Sameer smiled in response and then smashed his lips on her soft lips. The kiss was filled his love and affection that both of them had for each other. Naina was slightly shocked initially but then started reciprocating. Both of their tongues dancing together on the heartbeats and both the souls tied together in an invisible bond of togetherness.

Next day :
At red rose :

Pandit - Yaar kar paoge tum log? Bhai izzat doob jaegi agar haar gaya tu. Hariyo mat please. ( munching the samosas).

Munna - Tu ponga ka ponga hi rahega. Yeh kam tension mein hai jo tu aag mein aur ghee dal raha? Tu apna samosa hi kha beta tumse na ho paega.

Preeti - Aree kitna tension lete ho tum log yeh dono bahut acha dance karenge aur jitenge bhi chinta mat karo.

Pandit - Tujhe itna bharosa kaise?

Swati - Kyunki tum logo ne shayad Naina ka dance dekha nai hai. Studies ke saath dance mein bhi topper hai hamari Naina (proudly).

Pandit - Toh hamara bhai konsa kam hai? Ache acho ko piche chhodd dega.
(raised his imaginary colars).

(Samaina weren't listening to their conversation and were sitting quietly thinking about something and looked a bit tensed.)

Preeti - Toh hamari Naina bhi na sabse best hai. Koi nahi tik pata uske samne.

Munna - Nahi Sameer best hai.

Swati - Nahi Naina.

Pandit - Nahi Sameer.

Preeti - Nahi Naina.

The four started arguing loudly which disturbed Samaina and they got irritated.

Naina - Chupppp! Sameer aur mujhe Sunaina aur Kartik se compete karna hai ek dusre se nahi. Toh ye kya laga rakha hai? Aur hum log yaha tension mein hai aur tum logo toh apne jhagde mein mast ho.

Swati - Aree par Naina tu kyun tensed hai tu toh sabse best dance karti hai (toothy smile).

Sameer - Aree yaar dance best karne ki baat nahi hai. Wo dono bahut chalu hai jeetne ke liye kuch bhi kar sakte hai. Aur ye competition imandaari se ho jaye ye toh bilkul possible hi nahi hai. Wo dono zaroor koi dirty game khelenge.

Naina - Sameer bilkul sahi keh raha hai wo dono itni asani se hame jeetne toh denge nahi, aur beimaani toh rag rag mein hai unki.

Preeti - Yeh baat toh hai. Woh log kuch  na kuch toh zaroor karenge.

Munna - Toh hum sab baith ke unke plan ka  intezaar hi karte rahenge? Tum log jaldi jao aur practice start karo hum bahar pehera dete hai ki koi andar jakar tumhara dance copy na karle ( behaving like a detective).

Samaina - Haa chalo chalte hai jaldi bas 2 weeks hai hamare paas practice karne ke liye. Jaldi start karna chahiye.

Preedit and Swamun - Haa tum log andar jakar practice karo hum bahar rehte hai.

Samaina - Thik hai.

Samaina went inside the room and started searching for different songs to dance on. After a hunt of about 1 hour they found the required song.

🎶 I found a love for me
Oh darling, just dive right in and follow my lead
Well, I found a girl, beautiful and sweet
Oh, I never knew you were the someone waiting for me...... 🎶

They started dancing on the beats. Both were looking into each others eyes as if wanting to drown completely in their depths. They often came really close to each other while dancing and didn't wanna move apart but eventually had to. They were just lost in each other that they couldn't spot 4 pairs of eyes adoring them.

At last when the song was just going to be finished they came dangerously close and were about to kiss when Pandit suddenly interrupted.

Pandit - Aree bhai bhai control. Dance karna hai abhi ye sab baad mein kar liyo. ( teasing).

Munna - Ponga kardi na tune wohi wali baat control kaha se karega? Hamara bhai itna shakth thodi hai (teasing).

Sameer - Batau tum logo ko kitna control kar sakta hu? ( rolling up his sleeves ).

Pandit - Nahi bhai samajh gaye.

Munna - Waise bhabhi dance aap bada acha kar rahi thi. Chaa gayi aap toh.

Sameer - Oh bhabhi ke devar ye akele dance nahi kar rahi thi mai bhi kar raha tha. Aur chhooze meri toh kabhi itni tariff nahi ki.

Munna - Tariff karne ke liye kuch hona bhi toh chahiye. (in a low tone).

But still everyone heard it and were trying not to chuckle.

Sameer - Kya bola be?

Munna - Nahi bhai kuch bhi toh nahi kisiki itni himmat jo tere samne kuch bole?

Everyone chuckled seeing their antics.

Two weeks went by swiftly and they carried on quite perfectly with the dance. Sunaitik had still not played any trick so they thought maybe they changed a bit and wanted the game to be fair.

On the competition day.

Sameer - Naina aur kitna time lagega?
( standing outside the changing room).

Naina - Bas hogaya aa rahi hu.

Sameer - Yaar Naina tum pichle 1/2 hour se bol rahi ho hogaya aa rahi hu par aa hi nahi rahi (mimicking her).

Pandit - Aja jaldi Naina hamare bhai se aur control nahi ho raha ( teasing tone).

The door knob clicked and Naina finally came out in her white gown decked up in some simple ornaments and light makeup. She looked absolutely angelic.

The other five were awestruck looking at her. Sameer couldn't take his eyes off Naina and just wanted to pull her into his embrace.

Pandit - Bhaisahab bhaisahab bilkul atom bomb lag rahi hai.

Sameer heard this and slapped his head.

Sameer - Saale bhabhi hai teri.

