4: The Prince's Demand

It was Jimin's day to get to know the prince and he wasn't looking forward to it in the slightest. He was only doing this because he loved Taehyung and just wanted to get out of this place.

Jungkook insisted they sit in his room, which didn't make Jimin feel any better. Every time they were around each other, all the prince wanted to do was look at his ass. It was degrading if you asked him. Today wasn't any different. "You want me to do what?"

"Sit with me."

"No no NO! That's not what you said the first time. You asked me to sit on your lap!"

"Is there a difference?"

Jimin sighed. "Just get close to him," He thought to himself. "Then you can grab the wand and forget all about this freaky place!"

He was hesitant, especially with the lustful look the prince was giving him, but he didn't seem to have much of a choice. "F-Fine..." Jungkook grinned happily, spreading his legs and waiting patiently. Jimin just groaned and marched over. Slowly but surely, he placed himself on the prince's lap with another sigh, swinging his legs to the prince's left with his arms crossed and back facing Jungkook.

Almost immediately, Jungkook grabbed him, making the smaller man squeak. Jungkook just chuckled as he traced Jimin's chest, working his way further and further down. "You're such a pretty boy~" He whispered in Jimin's ear. He lowered his face onto his neck, beginning to run his lips across, causing the blonde to flinch.

"Wait wait WAIT!" Jimin practically screeched. "What do you think you're doing?"

"Is it not clear?"

"Uh yeah, a little too clear! Come on! Maybe...I don't know, wait for my permission?"

Jungkook smirked. "Now where's the fun in that?"

"It's not about fun, it's about consent!" With a huff, he jumped off Jungkook's lap and opted to just sit next to him. The prince just looked away as he grumbled with disapproval. "Oh be quiet! Not everything's about you!" Jimin scolded.

"I beg your pardon?"

"You heard me! Think about how I feel for once! These past few days have sucked because all you want to do is touch my ass! Just like now. Five seconds in you were already on me! Did you not think about how I must feel about that? God, you're so fucking inconsiderate!"

Jungkook just sat there in silence. He examined the hurt and annoyance in Jimin's eyes. It made his heart clench. It was a feeling he hadn't experienced in a long time. He wasn't lying to Taehyung when he told him no one corrected him these days. Jimin telling him off was the last thing he expected. "I...I apologise..." He didn't like knowing he made his Hyung feel like this.

"Y-You...what?" The blonde turned back to Jungkook, just to make sure he heard him correctly.

"I'm used to other's just handing me what I want, and with you continuously denying me my pleasures, it just made me more persistent. I understand that you are indeed a living being with feelings I should put into consideration. So...please accept my sincerest apologies."

"Huh, wow. I didn't expect you to apologise. I didn't even know if you knew what the word 'sorry' meant."

"I'm not heartless!" Jungkook said with a scoff. "Besides when you make that face it makes me feel...odd. S-So never do it again!"

Jimin felt his face heat up. The little pout Jungkook did was adorable! Jimin had to remember that he was still young, no younger than him in fact. There was still some empathy left in him. "Right well...apology accepted."

"Really?" He looked at Jimin with big eyes, giving him a bright bunny smile. "Does that mean I've won the right to your body?" And just like that, the cuteness was gone and all Jimin did was groan. "I jest! I jest!"

"Really? I don't believe that for a second bunny." Jimin told him, raising his brow.

"Bunny? Why are you comparing me to a rabbit?"

Jimin shook his head. "No, a bunny. There's a difference."

"Elaborate."

"Well, one is uh...cute..."

"So by referring to me as a 'bunny' you've in turn called me...oh" Jungkook hid his face in his hands, not wanting Jimin to see the blush creep across his face. No, it was meant to be the other way around! Jungkook wasn't going to let this man get the better of him.

"Yah! Don't think about it too much! You'll make it weird!" Nevermind Jungkook, Jimin could feel his own cheeks begin to burn. There was no way he could actually fall for him, was there?

"Jimin...I have a request..."

"Oh? A request instead of a demand? What is it?"

