Finally, i am updating. How has the torture been😁. EVERYONE STAY SAFE IF THE HURRICANE IS NEAR YOU. LUCKILY IT WONT COME TO LONDON ALTHOUGH THERE WILL BE A LOT OF WIND. AGAIN STAY SAFE AND I LOVE ALL OF YOU GUYS VERY MUCH.

Adrien was nervous. Soon it was time. After their first dance, everyone had went to the banquet hall to eat. A large feast was taking place. However, no matter how much Adrien loved to eat, he couldn't seem to enjoy any of the food on front of him.

Marinette noticed this.
"Adrien, why aren't you eating?"
"Huh? Oh sorry Mari. I am just really tired."
"What if I feed you?"
"I would love that."

Marinette leaned a little towards him to get the food. For starters, everyone was having some Marinette Soup. She dipped some bread into the soup and put it into Adrien's mouth.
"Mmmmmm."
"See, you loved it."
She carried on feeding her and sometimes he fed her.
Soon, he forgot about worrying about the thing in his pocket.

The rest of the feast went by quickly with giggling and fun. Everyone else was pleased to see that their new rulers were not too strict either.

After everyone had finished eating Marinette gave her speech to her people.

Adrien's POV

"Hi everyone. I just want to say, first of all, that it is an honour to be the princess of one of the largest and most well known countries in the world. I know it will be hard and stressful at times but it will be worth it if I get to protect and see the smiles of everyone in China. A few years ago, if you told me that I would conquer my nerves of this coronation, I would of thought you were playing with me. I can't wait to work with you all in peace and make sure that everyones problems will be heard. With Prince Adrien, Lady Alya and Lord Nino, we will make sure that China will be the safe place you all have imagined. Thank you."
Everyone clapped for her and I almost teared up. That's the Marinette I know and love.

"Finally, its time for the final exclusive event before the closing song. Its the Prince's special speech. The one I am really excited about."

Its time for the Prince to stand up right?

I AM THE PRINCE.
OH NO NO NO.

This is the part I was dreading yet I was excited about.

I look to Marinette and she smiles at me reassuringly.

I stand up and walk to the stage Mari had recently come from.

This is the moment I have been waiting for.

"Hello. I just want to say, there are two parts to this speech. Here goes the first part.
Well, what can I say that Mari hasn't already said. She is right. All four of us will make sure that everyone is safe and protected. We want all of our people to feel good about themselves. That is why we feel good. We know we have done something right if we see all your amazing faces smiling. That is an important thing. It is an honour becoming the Prince of China and one day, the king. Sone people may think I just want the money. But no. I have enough money. Money can't buy me any happiness. However, seeing Mari and everyone else can. That is why I want to donate money to every orphanage, hospital and charity there is. Just to see your smiling faces."
I stopped there and everyone roared in applause.
I walked to Marinette and grabbed her hand gently making her stand up. I lead her through the crowd to get back to the stage.
It was the perfect scene for what I was about to do. Rose petals scattered on the floor. A flower background. Just how I had imagined the next part to go.

"I am not finished yet. I did say there were two parts to my speech."
I looked at Marinette who just looked confused. I smiled.

"Mari. I wanted to do this now to let everyone know you are mine. So here it goes.
Marinette du pain cheng. You are the sun in my day. The moon in my night. The smile that makes up my dreams and the that one special rose in a bouquet. What I am saying all comes from my very soul, not my mind. You are the most beautiful girl I could ever have and sometimes I wonder if I am worthy of you. I couldn't ask for anyone more intelligent or just simply as sweet as you. I want to wake up everyday with you beside me and I want you to be mine forever."
I could see her slowly processing everything I was saying. She was smiling. That beautiful smile I want to see for the rest of my days. I let go of one of her hands and reached into my pocket to get a red velvet box out.
"So what I am asking is.."
I bent down on one knee and I heard people gasp. It didn't matter. Right now, it was just her. I heard her gasp as I opened the box to reveal a rose gold ring decorated with intricate flowers and diamonds.

"Will you, Marinette du pain cheng, Marry me. It doesn't have to be too soon. Maybe in a ye-"
"YES YES. I WILL. OF COURSE I WILL." She jumped up and down with glee and then stopped as I took out the ring. She let me take her hand and put the ring on her ring finger.
She then hugged me and I kissed her forehead slightly chuckling.

She said yes. SHE SAID YES.

"I know its not too compli-"
"Adrien. Its the most beautiful thing I have ever seen."
"Really?"
"Really."

Today is the best day ever and is finally the end of our coronation.
Now, all I wanna do is sleep next to my girlf-no wait, my fiancee.
