The first stop for Ash was Lumiose City. Ash waltzed right into the gym, having probably over 56 badges. He was here to get his friend Clemont Nye the Science Guy and his little sister, Bonnie, to help him.

"Hey," said Ash. "I need both of your help. My mom and Professor Oak got kidnapped by one of my old friends." Clemont looked slightly nervous, but Bonnie looked confused.

"If they were your friend, why'd they kidnap two people that mean a lot to you?" Asked Bonnie.

"Well, at the start of my journey I borrowed her bike. It got struck by lightning and was destroyed. She started following me around demanding a new bike. It seems she hasn't forgotten..." Ash replied all dramatically. Clemont and Bonnie agreed to help Ash save his mom and the Professor.