"May I..." He moved closer to him, making Jimin flinch once again. Jungkook slowly moved his legs onto his Hyung's. He placed himself comfortably on his lap and grinned. It was definitely on odd request, but at least he asked this time. Jimin had to admit, he preferred this much more to Jungkook's constant attempt at 'topping' him. He felt much more in control here. "You know...," Jimin starts slowly. "Taehyung would be pretty upset if he saw us like this."

"Oh? And why is that?"

"He gets jealous."

"Is that so?" He swung his legs behind Jimin and wrapped his arms around his neck. "So he wouldn't like it if I did this?"

"No..." Jungkook smirked at the intrigued and somewhat lustful look in Jimin's eyes. So he decided to test his limits a bit. "And he wouldn't like it if I did this?" He bucked his hips forward. Jimin jolted at the sudden sensation but didn't tell the prince to stop.

"D-Definitely not."

-------

Taehyung weaved his way around the building into the dark dungeons of the castle, desperate to check on Yoongi. At first, he wasn't allowed in, but after pulling the "My prince won't be happy when he hears of this!" card, the guards immediately let him past.

It took a bit of searching, and he had to cover his ears to stop himself from listening to prisoners cry out in agony, but he eventually found his hyung in the deeper part of the jail.

"You know Hoseok, I'm surprised at how quickly you accepted I wasn't Agust D," Yoongi told the guard. The two of them were chatting somewhat comfortably, with Yoongi leaning lazily across the cell bars and Hoseok doing the same on the other side. He was the only guard to ever come to this area, so they were free to chat as they pleased without putting up any fronts.

"It was a given after you slept for three days straight. Agust couldn't sit still for more than ten minutes. Let alone sleep for that long. He was always yelling about something, always so active..." He reminisced fondly.

"Ugh, sounds awful." Yoongi chuckled.

"Hyung!" Tae followed the sound of Yoongi's voice and quickly rushed to his cell yet stopped immediately. Hoseok held his sword up to him and put his arm in front of the bars, looking Taehyung dead in the eyes with a glare ready to strike at any moment.

Yoongi's eyes widened and he quickly tried to reassure the guard. "Taehyung? Hoseok it's alright, I know him."

"That's the part that bothers me," Hoseok muttered. "How are you acquainted with the prince's lover?"

"Well, I wouldn't call us lovers- Whoa!" The guard pushed his sword forward with a threatening look. "Okay listen! I came here with Yoongi! I just needed to talk to him!"

Hoseok didn't budge. It wasn't until Yoongi asked him that he finally moved. His eyes didn't leave Taehyung for a second but he didn't seem to notice. The brunette just smiled and rushed over to the bars. "Hyung! I'm so glad you're not dead yet!"

"So am I! You have no idea how thankful I am that you and Jimin have been doing whatever you're doing!" Taehyung could see the relief in Yoongi's eyes. It both saddened and frustrated him knowing he wasn't safe just yet.

"Well it's taking longer than expected, that prince is impossible to get through. But we're making progress." Taehyung examined Yoongi for a moment just to make sure he wasn't injured. It was a little difficult to see, but he noticed something about his appearance.

"Oh! Hyung your hair is silver!" He gently stroked Yoongi's hair. He was right! It was silver, Tae was surprised he didn't notice it before.

Yoongi could hear Hoseok growl at the sight of Taehyung touching him. "Just as possessive in this world as he is in ours." He thought to himself with a smirk. As much as he wanted to tease the guard, Yoongi knew he had more important things to worry about. "Have you two found a way out of here yet?" He asked Taehyung. He let out a sigh of relief when the brunette nodded his head.

"The wand. It got us here so it must be able to get us out!"

"Prince Jungkook's wand?" Hoseok shook his head. "He hasn't let go of that since he came to power. There's no way you will be able to retrieve it."

"That's why Jimin and I are trying to get close to him." Speaking of which, Tae's mind wandered to what Jimin and the prince were doing now. He tried not to get jealous at the prospect of them doing anything intimate and quickly pushed those thoughts away.

Yoongi stuck his tongue out in a jeering manner. "You guys are having threesomes?"

"No!" Taehyung groaned. "God Hyung, get your mind out of the gutter."

"Ugh, whatever. I'm just glad you two are okay. What about Jin Hyung?"

