Mike walked into the school as usual. The other students are chatting away at whatever they're talking about and doing things he had no interest in doing. I see I made it early... He thought. He looked to his left and saw Scott, standing at his locker. He smiled and walked up to him. "Hey, Scott." He said. "Hey, Mike." Scott said, smiling back. "I see I made it early for once." Mike said. "Hehehe. Yeah." Scott said. Mike looked around and he didn't see Victoria and her group. "Gee, no visit from Victoria and her group." He said. "Surprisingly, no." Scott said. "Heh, well, that's a first." Mike said. Then, they heard high heels clacking towards them. Mike knew he spoke a little too soon...

"I heard someone call my name."

Mike gritted his teeth and looked at Victoria. Her obnoxious voice is already starting to piss him off. "No one wants to talk to you, Victoria." He said, trying to keep his cool. "Shut up, Mike! I wasn't talking to you. I was talking to Scott." Victoria said, looking at Scott. He blushed. "Uh... Me?" Scott said, pointing at himself. "Yes, you. I never realized how cute you are." Victoria said, walking closer to Scott. He blushed even more. "Uhhhh..." He had no words to say. "Awkward..." Mike said and stepped back. "Why don't we go out sometime?" Victoria asked. "Um... Victoria, um... No thanks." Scott said. "Okay, we- W-What?!" She said, flabbergasted. "Uh, yeah. I really don't like you like that." Scott said. "I-but-I... I-I've never been rejected before!" Victoria stuttered. "There's always a first time." Scott said, smirking. "I-uh-I... W-Whatever! There's plenty of other guys who'd rather go out with me!" Victoria said and walked away. "Come on, girls!" She shouted. "Ah, yeah!" One girl said. "What...? Uh, oh, yeah!" The other girl said and the two of them walked away with her.

Scott took deep breaths and calmed down his blush. Then, Mike started laughing. "Hey! Why so laughy?" Scott asked. "Well... *pfft* Did you see the look on her face?" He asked. Scott chuckled. "Yeah. It was pretty funny." He said. "I'm kinda surprised she'd have the nerve to walk up to us and ask you out." Mike said. "Me too. But, she really isn't my type." Scott said. "Heh. Guess not. Look at her." He said, pointing at Victoria and her group. Scott looked in the direction where he was pointing.

"And then, he asked me out and I TOTALLY rejected him!"

"Oh my gosh!"

"Wait... I thought he rejected you."

Victoria saw Mike and Scott and growled. The two of them started laughing. Then, the school bell rang. "Well, that was the bell. I'll see you after class." Mike said, waving. He walked away to his class. "Uh, yeah. See ya." Scott said as he watched Mike walk away. He waited until the other kids got to their classes. Then, he snuck down the hallway, being careful not to be caught by the janitor. Eventually, he reached the supply closet and hid in there. He pulled out his cell phone and called an unknown number. He put his phone to his ear and waited for an answer.

"Hello?

A deep voice said in the phone. "Guys... I found him. He's the one." He said.
