Chapter 7: The Spy Mission And First Date
Anna dashed down the stairs as soon as she heard the doorbell. She almost tripped and fell when she reached the bottom. She went passed Elsa who came out of the kitchen door with a confused look on her face. Elsa watched Anna in wonder as she opened the door.
"Hey!" exclaimed Punzel and Merida in unison.
"Hey guys!" Anna stepped aside to let them in. "So glad you both made it."
"No problem," said Punzel with a grin. "I never cancel the times for the mall."
"Well I do but since Elsa is going out with Jack, I might as well go with you both," grunted Merida with a playful pout.
Anna and Punzel laughed at Merida's failed attempt to look angry. "Oh come on, Merida it'll be fun."
"The last time you said that, we had to leave everything that we've picked up because you forgot your credit card.''
"Well I assure you I have it now."
They all turned to Elsa who stood patiently at the doorway. "Oh don't let me ruin your fun conversation, I'll be in the room." She turned to make a run for it.
"Not so fast," snarled Merida, stopping Elsa. "Aren't you going to tell us?"
Elsa turned and gave them a bored look. "Tell you what? You people already know so much about my life, what's there to know?"
Punzel rolled her eyes, "Stop the act! There's something you're not telling us. What happen between you and that Zach guy?"
"Oh my God!" Anna held both her cheeks with wide eyes. "Don't tell me you've both made out?!"
Merida and Punzel stared at their friend, dumbfounded.
Elsa ignored Anna's outburst and said," Nothing happened."
"Oh really?" Merida didn't believe her. "Ever since your conversation with him, you've been a little...how can I say this? You're not talking so much when the boys are around and you keep on giving Jack this looks." Merida, Anna and Punzel studied Elsa's expression.
Elsa didn't say anything, but seeing her friends determined looks, she turned and went to her back yard and sat down on the green grass. The girls followed her.
"Well?" Punzel was the one who broke the silence.
Elsa tilted her head to her right shoulder and said, "He told me something about Jack."
After she told them about what Zach said, the girls remained silent.
"Why didn't he tell you about Jack and Jim's story?" Asked Merida.
"I want Jack to tell me," answered Elsa as she wrapped her arms around her legs.
"Has he?"
Elsa shook her head. "I haven't ask."
"Well you have to if you want to know," stated Anna.
Punzel's eyes widened when she remembered something. "I overheard Jim's conversation two days ago at school."
"What's it about?" wondered Merida.
Punzel moved closer and told them.
☆ Flashback.
Punzel fiddle with her phone as she was waiting for Flynn by the school's gate.
She looked up when she heard footsteps behind her. Jimmy was strolling towards her, he was in a deep conversation with the phone on his ear. Punzel turned, pretending she hadn't saw him. When Jim went passed her, she heard him say, "Jack's still new to this. No he doesn't know. The boys wants to meet up, we'll meet up at the Brittney's Mall."
Punzel watched as Jim went to his car and drove away.
"What was he talking about?" She asked no one in particular.
☆ End of Flashback.
"And there, I don't know who he was talking to," finished Punzel.
"Maybe it's not important," said Anna.
"Nah I think something's fishy."
"Really, we're not at sea," Anna laughed at her own joke.
"I'm confused, are him and Jack enemies?" Wondered Merida.
Elsa shrugged, "Maybe."
"Okay how bout this," said Punzel, with an idea. "We'll go to Britney's Mall and see if they're there."
"And then what?" asked Merida with enthusiasm.
"We'll spy on them and find out something, anything."
"I don't think it's a good idea," Elsa disapproved.
"Don't worry, while you and Jack are having your lunch date, we will be at the mall with the boys."
Elsa still did not feel easy about this plan.
"And you could ask Jack while you're with him."
Elsa let out a sigh but nodded.

