After few minutes of dancing they finally got tired and got ready for the proposal .

It was almost 4:30 in the evening when the girls were waiting impatiently and cursing the boys under their breaths for getting late. After about another 15 minutes Munna came running towards the girls. He looked scared and was breathing heavily. The girls got worried on seeing him like this and asked the reason behind him being in a such a condition . Panting heavily he managed to speak. Sa... Sameer us ta...taraf hai humpar wolfs ne attack kar diya aur sameer us taraf fas gaya aur pandit us taraf. He showed two different directions. Please Naina, Preeti mere bhaiyo ko bacha lo dono please alag alag jao jaldi se, mere bhaiyo ke paas zyaada waqt nahi hai (Pleading).

Swati - Main bhi chalti hu tum dono ke saath.

Munna - Nahi Swati ho sakta hai wo wolfs wapas akar mujhe bhi marne ki koshish kare isliye please mujhe chhodd kar mat jao (requesting).

Naina - Munna sahi keh raha hai Swati hum log jate hain tu yahi par ruk uske saath.

Naina and Preeti without wasting a further second departed to save the love of their lives.

Naina's P.O.V

My breath hitched on hearing that Sameer's life was at stake. I was afraid of loosing him. I loved him dearly and couldn't imagine my life without him. My vision got blurred as tears filled up my eyes. But I controlled myself as it wasn't the time to cry instead it was the time to save the love of my life. I can't let anyone or anything harm him in any way. So without thinking further I ran to save him.
P.O.V ends.

Naina was going past a tree bit closely when two arms pulled her and pinned her to the tree. Naina's orbs changed their colour instantly. She felt a familiar palm of her cheek so opened her eyes to find Sameer standing infront of her and looking at her lovingly . She got overwhelmed on seeing him fine and without thinking twice hugged him tightly. Sameer was quite shocked initially but then reciprocated it.

Naina - Sameer tumhe pata hai main kitna dar gayi thi e - ek pal ke liye la - laga jaise maine tumhe hamesha ke liye kho diya hai. (Sobbing bitterly). Tum theek toh ho na kuch hua toh nahi na tumhe? ( said checking his hands and face like his mother)

Sameer - Nahi Naina main ek dum theek hu (still in her embrace) aur wo sab jo Munna ne tum sab ko kaha tha wo ek plan tha hamara we never got attacked by the wolves again in the first place after you scared them off that day. Guess they are really scared of you (trying to lighten her mood).

Naina immediately distanced herself from him on listening this.

Naina - How could you Sameer? How could you? tumhe pata bhi hai meri saanse maano ruk si gayi thi wo sab sunke yeh tumhare liye choti cheez hogi but mere liye nahi. You really matter to me and I can never see you in any sort of danger. Par tumne ye sab kiya kyu? Kyu?(still Sobbing) (she then carelessly wiped her tears and spoke further) you know what Sameer I hate you.......I really hate you .
Saying so she turned back to leave but stopped rooted at her place on hearing Sameer's voice.

Sameer - But I love you. Yes Naina I really love you. Tum woh pehli ladki wo jisne Sameer Maheshwari ko affect kiya. Woh pehli ladki ho jise maine pyaar kiya. Woh pehli ladki ho who drove me crazy....completely crazy. Aur tum hi ho woh ladki jisne Sameer ko pyaar ka matlab samjhaya and you are only girl who set those butterflies in my stomach and made my heart flutter. Main agar bhi tumse dur jaane ki koshish karta hu toh aur paas kheecha chala ata hu,jab bhi tumhe dekhta hu apne aap ko kho beth ta hu.
Aur tum ek baar haan bolke toh dekho apne sare dosto ko bol dena hai oye aankh neeche bhabhi hai na teri. (dramatically).
I love you so much miss Naina Darce, will you accept me to annoy you for the rest of your life? ( sat down on one knee holding a proposal ring ).

Naina turned back and looked at him with moist eyes, ran to him and enveloped him in her warm embrace. She then whispered against his ears.

Naina- I love you too Sameer.

Then pecked his right cheek. Shocked would be an understatement. He was still Processing the things in his mind while looking at Naina astonishingly.
His lips soon quivered into a smile and he picking up Naina in his arms he started revolving around .

Naina - Sameer chhoddo mujhe main gir jaungi chakkar aa rahe hain mujhe. (smiling at his childish behaviour).

Keeping her down he slipped the ring into her finger and then captured her lips. The kiss was completely filled with love, care, affection, trust and respect that they had for each other. There was absolutely no sign of lust in it. After about 10 minutes the urge to breathe separated them.

Sameer - (panting heavily) Chale?

Naina - Ai-aise jaoge? (breaking heavily).

Sameer - Kyu theek nahi dikh raha hu kya?

Naina - Dikh toh ache rahe ho matlab man na padega red lipstick really suits you. (Bursted out laughing).

Sameer couldn't understand what Naina was saying but suddenly realisation hit him hard and he widened his eyes his horror. He touched his lips and realised that her lipstick had smudged on his lips too. He quickly wiped it with his shirt and asked her again.

Sameer - Ab toh theek hai na? Chale ya yahi rehne ka plan hai? Waise idea bura bhi nahi hai. ( Sameer said smirking mischievously ).

