~Roman's PoV~

Remember when I told Virgil to gather an army?

Yea, that wasn't for no reason. 

The two D's-interpret that however you want- had literally assembled their own army, an army of Dream Demons. They were higher quality though, probably since the D's had made them all themselves.

I just hope Virgil understands how to summon Dream creatures he can control...

~Virgil's PoV~

How the fuck do I summon my own Dream Creatures?

I know Roman told me to, but I have no clue how to do that. I decided my best chance was asking Nix. It was morning and I was about to leave.

"Hey Virgil! Where are you going?" Patton yelled after me, right before I was about to leave. I turned around to see Patton standing there, Logan right next to him. It honestly looked as if I was a teenager and my dads found out I was leaving for a party or something.

I decided to tell them the truth. "You know how Roman's been acting weirdly lately..?" I started, they nodded, "Well... that wasn't Roman, it was Deceit. And they gave me this thing that I can talk to him and Roman told me to bring an army of Dream Creatures..." I ended awkwardly.

Patton walked up to me and grabbed my shoulders. "I'm going with you." before I could retort he cut me off, "shut the fuck up, I'm going no matter what," he snapped. My eyes widened, Patton just swore?? Logan also looked shocked. I looked to him so that he could try to control his to-be boyfriend-seriously they eye-fuck each other constantly, how blind could they be?

Logan managed to peel Patton off me and held him close to his chest, but Patton was too busy glaring at me to notice or care. I sighed. 

"Fine, we'll go to the Dream World together-"

"Not just the Dream World, we're going to go help you get Roman back," Patton interrupted. I sighed again and nodded.

"Fine, just follow," and with that, we all ran to the Dream World.

~Time Skip~

I burst into Nix's shack, making her jump. She glared at me. "Anxiety!" she hissed. I shook my head.

"Listen Nix, these are my friends, Patton and Logan. Roman, the creative aspect, has been captured again, and I need to know how to summon my own Dream Creatures because they apparently have Dream Demons for their own army." I said in all one breath. Nix looked horrified.

"Oh my stars, follow me," she said, running out of the shack, I followed her closely. She stopped at an alter, though this one was different.

She looked back at me, "Listen Anx, you have to imagine what you want, and give it reason to come walking, hopefully you'll do good..." she whispered the last part, probably hoping I wouldn't hear it.

I gave a curt nod and stepped onto the altar. I took a deep breath. Before I could think, my eyes shot open, to see a dark knight standing in front of me. It wasn't what I was expecting, but anything to save Roman.

I finally found my breath, "Please help me. My..." I paused, what was Roman to me? I felt as if he was my boyfriend, but it wasn't official. "My boyfriend has been captured and I can't let him get hurt! Please, I need your help"

The knight looked at me for a while. For a second I though he was going to deny my plead. Maybe the knight doesn't think I'm serious. Maybe they're discusted! Maybe they're a homophobe-

"We will help. I would be honored to serve with someone who doesn't demand" the knight spoke.

" 'We'?" I asked. The knight nodded and suddenly more appeared by him. Some were darker, some were lighter. Some were built on strength, some on speed. My eyes widened, tearing up slightly.

"Thank you so much..." I trailed off.

"It's no problem, we are honored to serve with you" they spoke. I smiled and nodded, then the blackness faded back to the alter, except this time the knights were there too.

"My name is Virgil, these are my friends, Patton, Logan, and Nix. Another friend of ours has been captured, Roman. And we need your help to get him back" I announced to them. The knights all raised hands to salute me.

"Where to Virgil?" The original knight asked.

"To the Dark Palace"