"Not sure yet," Tae said uncertainly. "but he sent me this letter. I just haven't gotten around to reading it."

"Well don't keep me in suspense! Open it already dumbass!" Taehyung just rolled his eyes and finally fished the letter out of his pocket. Reading it aloud, it read:

~Dear Taehyung and Jimin,

I hope things are going well and you two are still alive. I'd be devastated to find out I was writing a letter to a corpse.

I heard Yoongi's execution hasn't happened yet! Whatever you're doing to distract that Prince, keep it up! The moment you get him out tell me, and I'll run there if I have to! I've been worried sick about him. But don't let him know. He'll tease me and I really don't want to deal with that. I just want you all to stay safe and alive.

Alright now onto the most important topic - me. It took me a moment to realise, but I've got purple hair! You know, I didn't think I could get any more handsome, yet here we are! I continue to amaze myself! I might even dye it when we get back.

That is...if we ever get back. As nice as this place is, it's not home. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't terrified. Everything and everyone wants me dead! It's like being a freshman in high school all over again. Not only that but being here is starting to...get to me. I'm not sure how to explain it. The atmosphere of this place is just odd and I don't like it. I feel stricter by the second and everyone treats me like I'm useless. It's torture. As much as I enjoy being pampered even I have my limits. I can't even go to the bathroom without some checking to see if I fell in the toilet by accident.

Tae, I want you to know that I'm never coming back to that damn museum again and that I hope Jimin is making your flat ass sleep on the couch when we get back!

With love,

Jin <3~

"I find that hurtful...I'm not even flat..." Taehyung pouted while Yoongi rolled his eyes at him.

"We're friends with Jimin. Everyone's flat compared to him."

"True, but still mean."

"I don't understand," Hoseok muttered, his brows furrowed in confusion. "Prince Seokjin would never say such things! Agust did you-" He turned to Yoongi with a disapproving look but the second he looked into those eyes he was reminded that this wasn't Agust D. "Nevermind..."

Taehyung glared at the guard. He was tired of hearing the name Agust D. "Jin came here with us." He told him matter of factly. "Plus - You're the fifth person today to jump to say something Yoongi's his fault! You can't just blame him for everything!"

"Actually, they can.." Yoongi groaned.

"What? Why?"

Yoongi frowned at his friend. "Aren't you like a history dork or something? Shouldn't you know this?"

"Leave me alone Hyung, hardly know anything about this place!"

Hoseok interrupts them with a smile. "No need to worry Sir Taehyung, if you so desire, I shall explain everything to you."

Taehyung nodded eagerly, already impatient. "Oh yes please!" Hoseok grinned at how eager he was, whereas Yoongi, once again, just rolled his eyes.

"Agust D is what we call a speed demon. Though there is no essence of demonic power. It just means the faster he chants, the more power he gains, and he was the fastest. I, along with General Namjoon, am also a speed demon. Though both of them are much faster than I. The three of us used to be good friends..."

"So he was a rapper? Cool!"

With a scowl Yoongi reached over and hit Taehyung across the head, earning a whimper from the younger. "No Tae! Not cool!"

"Right right sorry. So, where did it go wrong?"

Hoseok sighed. "The chanting takes quite a while. In battle, you must fight while keeping tempo. Agust, however, found a way around it. He was able to slow down time. That combined with his naturally fast pace practically made him unstoppable. He called it 'tongue technology'." He seemed to cringe at the term. He hated all the memories it brought back.

"It wasn't a problem at first. In fact the rulers of Busan used it to their advantage and took out enemies using his power. But eventually...he grew bored of it. He didn't want to destroy enemies alone, but anyone he found deserved it."

"And that was everyone...?" Yoongi already knew it was a yes.

The guard nodded, his gaze darkening. "Woman, children, animals it didn't matter. If it was in his way it was to be slaughtered! All that time around such twisted royals must've warped his mind. The Agust D I knew and cared for was slowly washed away and replaced with someone who found pleasure in horror!"

Hoseok's delivery began to speed up. "He wasn't the man I used to know! He studied crafty tricks and put his life in danger!" He kept going faster and faster until his words were hardly distinguishable from one another. "Even though heknew Iwas waitingathomeforhimheneversaidawordtome!"