Naina - Chup karo aur chalo. (She dragged him by his hands and soon they reached the place where the other two couple stood talking to each other and showering their love on their each other).

Mundit came towards Samaina and pinched Sameer.

Sameer - Ouch!

Naina - Kya hua?

Sameer - Chim..

Munna - chitti....bahut chittiya hai na yaha toh kisine kaat liya hoga.

Sameer - Haa bahut badi chitti ne kata hai ( eyeing Munna ).

The girls gave them a weird look and continued with their talks.

Sameer - Kya hua? (irritated)

Pandit - Bhai tu bol kya hua?

Sameer - Kya hona tha?

Pandit - Matlab Haa bola ya nahi?

Munna - Koi baat nahi hota hai.

Sameer - Aree par....

Pandit - Arey samajh gaye re dil chota mat kar.

Sameer - Par meri baat...

Munna - Aree chinta mat kar aur bhi bahut ladkiyan milengi tujhe.

Sameer - Chup! Bilkul chup! Haa bol diya Naina ne. (in one go).

Munna and Pandit were trying to control their chuckles but at last bursted out laughing.

Sameer - Toh tum log meri tang kheech rahe the? (narrowing his eyes).

Mundit - Haa (still laughing and started running).

Sameer started chasing them while the girls stood there as spectators and were giggling continuously.

Munna Pandit passed closely past Naina because of which she stumbled but before she could fall on the ground, Sameer saved her. He held her by her waist. Naina's eyes were closed probably due to the fear of falling down. He tucked a strand of hair behind her ear that just came infront of her face and was obstructing Sameer's view. She slowly opened her eyes and looked into his intense eyes. Both of them wished for the time to stop. They were lost in each other's eyes not worrying about the surroundings and the silent spectators stood there watching the lovely couple. Both of them could hear only one song playing in their hearts and minds.

    Yahi aarzu hai meri
    Saanson mein teri mehek
    Ho haathon mein hath tera..........🎶

But the moment got soon spoiled when Munna coughed intentionally.
On realising their position, Naina pushed Sameer slightly and they both got separated and stood maintaining one arm distance between each other. Naina had lowered her gaze and both of them were blushing.

Pandit - Oye hoye hoye hamare bhai ko blush bhi karna ata hai? Kya baat hai hume toh pata hi nahi tha.

Munna - Kya baat kar raha hai ponga yeh pyaar ka asar hai jo ache acho ko ghayal kar deta hai aur upar se ye toh pehle hi surrender kar chuka hai. Bhagwan bacha lena hamare bhai ko Naina devi se (dramatically).

As a reply he received a smack on his shoulder by Sameer and a deadly glare from Naina.
So he kept a finger on his lips. Everyone chuckled at his antics and forwarded towards the Darce mansion to spend some time with each other and complete their respective homeworks.
(Sameer and Naina were in the same class.)
(Preeti and Pandit were in the same class and were the immediate juniors of Samaina).
(Swati and Munna were in the same class and were the juniors of Samaina and Preedit.)

In the room :

The love birds were sitting next to each other holding hands, stealing glances of each other and smiling internally.

At almost 6 pm :

Pandit - Chalo bhaiyo chalte hai.

Munna - Haa chalo nikalte hein hum abhi waise bhi shaam ho chuki hai n it's getting dark also.

Sameer - Aree par thoda aur ruk jate hain na (made to baby face).

Pandit - Oh bhai! Ye sare techniques hum par nahi chalne wale yeh sirf teri Naina pe hi asar karenge hum nahi pighlane wale. ( laughing ).

Munna - Bhai raat ho rahi hai zyaada andhera hone ke baad jaenge na toh plan ka toh pata nahi par bhediye sach mein aa jaenge is baar.

Sameer - Aree par jana hi kyu hai hum yahi par ruk jate hai na tu Swati ke paas reh liyo. Pandit Preeti ke paas aur main Naina ke paas (leaning towards Naina) (Naina blushed on hearing this).

Munna - Haa aur jab ghar wale puchenge ki hum log yaha kyu hain toh bata denge ki hum apke hone wale damad hain uske baad zyaada se zyaada kya hoga joote marke ghar se nikal denge aur thode thappado ki baarish kar denge hum par, par hume kya farq padega hum toh paida hi thappad khane ke liye huye hai. Nahi? ( grinned sarcastically).

Sameer - Haa toh theek hai na chal le itna lamba bhasan dene ko kisne kaha tha (with a straight face).

Munna - Acha hum log chalte hai. Bye.
Bye Swati.

Pandit - Bye Preeti. Bye bhabi's.

Sameer - Bye everyone. Bye Naina(waving his hands).

Naina - Bye. (with a smile).

Sameer - Bye (lost in her and still waving his hand).

Munna slapped his forehead on seeing sameer.

Munna - Abe chal bhai, mere roadside Romeo. Kitna bye bolega jahannum nahi ja rahe hum ( dragged him towards their hostel while Sameer was still waving at her).

Naina was also lost in Sameer and blushed after the trio was out of her sight. Indeed it was the best day of their lives. The day that started with a sudden realisation and ended with promises to always be by each other's side and to never leave each other no matter what the situation would be.
