Personality: Marcellus is very much like his dad, as he is quick to anger and thinks with his rage and lust for bloodshed. Even a paper cut gets him excited. He'd protect others without a second thought, however, so being the son of the god of war has its perks.
Opinion on the Selection: He's one hundred percent certain it'll be very interesting.
Other: Marcellus loves hand to hand combat but does prefer a spear or sword over brute strength.

Town/City: Crete, which is actually an island off the mainland.
Personality: Melissa is a very serious person, with a personality that says "I bite hard if you hurt those I love". She was raised on the island of Crete, but raised to worship the gods, especially Ares/Mars if that wasn't immediately obvious by her last name. She knows about the details of the selection and that whoever is chosen by one of the selecting gods will ascend to godhood with them. She's loyal to a fault but isn't afraid to take shortcuts to get what she wants.
Background: As stated before, Melissa was raised in Crete. She was raised alone by her father after the age of eleven, along with her brother who was a baby at the time. She was raised, again as stated before, to worship the god of war, despite living a peaceful life on a honey farm. She honestly can't wait for the selection so she can meet Ares' son. She was self-taught in how to defend herself in case something happened while she was alone anywhere.