Pandit - Oh haa sorry sorry. ( smiled sheepishly).

Everyone chuckled at this. But suddenly Preeti's eyes widened in horror.

Preeti - Oh shit!

Pandit - Kya hua koi bhoot dekh liya kya?

Preeti - Nahi wo dekh.

Pointed towards Naina. All others also looked at her and their eyes also got widened in shock. Naina got confused by their reaction and looked at the mirror. Her eyes also got widened and wrinkles appeared on her forehead. Her eyes had changed their colours and were completely red.

Sameer - Naina tum bahut zyaada nervous ho na? (worried)

Naina - Haa but ab kya kare aise bhi toh nahi ja sakte.

Munna - Tu pehle chill kar thoda aur nervous mat ho itna sab kuch thik ho jaega.

Naina - Par main try karo toh bhi nervous ho hi jati hu aur upar se ye eye colour ab kya kare? ( started panicking).

Suddenly Sameer got an idea.

Sameer - Bahar tum aise hi jaogi.

Naina - Kya!  Pagal toh nahi hogaye ho sab log dayan samjhenge mujhe.

Sameer - Aree meri puri baat toh sun lo. Hum aise chalte hai aur koi puche toh bata denge ki contact lenses apply kiye hai.

Naina relaxed on hearing the idea.

Naina - Thank god Sameer tumhe pata hai mujhe bahut dar lag raha tha kahi colour ki wajah se hum bahar nahi ja penge aur participation se pehle hi haar jaenge.

Sameer - Aree aise kaise? Itni mehnat ki hai aise hi thodi pani mein jaane deta.

Naina  got relaxed and hugged him.

Naina - Thank you.

Sameer - Madam dosti se ek usul hai dosti main no sorry no thank you.

Naina chuckled listening this. While Munna coughed intentionally to bring them back from their own world. Both of them realised that they are still hugging and parted. Meanwhile Sameer was cursing Munna under his breath for spoiling the beautiful moment.

Munna - Aree chalo tumhare performance ka time hogaya hai.

Their performance was just after Sunaitik so they quickly reached the backstage and waited for Sunaitik to complete their dance.

The music started.

🎶 I found a love for me..... 🎶

The six looked at each other.  They were completely shocked.

Sameer - Yeh log toh kisi aur song par dance karne wale the na? Fir yeh?

Naina - Samjh gayi woh log hume pareshan isliye nahi kar rahe the taki hamara song janke ain mauke pe usi pe perform kar sake. Yeh log kabhi nahi sudhrenge.

All of them gritted their teeth and anger was evident in their eyes.

Swati - Ab kya kare? Same gaane pr perform bhi nahi kar sakte nahi toh disqualify ho jaenge.

Sameer - Ab bas ek last option hai.

Others - Kya!

Sameer - Gaana change karna padega.

Naina - (became worried) par Sameer itne kam time mein gaana kaise change karenge? Aur steps? Sab barbaad ho gaya ab kuch nahi ho sakta. ( started sobbing).

Everyone went towards Naina and tried to console her. Sameer went towards Munna and gave him some instructions about the new song and then went towards Naina. The others excused themselves to leave the couple alone to talk.
Sameer kept his hands on Naina's cheeks and wiped her tears. Naina looked up to find Sameer standing infront of her.

Naina - Ab kya hoga Sameer?

Sameer's heart flinched on seeing tears in her eyes. He really wanted to kill Sunaitik at the moment but he couldn't do anything even after knowing that they have cheated.

Sameer - Naina pata hai jab hum takraye the confession ke baad ek dusre se, tab mere dil mein bas ek hi gaana chal raha tha.

🎶 Tere paas harpal rahun
      Yahi aarzu hai meri
      Saanson mein teri mehek
      Ho haathon mein hath tera......🎶

Naina - (astonishingly) Mere bhi dil mein yahi gaana baj raha tha.

Sameer - Toh ab jo gaana hamare dil mein ek dusre ko dekhke baja tha wohi gaana hamare pehle couple dance par bajna chahiye na?

Naina nodded cutely.

Naina - Par Sameer steps?

Sameer - Bas gaane ko feel karna aur meri ankhon mein dekh ke wo sare pyaare pyaare pal yaad karna jo humne saath bitaye the bas steps apne aap ban jaenge.

Naina smiled at him. His words and actions were like medicine to her wounds.

Sunaitik's performance was soon over and they came down giving Samaina a winning smile.

Kartik- ( To Sameer ) Ab ready hoja pure school ke samne humse maafi mangne ke liye.

Sameer's anger rose and he was just about to hit him when the host announced Samaina's name.

Kartik - Na na gussa nahi karte ja ab stage pe kar jo kamal karna hai kar kyuki jeetenge toh hum hi.

Sunaitik laughed while Samaina gave a disgusted look to them.

After the quarrel Samaina entered the stage. The lights went off and the spotlights fell on them. Naina kept her one hand on Sameer's shoulder and Sameer also kept his one hand on her waist while they interlinked their fingers with the other hand. They looked into each others eyes and the music started.

They both started moving with the beats of the song while their eye lock didn't break even for a second.  For some moments they completely forgot everything about today's events. The only thing that they remembered was their love and affection they had for each other.

The dance was really smooth and it seemed like either they were pro-dancers or practised the dance from a really long time. Their performance was flawless. After the performance was over there was complete silence for a moment after which the room was boomed with thundering claps. Both of them got down and stage and waited for the results while the judges were confused who to announce as the winner as Sanaitik's and Samaina's performance were the best.
Both the teams went to backstage and crossed their fingers.
