Logan POV:

The first thing I was aware of was empty blackness. Then I hear a voice calling from a great distance repeating "Wake up". "Wake up". "Wake up". The voice gets louder and clearer as I feel myself getting closer and closer to it. Suddenly, a bright light fills the space and I open my eyes. I find myself in a strange room and hear something hitting the roof.

???: *Sobbing*

I hear crying and sit up to find a brown-skinned woman with brown hair looking at me and see that the crying is coming from a young girl who is kneeling in front of me.

Girl 1: You're okay... You're really okay...

She hugs me tightly and I can hear the relief in her voice

Girl 1: Thank Goodness...

The other girl smiles a little and is happy for the one hugging me. She then expresses her concern.

Girl 2: Are you okay? Can you stand?

Logan: Y-yeah. I think so.

I stand up and look around to see several pieces of equipment that are on and functioning.

Girl 2: We should go. No guarantee that whoever brought him here is going to be gone for long

I get up and walk out of the room. We go down a hall and end up taking the stairs even though we passed by an elevator. We walk down a few flights of stairs until we reached the end of the stair case. In which we had to enter the floor and continue finding another way. The floor we are currently on is looks more abandoned than the one I woke up in. I am confused by all this, so I stopped for a moment to try and process everything.

Girl 1: Huh? What's wrong? Are you hurt?

Logan: W-where am I?

Girl 1: Huh? You're in the old Eden Hospital. It's been abandoned for years. Although judging by the equipment around you, that floor was being used recently.

Girl 2: Wait. You really can't remember

Girl 1: Huh?

Girl 2: What's your name? Do you remember that at least?

Light: Y-yeah. It's Logan

Girl 2: Can you remember your last name?

Light: Yeah, Blackburn

Girl 2: Blackburn? Chiyo, I though your last name was Aikawa.

Chiyo: Um, Well... Our family isn't exactly a traditional one.

Girl 2: Ah, I see. Logan, can you remember anything besides your name? Family? Friends? How you got here?

I try to remember something but nothing comes. Like it was never there.

Logan: N-no. I can't remember anything. Just you two when I first woke up.

Chiyo: No

Girl 2: Well, we better keep going. I don't know how much longer well be alone here.

Logan: Do you have a name?

Girl 2: Yeah, it's Hinata Hino. Now let's keep moving.

We keep moving down the hall and see the other staircase. Chiyo doesn't run much, so I decided to carry her on my back.

Chiyo: Thank you.

Logan: Don't mention it.

We get closer to the door, until suddenly a barrier appears on and blocks our way.

Logan: Am I hallucinating, or is there an magic seal blocking our way.

Hinata: No, it's real! I'm not sure if it's magic, but it's real!

Suddenly, the hallway begins to warp and distort. It turns into a graveyard suspended in the air and several crystals are floating along with some kind of eclipse high above us. Suddenly, these pale creatures with pointed ears and fangs in place of canine teeth appear with blades.

Chiyo: A-A-Are those.... Vampires.

Vampire 1: Look at that. It's smarter than it looks.

Vampire 2: Offer your life without resistance, and there will be no pain.

Vampire 3: Although putting up a little fight will be allowed. I'm interested in prey that fight back.

My head begins to hurt and I end up seeing a man that seems to also be a vampire, but with power that's on an entirely different level than the ones threatening us.

Logan: Who are you?

???: What caused you to end up here?

Logan: My sister and her friend are in danger. I have to help them. But will I be enough to protect them.

???: You're power is already more than enough for those worthless creatures. They could never hope to be a vampire such as me. Show them what you're capable of, child.

I snap back to the reality we are trapped in and see the Hinata knocked down by the vampires.

Vampire 3: Hehehe! I like you girl. Don't worry. I'll make it quick.

Suddenly, I feel a pain in my chest as if I was having a heart attack. Soon enough, blood starts spraying from my body, as if I was cut by a dozen swords. I start floating up and the pool of my blood begins to form different streams. They surround me and start hitting parts of my body. I feel power surging and I find myself encased in demonic looking armor.

A vampire charges at me with his greatsword in his hands.

Vampire 3: You think you can scare me with that street magician trick!?

I end up grabbing his face without looking and end up crushing it. I drop the carcass onto the ground and the blood from it flows out to form a dark, blood-red sword in my hand

Hinata: What the!?

Chiyo: Big brother?

Vampire 2: You got lucky.

Vampire 1: Prepare to die!

I use my sword to vertically slice the vampire in half. I then use my speed to appear in front of the last vampire and grip their neck with my hand before decapitating him with my claw-like gauntlet. Suddenly the armor disappears and we all end up in what should be the real world.

Hinata gets up as she and Chiyo tries to process all of this.

Hinata: What the hell was that!?

Suddenly, I get tired and I kneel down. But I can't rest yet, I have to get out of here with the others.

Chiyo: Are you okay!?

Logan: Yeah, but we better get the hell out of here.

Hinata: Agree with you all the way.

We enter the stairwell door, but find the stairs have been busted up.

Hinata: What the!?

Chiyo: But they were intact when we came up.

I look around and see a door leading to a helipad. I point it to the others and they agree it's better than staying inside the building. We go through it and I find myself looking at a vast city with many futuristic buildings.

Logan: Where are we?

Chiyo: We're in the city of Glass. A city owned by your dad's company.

Logan: I literally don't remember anything.

Chiyo: Oh right.

I see a helicopter flying over us and begins to descend.

Hinata: Well you're about to find out soon enough.

The Helicopter lands on the helipad and several armed people come out of it. They come toward us and ask us questions.

Guard: Chiyo Aikawa and Hinata Hino, correct?

Hinata: Yes

Chiyo: That's correct.

Guard: Who's he?

Hinata: The son of Monarch Solution's CEO.

Chiyo: Please help him.

The guard surround me and began to both frisk and scan me.

Hinata: Hey, take it easy with him. He's lost his memory and just woke up.

Guard: You lost your memory, is that true?

Logan: Yeah. I can't remember anything.

A guard pulls out a tablet and pulls up information on me.

Guard 2: Checks out. He's Gabriel Blackburn's son alright. Although it looks like he could use some medical attention.

Guard: Alright get in the helicopter, well be taking you home. You two as well. I mean, unless you want to just walk.

Chiyo: Um, well accept you offer.

Hinata: Yeah, I'm done with stairs for a bit.

We all get in the helicopter and it takes off. I look out the window and get a larger view of the city I find myself in.

Logan: Glass. It's beautiful.

Hinata: Yeah. I still can't believe how his city got even bigger in such a short time. For better or worse, it's a nice place to get away from the rest of the world,

Logan: What do you mean?

Hinata: I'll tell you later. It's been a very long night.

Logan: Got it.

The helicopter heads for a building that is taller than the rest and gets on the helipad. I soon see someone walking toward us.

???: Hello Son. I'm so happy to see that you're okay.