They felt the ground beneath them begin to shake. Taehyung flinched when the torches began to flair and blew out one by one.

"Hoseok!" The guard whipped around sending, suddenly his sword through the cell bars, stopping just before it reached Yoongi's neck. His eyes were glowing with fury. "Why did you chase after more power? Why couldn't you be satisfied!"

"Hyung!" Taehyung called. "Step back!"

Yet Yoongi didn't budge. He looked down at the weapon near his throat and slowly pushed it aside, maintaining eye contact with Hoseok the entire time. "I'm not him," He said carefully. "And even if I was, you wouldn't hurt him either."

"You should've talked to me..." Hoseok choked out. "We could've gone somewhere safe...together..." The pain in his voice was evident and Yoongi knew he needed to calm him down before they got anywhere.

"Sunshine, I'm not Agust." He repeated, still keeping their eyes locked.

"I...Right..." He put his sword down with a sigh, Hoseok's once angry eyes turning soft with dismay. "You're right..."

"Why did he kill those rulers?" The guard turned back around. He had nearly forgotten that Taehyung was even there.

"I could not tell you the exact purpose," He admitted truthfully. "However, I presume it was for revenge and their thrones. With it, comes their magic once the original user is dead."

The brunette taps his chin in thought, thinking of reasons why Agust did what he did. "Maybe he couldn't get Busan in time," he started. "Which must've been why he went for Gwacheon instead! If he could get Prince Seokjin out the way, then the throne would be up for grabs! That's why he kidnapped him! Smart..."

"NO! NOT SMART!" Yoongi smacks him once again. "Did you forget I'm going to DIE because of this guy?"

"Ah...Right...I nearly forgot about that..."

"HOW? Kim Taehyung I swear-"

"Yoongi, please," Hoseok said focussing a disappointed look towards the silver-haired male. "You must have restraint."

Yoongi only scoffed. "Says the one who nearly brought the building down and just got done pointing a sword at my neck." As if he had any right to tell him to 'have restraint'.

"He didn't mean it, Hyung!"

"Doesn't take away from the fact that he did it." Hoseok looked away in shame. He didn't mean to lose his temper, in fact he rarely does. It's just that when it comes to Agust he couldn't seem to control himself. Yoongi didn't want to hurt Hoseok anymore than Agust already had and looked at him apologetically. "It's alright sunshine. I just..." He let out a shaky breath "I just don't want to die sooner than I have to."

"Yoongi..."

Taehyung sensed it was his time to go and looked around awkwardly. "I should go check on Jimin. Hyung please, let us know if you need anything."

----------

Taehyung sprinted to the prince's bedroom, eager to talk with Jimin and tell him what he learned.

The moment he came in, however, Jimin and Jungkook instantly moved away from each other. Taehyung eyed them suspiciously. He raised his brow at Jimin's flustered face. His shirt was halfway off and Jungkook's neck had a few bite marks and bruises and Taehyung couldn't help but glare at them. "Did you seriously-"

"NO! Of course not!" The prince looked amused by the somewhat frantic tone of Jimin's voice. He also enjoyed the seething look of disapproval in Taehyung's eyes and wanted to see how far he edge them on.

"What's wrong Taehyung? Is that jealousy I see?" Jimin stiffened at the dark look his roommate gave him, whereas Jungkook practically leaned forward with an eager grin on his face. Taehyung waltzed over and grabbed Jimin's chin, pulling him towards his face.

"Normally I wouldn't be too happy about this," He said in a deep and sultry tone. Satoori. Jimin's weakness. "But I need to do something first."

He let go of Jimin's face and headed over to the desk. Taehyung pulled out a few pieces of paper and a quill then began writing. Both men behind him looked equally as confused. "Um...Hyung?" said Jungkook with a bit of a pout. "The whips are in the closet."

"Sorry my prince, you'll have to wait just a bit. I'll whip you later." The prince just frowned and muttered his annoyances under his breath. He was extremely disappointed he didn't get to see Taeyhung's anger.

Jimin, meanwhile, had the opposite reaction. "WAIT, WHIPS! NO! Don't do that! SINCE WHEN?"

