Kija:

Hidden behind the dense branches of an old fir tree, Kija looked out for the wild boar he had tracked down in the last 10 minutes.

The little Boy had wrapped his Hands around the Knife, look without any fear as he moved closer .

It had been three Days since his Brother had left him and his Sister alone in the dark Cave.

I will be back when the Sun rises...

Immediately after Seungmin had turned around to dissapear in the Shadows Kija had known that this Time something would be different.

First there was just that little uncomfortable flutter in his Stomach that seemed to play with his mind. But as the Sun started to rise higher and higher above the dark Treetops and with every Minute that passed the Shadows dissapeared farther and further away...he had known.

Seungmin was not a Person who broke his Word.

And especially not when it came to his Siblings. Kija always had known that the older one would do everything to return to them, no matter what it would cost.

Maybe that was the Reason why the little boy wasn't afraid as he now got into Position to jump.

He had now the Responsibility to look out for his Twin Sister.

And he believed that Seungmin would come back.

The Boar squeaked once before his eyes filed up with emptiness, legs giving up under the Body as it fell.

Kija wordlessly picked up the Body.

During other Times the 12 Year old would have jumped around now, proudly telling his Friends what he had catched.

But there wasn't anything to celebrate.

Hana looked up from the Fire, her Eyes filled up with Worry. As she saw him, a relieved Smile appeared on her Lips and she walked up to him.

,,Thanks god you're back." she threw one look at the Body in Kijas Hands and turned away, chuckling. She always had not been good with hunting which was not because she wasn't talented but because she couldn't see People or Animals die.

Instead, she always had a talent for healing Things.

She returned to the Fire.

,,I bet it wasn't hard to catch it?" She looked through the trees, watching the upcoming shadows.

He shook his Head, not saying anything as he putted down the Boar, turning his Head to watch her.

There was nothing left of the Girl that had grabbed his Hands three Days ago, her eyes full of Fear.

Instead, she was now standing in front of him, her long brown hair softly flying in the cold breeze of the Wind. In the belt of her coat was a little Knife and she looked wiser as she turned around now to ask:

,,Do you need help with it?" Not looking at the Boar she pointed on the Body.

He chuckled before raising an Eyebrow.

,,You want to do this? Hana you can't even look at the Body."

,,It's not the Body it's just..." She stopped, giving in. ,,Okay you're right I can't. I will try to find leaves and moss for our beds."

She dissapeard in the Shadows and his body straightened.

,,Don't go too far!"

She made a Move with her Hand, going further away.

A while later the Boar was finally ready to be cooked and Kija positioned it above the fire. Once up on a time his Father had teached him to do it and now his Fingers moved fast as he checked everything.

By the sudden sound of the Forest behind him he turned around.

,,A good you're coming the right second...."

The Words stopped in his Throat. Hana whimpered, eyes wide as she stared at him, a sword against her Throat as a Person moved out of the Forest, holding her tightly.

His long dark green Coat was falling down his broad shoulders and his pale face and the cold blue Eyes gave him a look of an Angel which was definitely not fitting the dark look on his Face.

,,Put the knife away child!" His deep voice echoed through the Darkness. ,,Let's go!"

Kijas Lips tightened and for a second he silently had a battle with the strangers eyes before letting go off the Knife.

Immediately two more People jumped forward and grabbed his Arms, guiding him to his knees, one of them looking up at the Soldier.

,,Don't over react Cole, those are just children."

,,Children who could be a danger for the Princess Jeongin."

,,What? Them? Look at them they aren't even able to kill a fly."

The little sympathy that had grown for the Jeongin guy in Kijas Stomach dissapeared.

,,I...killed...the Boar." He pressed out, eyes darkly staring at Cole who now raised an Eyebrow and looked even scarier. ,,We don't know anything about a Princess, we only want to get to our Brother."

,,Is that so? Why do I have the feeling you're still lying to me? And who allowed you to speak?"

,,He's not lying, let them go Cole."

It was like music in Kijas Ears, like Light in his Eyes.

A Person, dressed in White and shining like pure Starlight moved out from the Shadows. Her eyes were so light that it looked like crystal and were full of kindness as she looked at the Kids.

,,Cole!"

He letted go and Hana fell forward, almost hitting the Ground but Hands softly grabbed her and pulled her back up. The Woman smiled.

In the same second Kija felt how Jeongin and the stranger letted go and he jumped onto his Feet.

She turned to him.

,,So you're saying you killed that Boar?" Her eyes were full of interest. ,,Wasn't it hard ? It's really big for a Boar."

He stared at her, couldn't answer.

,,Speak Boy!"

,,I...no it wasn't. " He found his Voice.  ,,I learned it from my Brother."

Her lips turned into a shining smile.

,,Your Brother must be really smart then. And you must be the Sister right? Don't worry you don't have to be afraid, Cole is just really focused to protect me you know? He isn't that bad."

Hana threw an unsure look at the Man, Cole did not show any sign of emotion. His eyes were cold, still the same.

,,Do you mind telling me why you're alone in the Woods? It's not safe to be here."

,,We were fine until your Guards grabbed us."

,,Kija!" Hana stepped forward, apologized to the Woman. ,,They might could help us."

He opened his Mouth.

,,I see you're a little Brat but brave." The Woman said.

,,Don't worry. I'm not gonna hurt you. To introduce myself, I'm Princess Niamh from Aerilon and I'm on the Way to Fallmore Castle to save my Sister."

,,I'm Hana and that's my Brother Kija." Hana said and  kneeled down. ,,Your Majesty it's a pleasure to get to know you." She threw a look at her brother.

Reluctantly he bowed.

Coles Lips tightend.

,,Such Nice Names you have. " The Princess seemed not to notice.

,,Oh and get up sweetie. You don't have to bow for me. " She reached out, helping Hana up.

,,So you said you were on your Way to get to your brother? Is it the one who reached you to hunt?"

,,Yes." Hana nodded, her eyes filling up with excitement. ,,His Name is Seungmin, he was catched three days ago from we believe Knights from Fallmore. Can you help us to save him?"

,,We don't know if they catched him Hana, we just think they did. He left to go back to our Village while Knights from Fallmore were attacking us so we think they catched him. He hasn't returned to us."

Kija immediately added, not wanting to say something wrong out of hope.

Niamh carefully nodded, her eyes filled with Thoughts before she said: ,,it seems like our siblings both are prisoners there so it would be only fair to work together but I'm not sure if you really are made for such a Journey. You're still children."

The dissapointment in Kijas Stomach exploded like a bomb and he opened his mouth to say something.

,,Otherwise." Niamh looked at him. ,,I see that you won't give up even if I say no so the safest way is for you to come with me. I will ask my Brother Felix to keep an Eye on you two while Hyunjin can train them."

,,What? Your majesty do you really think that's the best way?"

Of course it was Cole who interrupted her. The Knight looked like he just had bitten into a sour lemon and his eyes were full of hidden Anger.

,,They could harm you, they could destroy our mission. "

She turned around and for the first time Kija could see the shadows in her crystal clear eyes as she said:

,,They are children Cole. I expect you to treat them well. They just want to see their Brothers again. They come with us. That's my last Word."

Her white silhouette dissapeared in the forest as she continued: turn off the fire cole, we will wait for you at the horses."

With that, she walked away, kija and Hana followed with Jeongin and the other Knights.

For a Second, Kija turned around and his and Coles Eye's met.

The soldiers had an expression that Kija couldn't name. As their eyes met, Coles eyes darkened and for a second there was something wild as he stared at the kid.

Then he turned around and dissapeard between the trees.
