, but you and I could write an original piece for her. That would be so sweet!"

You keep trying to say something, but you keep getting teamed up on by the rest of your team. " I mean, if you could figure out to use Zabimaru, then you can surely ask out Weiss," adds Gideon. Rolling your eyes, you try to defend the practicality of Zabimaru, but then the conversation goes right back to you and Weiss.

" I mean, how sweet would that be," asks Leliana. " I can see it now. Childhood friends get separated but then find their way back to each other, only to fall in love. Imagine the stories you would get to tell their children."

Before you can say anything, the idea of you and Weiss raising a kid together hits your mind, and it makes you strangely happy. John sees this, and punches your arm playfully. " Thinking about it. The idea of having kids with Weiss, or the idea of the conception of kids with Weiss?"

This makes you blush, but you don't deny the idea of being with Weiss in that way would be something else. However, you decide you don't want to be the only one in the room getting ragged on. " Oh come on. Let's not act like I'm the only one in the room with a crush. John, how's it going with Yang?"

Rather than explode into stuttering and blushes, he gives a shrug. " Great. I think I might ask her to the dance when that comes up, and then I think I might ask her on a date really soon." You sigh, seeing that that distraction didn't last as long as you would've liked. But, from there he turns to Leliana. " Now, what about you and Juane? I saw the way you were hitting on him the other day."

She gives a shrug. " I mean, come on. He's cute. And he doesn't know he's cute, which is also cute in it of itself. He's also adorable when he trips over his words. All he needs is a little bit of confidence, and then he would be boyfriend material."

Turning to Gideon, John smiles. " And hey, you and Velvet? I saw that little smile when she introduced herself. And then when you turned back and were all like, ' I'll save you anytime.' What was with that man?"

He holds up his hands. " Just me doing the right thing man. And besides, I'm not looking for a relationship right now. I'm not really ready to balance one between everything with school." He says, this and seems sad for a second. However, he soon bounces back to his happy self, and jokes about relationships.

John snaps his fingers, and everyone turns to him. " A bet then! We each go after the person we like, and then have to get a date with them before anyone else." He fishes through his pocket, and pulls out a single Lien. " Yeah, I'm pretty broke. So, how does a one Lien bet sound to everyone?"

This makes the four of you laugh. Gideon holds up his hands. " I'm not really looking for a relationship guys," he repeats. John makes a shooing motion with his hands, and says it won't be a problem.

" Doesn't have to be a relationship," John assures him. " Just one date. Definition of a date: At least an hour, with food consumed willingly. The proof of victory will be a picture of you with your date, and the winner gets one Lien from each of us."

Laughing, you sigh. " Yeah okay," you say. " I could use the three Lien from all of you when I win this thing."

John laughs, and places his hand on your shoulder. " So, that just means you do wanna go on a date with Weiss." This makes you laugh, before sighing and deciding to admit it. Bracing yourself for more teasing, he smiles at you. " You could do a lot worse than her," he tells you. " And she could do a lot worse than you."

Thanking him, the team all start to discuss what they'll do with the three Lien they win, and the discussion makes you laugh. Even though you just met them, they quickly grow on you, and become almost like an extension of your family. Being with them is easy, and relaxing. You can really picture being friends with them through all of your time at Beacon, and then beyond that. Interacting with them is just amazingly fun.

Smirking, you aren't close enough to them to lose a Lien to them, and so you grab your Scroll to call Weiss.
