-Your Pov-

Sitting in your dorm, you make brief conversation with your team. John laughs and makes jokes with them, and they laugh. Leliana mentions her music, which starts a conversation. " So, what instruments do you play," asks John. When she asks this, she perks up and then goes to her bags. Carefully, she sets aside multiple different instruments, before pulling out a ukulele. Leliana gets her bow, and then sits down.

" I can play a lot, but this is my favorite one," she says proudly. " I used to be with a chapel, and the sisters made it for me. It's made of some of the best material in all of Remnant. Do you guys want to hear me play?"

Your team members nod, and she takes a deep breath. Slowly, she starts to play calming and tranquil music, about her experiences with the sisters in the chapel, and she sings with an absolutely beautiful voice. You're no judge of musical talent, but you can just tell how talented she is, and how much she has practiced this. Even if she was a prodigy, this was hour after hour of hard work and dedication. With all the music you listen to, this is still something different altogether. This isn't something that can be done with auto-tune or editing software. Leliana is truly an amazing singer. Hearing her sing reminds me of....well, the times you heard Weiss singing.

-Flashback-

Going to meet Weiss at the park, you smile when you see her. However, she hasn't seen you yet. In fact, she seems so sad. Tears on the verge of spilling from her beautiful eyes, and her body shivers with uneven breaths. When you get closer, you can hear her singing. You narrow your eyes in confusion when you hear her singing. Weiss finally sees you coming, and she wipes her eyes. She stops her singing, so you only picked out a line or two about being the ' loneliest of them all.' When she sees you, she tries to give a smile, but a shaky breath makes her drop her gaze. " (y/n)," she says shakily. " Thank you for coming."

Sitting next to her, you open your arms. She looks at them confused before deciding to throw herself into them. " What's wrong Weiss," you ask. She sobs into your arms, and struggles to form a reply. Seeing how sad she is breaks your heart a little bit. You start to rub her bag, and hold her until her breathing returns to normal.

" My dad is making me sing in a concert tomorrow," she says. " I don't want to though. The practices are so long, and the teachers are so mean! They scare me, and they yell at me. (y/n), I can't perform on stage. I'm so scared!"

" Weiss, I heard a bit of you singing. You have an amazing voice. I know how strong you are," you tell her. " I know you can do this." She looks at you confused, and then you hand her a necklace. Weiss looks at it and you in confusion.

" This is one I wear most of the time," you explain. " It helps give me more confidence in myself. If you're scared about singing, I want you to have it. When you wear it, picture me on stage with you. I'll be there in spirit to help push you forward."

-Present Day-

The song played by Leliana makes you drowsy, and your team mates are all tired also. Telling each other good night, you climb into your beds. Pulling out your scroll, you open some texts from Weiss, telling you goodnight. As always, you send her a text that says the same, and smile at her text.

In the morning, you wake up when you hear Leliana humming, and strumming her ukulele. Your team is waking up, and getting dressed for the day. Tired, you roll out of bed and get dressed. The four of you walk down to breakfast, and sit with Team RWBY and JNPR. Just like yesterday, John and Yang talk with each other, which makes you roll your eyes in a joking manner. " Juane Arc," says Juane, by means of introduction to the rest of your team. " Rolls of the tongue, short sweet and the ladies love it."

Groaning, you're actually surprised when Leliana reacts well to it. " I know I do. Leliana La Claire De La Lune. Pleasure to meet you." This turns him into a blushing and stuttering mess. For all of his boasting, this is probably the first time a girl has flirted back with him. This makes you laugh. Hopefully, this takes his attention to Weiss. Not that it matters to you, just that it annoys her. That's all it is, not any feelings you have for her.

Nora starts to moan about how it will be so confusing with people named ' John and Juane.' then, she tries to come up with unique nicknames for them to help differentiate. Leliana smirks, and decides to mess with Juane. " Well, you can just call this one ' Sexy.' This practically makes Juane pass out, and then Yang jumps into the conversation.

" Wrong John to call ' Sexy," she says, pointing at the John on your team. The two of them start to jokingly argue about which one of them is cuter. You give a small smile at their conversation. This goes on for awhile, until Leliana turns to Weiss.

" Oh, hey. Weiss Schnee right," she says, and Weiss nods. " I've seen several of your concerts. You have an amazing voice." Weiss thanks her for the praise, and then Leliana continues. " Well, I also used to perform in taverns. Maybe you and I can do a duet sometime."

Weiss nods, and says that's something she might be interested in. " Oh hey," she says. " Maybe we can perform a love song so you can confess your feelings for (y/n)." This makes both you and Weiss blush at the prospect of that, and Weiss quickly denies it as she tries to regain her composure.

Her quick denial of it....hurts you for some reason. And then you know why. For sometime, this has been a nagging doubt in your mind. You have feelings for her, and have for sometime.