"I'm always ready for a good whip..." Jungkook mumbled, still pouting. Jimin scowled at the prince. He nearly smacked him across the head, but just rolled his eyes instead.

"What are you writing anyway?"

"A letter to Jin." A smile spread across Jungkook's face as he rushed over to Taehyung. Jimin followed behind, although not as excited. "Ew, who even writes letters anymore?"

The other two just ignored his comment. Jungkook had lit up at the mention of Jin and his excitement didn't go unnoticed by the others. Especially since Jungkook clung to Taehyung's chair and began to bounce up and down like a kid in a candy store. "Hyung, may I help? Prince Seokjin is a good friend of mine and I would like to speak to him!"

"Oh, sure!" Taehyung grinned and handed him the quill. "By the way Jimin, here," He fished Jin's letter out of his pocket and handed it to the smaller man. "Don't let Jungkook read it"

"PARDON?"

--------------------

Dear Prince Seokjin,

I hope this letter finds you in good health. I mean that genuinely. News spread about your "interaction" with Namjoon and I must applaud you. In the future, however, best try and keep your voice down. Word says every citizen in Gwacheon could hear! Which I thoroughly believe. I know you've got the voice of a dragon deep in there.

I merely hope you still retain the ability to walk or even speak. Knowing how you and Namjoon can be, I can only presume you've kept neither.

This is Tae. That first part was Jungkook. Don't worry, I'm not letting him read the rest. So...You had sex? Congrats, I think? You beat us to it. Pretty sure the prince and Jimin nearly got there though.

Anyways, I'm not too sure how much longer Yoongi will last. Physically, or mentally for that matter. But I'm just glad he's alive. The person guarding him is this world's version of Hoseok. I think he's the only thing keeping Yoongi sane.

You should come to Busan! I'm not really asking...You seem to be the only thing that makes Jungkook smile. Well, that's not true. Turns out he finds satisfaction in torturing and the dismembering of enemies and traitors but at this point, I'm wondering what royal doesn't.

Hey, this is Jimin! I want you to know that I'm DIDN'T have sex with the prince! And just for him saying that Taehyung's flat ass is sleeping on the floor!

With much love,

~Taeminkook

Namjoon furrowed his brow at the signature. "Taeminkook?"

"Ignore that," Jin sighed. "Jimin probably just didn't want to write all their names out. Lazy ass. It's just nice to know they're still functioning though. Yoongi though..."

"Yoongi? You mean Agust-"

"His name is Yoongi." He said firmly. "Say it right or don't say it at all."

The knight was quick to bow apologetically. "My apologies." He was still testing the waters with Jin. He seemed to have less patience for the more strange aspects of the world, which Namjoon understood. Yet he had been snapping a lot recently. Small things seemed to set him off and it worried Namjoon. It reminded him of the attitude of the previous two rulers and he didn't like it one bit.

"Honestly, I'm so tired of hearing that name." Sighing, Jin handed the letter off to Namjoon. With a groan, he tried to get off the throne but didn't get very far though and nearly fell back down.

"Hold on, let me help." Joon hastily grabbed Jin and held him, supporting him upwards which his Hyung was thankful for.

"Thank you. I didn't expect you to break my legs yesterday." Jin was somewhat fond of the memory. It was so unexpected, but he didn't mind in the slightest.

"It wasn't my intention to get carried away! Please forgive me Prince Seokjin." Namjoon bowed once again however this time, Jin stopped him.

"No no, it's alright. And please, just Jin is fine. You know Joon, you're a real nice guy, but you're scary as hell when you go all dom." He cracked a small smile in an attempt to reassure him.

"Is...Is that a compliment?"

Jin shrugged. "Take it as you will. So, where's Beomgyu? He's my assistant right?"

"Here! I'm here!" The young man came running up the stairs and immediately dropped to one knee once he got up to the throne, seemingly out of breath. "Please excuse my tardiness!"

Jin raised his brow at him. "You're excused. And why were you so late?"

"There's been a-!"

The sound of a loud horn came from a distance. Both Namjoon and Jin stood on full alert. Beomgyun rushed to his feet as well. They could feel the ground tremble beneath them, the sound of screams following behind. "Beomgyun, escort the prince to safety!" Namjoon commanded.

