Chapter 50♥️

~Y/N POV~

For the first time in a week I was able to get some free time away from Jungkook today. I mean that has nothing to do with the fact that Jungkook is booked up for the day with constant meetings but it's just nice to get some more quality time with my brother, Yoongi but Taehyung also decided to tag along since I haven't seen much of him lately so at the first chance he got, he latched on to Yoongi and I and now here we all are, in the garden having a nice stroll through the grounds. It is a nice day anyway, not too cold either, it's just right.

Yoongi had hooked his arm around mine and Taehyung was busy talking about his horses he grew up with back at the home he grew up in before actually moving into the castle to be with Jungkook and of course his two older brothers, Jin and Namjoon.

It was kind of cute to hear how fond Taehyung is of his horses, back home but that only made me question why there wasn't any horses here at the castle, or at least a stable close by. From what I know, other castles in history have always had stables and horses, some even had their own little collection of farm animals. Why can't we have that here?

I may not be queen or anything but these questions do come to mind and it makes me wonder what Jungkook would think about that.

"Hey Taehyung, Yoongi? Why isn't there a stable here?"

We stopped walking and Yoongi only gave Taehyung an unreadable look, shaking his head.

"I'll tell you Y/n. There was one once but Jungkook's father got rid of it." Yoongi

"What? Why?"

I couldn't believe that. Like why? For what reason?

"Because it was only after Jungkook's mother passed was when his father burned it down and slaughtered all the animals." Yoongi

"Yeah the horses included." Taehyung

I heard him mumble sadly and I gasped. That's horrible.

"Why would he do that? Doesn't Jungkook know about this?"

"Of course he knows. He was sad about the whole thing but nothing could be done about it. I guess over time he's just completely forgotten about it." Taehyung

"Didn't I hear that Jungkook loved the horses?" Yoongi

He asked Taehyung directly and Taehyung nodded eagerly.

"Oh you bet he did!! He loved all the animals, even the stable boy well actually man because he was old but he had a dog called buttons! Jungkook loved him, it was the closest he had actually gotten to having a pet." Taehyung

Taehyung frowned, to look down to the bed of flowers that were to my right.

"Why hasn't he mentioned this before?"

"Probably doesn't remember much about it but I do! My mom even has pictures of him when he was a little boy playing in the mud with a pig." Taehyung

I laughed when the image of a little Jungkook rolling around in the mud came to mind. It just seemed right that image.

"Wait, so how could he of been sad about it but not remember much? That doesn't make sense Tae." Yoongi

Taehyung sighed sadly.

"Because only when he turned six was when he was allowed to go back to the stables. None of us were, only his mother was allowed to go there. It was the one thing nice that his father did for her but got rid of it as soon as he got the chance." Taehyung

The whole time I've known Jungkook and lived here never have I heard about this stables. Maybe people did really forget that it existed. It would of been nice to see some animals here on castle grounds. Just to have some animal life to make the place seem more lively and friendly, especially if my son was going to grow up here. I'm still thinking on that one.

"What are you thinking about Y/n?" Yoongi

I shrugged and began to start walking, Yoongi and Taehyung following me closely and both curiously watching me for my answer.

"Just thinking about how nice it would be if there was another stable in the grounds with horses or some farm life at least."

Taehyung clapped excitedly and jumped on the spot.

"Yes! That would be great!! You should talk to Jungkook about that, you seem to be able to convince him of anything Y/n without an argument. Tell I volunteer to be the stable boy!!" Taehyung

Raising his hand above his head, grinning widely at his own idea it did seem like a good one. Chuckling at his reaction I nodded.

"I'll see if I can mention something but it's not always guaranteed Taehyung."

"I know that but its worth a try." Taehyung

"Oh fuck. What does he want?" Yoongi

I gazed to Yoongi next to me and followed his line of sight, glaring towards something in front of us. There walking towards us, hands casually in his pockets and a light smile on his face he stopped in front of us and bowed.

"Jongin you really don't have to do that every time we see each other."

I laughed lightly seeing his stretch his smile wider and stand back up straight.

"I'm just being respectful but Hi." Jongin

He waved rather cutely but Taehyung scoffed at the man and Yoongi just pulled me closer to his side.

"Hi."

"Could I actually speak to you about something? There's something that I'd like to talk to you about." Jongin

At first I hesitated, but looked over to Yoongi still glaring at Jongin, refusing to take his eyes off the man and Taehyung was staring up at something towards the castle. I looked up in the same direction to see Jungkook standing at one of the small corridor windows staring back at us. I couldn't read his expression but I knew he was watching us obviously.

"Okay. I'll talk to you."

"Could we be alone? If that's okay?" Jongin

More pacifically he asked Yoongi and Taehyung both glancing to each other them.

"Hell no." Yoongi

"Yoongi I'll be fine."

I tried to reason with him but he shook his head at me.

"No, no way am I leaving you alone with him." Yoongi

Pointing to Jongin, hatred filled his expression. I just sighed and embraced Yoongi in my arms, purposely standing on my tippy toes to get to his ear.

"Don't worry I'll be fine. Just go to the tree with Taehyung and Jongin and I will stay here so you can see us. Plus Jungkook is watching and I'm sure he's probably got some guards on standby."

I whispered in his ear. Stepping back I seen the way Yoongi looked up to the castle to see what I say was true and it was. Jungkook was still there watching.

"Okay fine. Five minutes though and that's it." Yoongi

I nodded and Yoongi unhooked his arm with mine and grabbed Taehyung by the scruff of shirt on his back and dragged him towards the tree, Taehyungs glaring eyes never leaving Jongins form. Jonging awkwardly stood there watching the two walk away to the tree but I cleared my throat to catch his attention.

"Jongin? What would you like to talk about? Yoongi only gave us five minutes."

I laughed lightly and he shook his head, coming back to his thoughts.

"Ah yes, well I guess I better get straight to the point then since we don't have a lot of time." Jongin

I nodded and he gently grabbed my arm and assisted me towards the bench next to us, sitting down next to each other but I moved my body so I was facing him directly.

"So what is it?"

Jongin sighed and an sad expression washed over him. He looked so sad that just looking at him made me sad.

"You know how you asked if we met before and I told you we did as kids?" Jongin

"Yes I do but by the way you talked about Yoongi it seems you never met him before coming to the castle no?"

He nods, glancing over to Yoongi over by the tree, pacing side to side glaring in our direction and hands behind his back and Taehyung leaning up against the tree, playing with a pocket knife between his fingers, giving off that dangerous vibe. That's new, Taehyung is usually the childish friendly type, not the dangerous type of person.

"What I want to explain to you is that we met long before you came here. We first met when you were two years old and it was my fault to how you ended up here at the castle." Jongin

I gasped and threw myself back away from him. Shaking my head at him in complete disbelief.

"What? How? I don't remember anything."

"That's because you were so young and went through so much." Jongin

"Then what happened? Please tell me."

I was desperate to know. I needed him to tell me the blanks that have been there this whole time. Taking Jongins hands desperately pleading with him to tell me. He looked down at our hands and took a deep breath.

"It was my father that kidnapped you on behalf of Sakuras family and it was I that helped you escape," Jongin
