Ash as finally back in Kanto. Instead of doing what author-chan wants, he went to his home in Pallet Town.

"Sure is great to be back home, buddy." Ash said to Pikachu, who was sitting on his shoulder.

"Pika pika." He said. Ash smiled and continued walking. They finally made to Ash's house.

"Mom! I'm home!" Ash shouted. But his mom didn't respond. He thought that was kind of weird. Suddenly, Gary ran into the house.

"Ash! Something terrible has happened!" Gary yelled.

"What"

"Gramps and your mom got kidnapped! We should look around for some kind of clue or something." Said Gary. Ash was shook. He walked into the kitchen and found a note on the table.

Dear Ash,

I still need that bike you owe me. Bring me the bike in exchange for your mom and Professor Oak.

Your former friend, Misty.

Ash was double shook. Why would Misty do something like this? He realized that there was only one thing left to do. Eat some food. He was really hungry after walking all the way home.

Later...

After eating he picked up some of his Pokémon from Professor Oak's lab. He wasn't planing on using all of them, he just figured that after the word got out that the Professor was gone people would come to steal Pokémon. Gary ran to catch up with Ash.

"Wait! My grandpa got kidnapped too! I should go with you!" Gary yelled.

"No." Said Ash. And with that he skedaddled on over to the Kalos region.