Jin could hear the guards being taken down from outside. It made him furious. "No!" He stated firmly. "I want to see who dared to invade us!" Jin growled, his eyes beginning to light up.

"Don't be unreasonable Seokjin! You need to go now-"

BAM! The front doors flew open inviting in a massive gust of wind and dirt. Namjoon and Beomgyun stood protectively in front of Jin as they summoned their weapons - Namjoon's being a staff and Beomgyun a sword.

All sounds came to a halt. Arising from the dust was a group of eight men, all dressed in similar white garments. Each holding weapons and confident grins on their distorted faces. Their movements were stiff as if they were possessed, their white and lifeless eyes glared at the prince, boring deep into his soul.

"Ateez...."

A man with short, dark blue hair stepped forward. Their leader. "Heyyy Namjoon," Hongjoong said casually as he leaned against his massive sword. It was nearly the size of his body and looked as though it could cut through someone in an instant.

All of Ateez were equally as cocky and judging by the annoyed look on Jin's face, they were surely in for it.

"We figured princey was still out of commission." Seonghwa smirked. San leaned against him twirling his dagger with a chuckle. "But it seems like he came back! And with a whole new attitude too!"

The lack of care the gang had was irritating. "It's amazing what just a few days with a criminal can do!" Jongho continued. Yunho snickered in agreement. His grin only widened when he saw the expression on Jin's face. "Oh, would you look at that everyone! Princey doesn't look very pleased! Are you going to run to the maids?"

The gang chuckled at the way Jin stood there with his arms crossed and disdain on his face. Yet he didn't see what was so comical.

The laughter came to a swift halt when Yeosang went flying backwards. They could practically feel the impact as his body cracked against the wall. Slowly, Ateez looked towards Jin. One by one he struck all of them down with a flash of purple light.

He gazed down at them with a stone cold glare, like they were nothing but pests. All tried but none could move. The pain from Jin's lashes was too much to bear. Namjoon and Beomgyun stood at the ready as Jin descended down the stairs that led to the throne. Both of them holding their breaths.

"I don't know who you think you are. Barging in here, making a mess and then having the audacity to insult me!" He grabbed Hongjoong by the face and harshly yanked him in his direction. "Stand up!"

The rest of Ateez slowly rose to their feet. Jin pulled Hongjoong up by his neck, practically choking him the entire time.

"Low-level pest," Jin sneered. "Kneel."

Mingi looked at him in disbelief. "Pardon?" Hongjoong could see him reaching for his weapon and he signalled him to stand down.

"KNEEL!" They didn't waste any time and bent to one knee. Jin looked at them with satisfaction before his hand lit up yet again and sent out a powerful wave of magic knocking them all back down. He continued to hold Hongjoong and tightened his grip.

"Now, what do we say?" Jin asked in a sickly sweet voice.

Hongjoong could hardly get a word out at how hard Jin was holding him. "M-My sinc-c-erest a-a-apolog-gies my p-prince!"

"Prince?" Jin scowled. Carelessly, he dropped Hongjoong on the ground, watching with amusement as he gasped for air. "I was looking for king. You need to learn some respect."

A dark purple glow emitted from Jin's hand once again then flew out in the form of a whip. Each lash Hongjoong got was more painful than the last, sending a powerful wave of electricity through his shaking body and the rest of Ateez knew they were next.

Both Beomgyun and Namjoon stood there in shock. They could practically feel the pain, and Hongjoong's agonising cries were almost too much to stand. The satisfaction on Jin's face as he ripped through the intruder's skin was disturbing to see. "W-What happened to the prince?" The younger asked, clutching his sword and holding it close to him in fear.

Namjoon could only watch as Jin personally tormented each of the gang members. There was no remorse in his eyes. "I'm...I'm not sure..."

Oooooh wow, this one was 4,000 words! Congrats if you made it through all that, I didn't expect it to be so long 😅. I watched ATEEZ's Halloween cover of Wonderland and went "Oh yeah, they're going in this book." And here we are. They high key looked like they could kill me and I immediately knew I wanted it in the story.
