Mike's eyes were wide with amazement. His best friend... the person he loves... is a werewolf, just like him. "Whoa... My best friend is a werewolf. That is even more awesome!" He said. "Hehe. Yeah, it is..." Scott said. "But, I have one question. Why didn't you tell me this earlier?" Mike asked. "Well, I thought you wouldn't understand." Scott relied. Mike chuckled. "Silly. We're best friends. Of course I would understand." He said, a goofy smile on his face. Scott blushed. He couldn't resist Mike being adorable like this. Then, the queen cleared her throat. "Um... Nothing wrong with you guys standing around and talking, but, we sort of need to start training." She said. "Yes, your majesty." Scott and Mike said, bowing. "Follow me." Scott said, motioning Mike to follow him. Mike nodded and followed him out of the throne room. The queen looked at them, worried. "I hope nothing goes wrong." She thought.

Mike and Scott walked out of castle and walked down a stone path where flower petals fluttered from the trees and onto the path. Some of them got on Mike as he smiled. "Wow... It's just like a fairy tale." He thought. "Okay... the queen directed me to show you around the whole campus. So, I think first off, we'll start with outer boundaries." Scott explained. "Outer boundaries?" Mike asked. "Here. I'll show you." Scott said. The two continued to walk down the path until they arrived at an area where Mike noticed it was a little darker. "Whoa, what's up with the lighting?" He asked. "Ah, just for training." Scott replied. Mike looked up and saw a huge building in the distance. "Hey, Scott. What is that?" He asked, pointing to the building. "Like I said, Mike, training." Scott replied. "So, I'm training so I can stop the vampires from slaughtering our own kind?" Mike asked. "I'm surprised you figured it out so fast, but aren't you at least a little bit curious about what happened?" Scott asked. "Well, now that you mention it, yeah, I am curious." Mike replied. "Well, a few thousand years ago, us werewolves and vampires lived in peace. But, they aren't your average vampires. You know, not like the sparkly ones in Twilight and stuff like that. They are the blood sucking vampires." Scott explained. "Ah, the ones that stay true to mythology." Mike commented. "They became traitors to our kind. They made allies with mortals and came after us." Scott said. "Was there any reason why?" Mike asked. "No reason was known." Scott replied.

"Wow, you guys must be really pissed." Mike said. "Hehe. You bet we are. So, we seek revenge." Scott said. "Revenge?" Mike asked. "The vampires and werewolves have been in an all out, nonstop war ever since it happened. Three thousand years to be precise, in a few months. So, on the night of the three thousand anniversary, the biggest war will take place." Scott said, grimly. "W-Wow..." Mike had no words to say. "Yes. We must prepare you." Scott said. "So, I really am destined to stop the vampires. I mean, the backstory is cool and all, but... I'm a little nervous of what's gonna happen." Mike said. "It's okay, Mike. No matter what happens, I'll be here to protect you." Scott said. Mike smiled. "Thank you, Scott." He said. "You're welcome, Mike." Scott said, smiling back. "So, shall we move on?" Scott said, holding out his hand. Mike nodded and took his hand. The two of them continued down the path to the campus.
