He didn't expect anything that would happen today.

He didn't expect to open his door the next day to find Kabir uncle with a very flustered and red eyes Ziva. As much as he was desperate to meet her after the outburst from the day earlier, he wasn't expecting them here.

The next thing that happened was Kabir uncle dropping the bomb right on him.

That he was getting married, right now. He didn't expect Kabir uncle to be so excited for his marriage or maybe he was excited for her marriage. But, as much as he was creating the base of this show, Kabir uncle went ten steps ahead of him.

He didn't even know what happen because one minute they were trying to explain to Kabir uncle why they don't want to get married and the next moment he was waiting for his wife.

His wife.

He must have repeated it a couple of times because he still couldn't believe it. Somehow, everyone from his families was here. It was a small nikkah in one of the mosque and the paper were taken by Kabir to for official process.

But, he has a wife. No, his enemy is his wife now.

Then it happened.

One minute he was denying the reality as he waited in the empty room for her. The next moment she opens the door trying to walk properly in the dress that she was wearing.

This must be the first time he ever saw her in traditional dress. He could have sworn his heart did some kind of tricks on him.

He held his breath when she raises her head looking at him.

She is beautiful. She is a beautiful woman.

He can see why the women of his family said that he won't stay with her. Even though he saw right through her anxiety he knew his family would be at their best behaviour.

"What are you hiding?" He asked when he saw she was hiding her hands behind her back and moving back and forth on her legs

She looks adorable.

"Come on". He cooed as she stopped a little away from him and he didn't like the little distance

She huffed and brought her hand towards him. His eyes narrowed at her hand for a second before it registered what she was hiding from him.

She had henna on her hand.

Her hands wasn't full of it yet. He knows his family and traditions enough to know his family will fill her hands completely in the marriage function that he knows for a fact will follow shortly and this was just a teaser for him. He would like to add that this teaser certainly did what it intended.

His brain has to be malfunctioning because there is no logic as to why he reaches out his hand slowly and gently takes her hand in his hand.

"Why were you hiding it?"

"Look, I told them not to do it multiple times. I said that it can be a problem within the hospital. But they told and even showed me that this is organic henna. They said it won't be a problem. Don't be mad at me". He noticed she was nervous because her hands were super cold

His daze eyes looks back at her hand and he was caressing the henna with his thumb.

"Mad?" He said lowly, "I am not mad". He observe the beautiful pattern of flowers on her hands (he held her other hand with his free hand), and he knows the beauty of this henna is only because she is the one wearing it, "Definitely not mad, meri jaan". (My life)

She held her breath when she heard his endearment. There was no way he was calling her that. Right? Cause he hates her. He had said so mutiple times. Then why was he gazing at her hands and holding them so gently. She wasn't even afraid of his touch because he made sure his intention were delivered to her before he took her hand. He waited for a beat for her to pull back and then went for her hand.

She would be lying she if she said she wasn't hoping for his touch. This was this feeling building inside her that she thought was anxiety when she was around the women of B5. Yet, as the time passes she found those women were genuinely amazing. Each one was super attentive and made sure she was having fun.

Fun wasn't ever in her vocabulary. Those women pampered her to next level. She didn't deserve it. She knows. But, she couldn't help herself. She longed to belongs and with those ladies laughing and cheering around her, she felt warm.

Her anxiety wasn't even anxiety. It was anticipation. She heard those elder women life stories and they were all amazing. She didn't hear her husband parents stories since they got busy. She didn't know if he wants her to know too. It was good she didn't hear anything because he would be mad.

Now, as she stands in front of him and his gaze burning into her flesh she could hear the loud sound of her heartbeat. She was sure it was a panic attack for a moment by how loud her heart was beating. Yet, she knew it was something different.

She was a married woman. She was married the man who hates her.

This could possibly be the most dramatic change that happened in the last decade of her life. The small part of her was cheering her on only because she knows under normal circumstances she will never marry anyone. She wouldn't even consider being near a man much less marry one. The part of her was cheering her to enjoy this (even if it's fake) for now. Just to give in and let it happen. Because this was truly a one time experience for her.

She held her breath when he steps a little closer to her. She waited for the panic to settle into her and waited for her mind to fog as it usually does when men are this close to her.

It didn't.

She felt a change sense of calmness when his scent washing over her. His scent was just as strong as him and she felt drunk. It was almost something she wants to lean in.

She tried taking a step back and he frowns at her action which halted her steps.

Instead he wrapped his hands around her pulling her closer and she felt her heart leaping out of her chest.

He leans down, "They are watching us".

She stilled at his words. Because she thought he was actually caring for her. She gulped to keep herself from doing or saying anything as he held her. The only issue was that he kept pulling her closer. She was plastered against his chest and yet she heard a grunt of dissatisfaction from him. As if he wanted her closer than this and when she imagined that, she felt her breathing hitched.

He nuzzles his nose in her neck and she tries hard to remember this was all for the show and nothing else. She had a hard time believing he was this good at acting. Because right now even when she knows he is acting she couldn't help the small flutter of her heart.

Because his fingers were on her lower waist. He kept caressing her over her clothes and these small actions aren't something for the show. They can't be.

She heard a knock and she tried to pull back but he only let her turn in his arms to look at the person standing on the door.

His parents.

His hand tightened around her and he stiffened. Maybe he was going back to their argument from yesterday. She tried to create some distance between them and move away. However, he had a steel grip on her and she couldn't move without making it obvious.

"You look so beautiful". His mother said in awe of them, "I love watching you two together. You look perfect. Isn't that right, Usman?"

His father nodded with a warm look he sends at them, "I never imagined to see my son getting married".

"Right. He was always allergic to human". His mother laughs as she leans in his father arms, "We have lunch ready for your marriage celebration downstairs. You should come before it gets too cold".

She nodded, "Of course. I will join now".

She tried moving out of his grip to leave with them. But he wouldn't let go. She started to feel suffocated because his body was radiating anger. She hates anger. It scares her.

"I am going to go with your mother". She smiled tightly at him and he gazes down at her without any expression

"No".

One word. His mother giggle and she imagines it looks romantic to her. Maybe she thinks her son doesn't want to let go of his new bride.

It wasn't the case. His eyes were narrowed at her. There was darkness and anger brimming in them. She tried to take a deep breath yet she felt the need to run away. Her heart was beating loudly and her hands were getting numb.

"We will wait for you". She heard the door close and she immediately pushed him away

She bends a little to catch her breath and she felt the need to slap him.

"What is your problem?" She whisper shouted, "I didn't even say or do anything. I wasn't the one who suggested this marriage".

His eyes darkened as he steps closer to her and she straightened only to find that she was leaning against the wall. Before she could step away his arms came out and cage her in between the wall.

He leans down and her heart spike, "You know what my problem is?" He leans forward and she felt her heart stop, "You. You are my problem. And you know what I do with my problem? I destroy them".