Jack pressed the door bell three times as he waited in front of Elsa's doorstep. He was planning to take Elsa to dinner but Elsa just wanted to have lunch first. He's been rich his whole life, now he was trying to live at Elsa's level. He thought it would be easy but boy, Elsa was making it hard for him.
The door opened revealing Elsa in a simple outfit. That's one thing he love about her, always simple.
"Hi," Elsa smiled.
"Hey snowflake," Jack grinned as he sees her annoyed look.
"Snowflake? What gave you the idea?"
Jack shrugged. "Your hair."
"So I should dye it then."
"No no..."
"I'm kidding," Elsa giggled at Jack's silliness. She went over to him and kissed his cheek. "Better?"
"Yep," Jack gestured for Elsa to take his arm so she did.
"Bye you two love birds!" Came Anna's voice from the doorway. "And have fun...but not too much fun!"
Jack glanced at Anna with a raised eyebrow. "Ignore her," said Elsa.
Jack opened the door for Elsa and watched as she got in. "Thank you."
Jack looked up when a vehicle came and parked behind them.
"What are you guys doing here?" Jack questioned Hiccup as he came out.
"We're here to take the girls to...where again?" Hiccup gazed at Flynn for an answer.
"The mall," came Flynn's reply. He went over and hugged Punzel as she came over to them.
"Let me guess," said Jack with a smirk. "He asked you both to tag along."
''Forced is the word," said Kristoff irritably.
Jack chuckled. "Later dudes, I'm going."
After Jack and Elsa drove away, the boys gazed over to the girls. "So mind telling us what's happening?" asked Flynn.
"We'll tell you guys on the way," promised Punzel. They hopped in the car and Hiccup drove them to Britney's mall.

"So where are we going?" Elsa asked Jack as soon as they crossed the bridge.
"To the city park," Jack said as he turned to the left.
Elsa gave him a look. "They're many parks here, where to?"
"Huh I think it's called, Family's picnic...no I must have got it wrong."
"Jack!"
"Okay fine, it's a surprise so I'm not going to tell you."
Elsa frowned. "That's the one thing I hate about surprises."
"You'll love it."

After parking the car, everyone rushed into the building.
"Well where are they?" Merida questioned Punzel as soon as they came up to the second floor.
Punzel looked around her. "I don't know."
Merida mentally face palmed. "I thought you thought this through!"
"I'm sorry I didn't hear the exact location!" Punzel argued back.
"Guys calm down," Anna came in between the girls. "They could be anywhere, we just have to spot them."
"It'll take hours looking for them in this big building," said Merida with a scowl.
"Look let's just go to each section," suggested Punzel.
The boys who were behind them just watched the girls in amusement. "I'm confused, are you three going to do shopping or just looking for the rebels?" questioned Kristoff, his voice filled with a hint of sarcasm.
The girls turned their heads to him. "Both," they said.
"This is just tiring," whined Flynn, he put both of his hands behind his head while Punzel was sending him a glare.
"We wouldn't have to do this if you three just tell us what's the deal with Jack and Jim," snapped Punzel.
"Its not in our place to tell you," Flynn raised his hands in defence. ''This is Jack's story to tell."
All three girls groaned and gave their backs to them. "As for your punishment you'll be helping us with shopping and boy its going to be a lot." The three girls laughed while walking over to the dresses section.
Flynn and Kristoff glanced at each other. "Women," Hiccup muttered as they followed the girls.

Elsa played with the hem of her skirt while looking at the darkness. Jack had blindfolded her, telling her to wait so he would set up the surprise. It was 20 minutes ago and now she was just sitting down, feeling bored to death.
"Jack, are you done yet?" Elsa called out. She waited for his reply. "Jack?" Still there was no reply. She felt a bit uneasy, thinking maybe Jack had left her. She removed the blindfold, but then she wished she hadn't because right in from of her was a beautiful sight. In front of her was the blue sea. There were some boats and she could see some people swimming. The cool breeze blew her hair making her shiver. Elsa turned around and saw...
Elsa gasped and stared in awe. Jack had put a mat at the back of the vehicle with four pillows, a picnic basket, a tray of watermelons, two bottles of cokes and a vast of sunflowers.
"Do you like it?" She jumped slightly at Jack's voice behind her. She turned and smiled lovingly at him.
"I love it!"
Jack grinned, "I'm glad."
"No one has ever done this for me before."
"Maybe because you've never had a boyfriend," said Jack coyly. He took her hand and led her to the vehicle.
