So sorry I haven't been updating at all. I just finished school yesterday and my mom is letting today be my "day off" so I am going to be writing hopefully a lot today. Btw if something is bolded that means yelling. Anyway I'll let you read the chapter now.

My uncle sent me to the dungeons without question. I don't think he noticed the enthusiasm in my voice, or the enthusiasm was just in my head. I decided to sit in the dungeons for a little while just to make sure that my aunt and uncle didn't notice that I had left.

After about 30 minutes of sitting in the dungeon I decided to leave. I moved the rocks in my cell and climbed out. I walked a couple of blocks in the hot summer heat over to by best friend's house. Taylor Charter. She was my best friend so she knew about all of my powers, including my mind reading one.

When I got to her house I knocked on her door and her mom answered. "Hello Mrs. Charter, is Taylor home?"

"Hello December! Yes, Taylor is home." she said.

"May I come in?" I said. I always tried to have proper manners around Taylor's parents. I didn't want to end up getting kicked out of their house.

"Yes, of course you can come in. Taylor, December's here" She called"

"Coming" Taylor called from upstairs. There were three bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs. Her brother got his own bathroom and bedroom and so did she the last room was and office. Downstairs they had a huge kitchen/ dining room, a living room with cable, a couch, and two rocking chairs.

Taylor came running down the stairs and instantly laughed when she saw me. I started laughing with her. Herr mom looked at us like we were crazy and Taylor led me upstairs. As soon as we got in her room she asked if it was the dungeons when I said yes she burst out laughing again. She did this every time for the past eight years since I moved in with my aunt and uncle.

"So how did you get into the dungeons this time?" she asked once she had stopped laughing.

"My uncle threw me in the dungeons for saying 'eww' the my aunts cooking." I said

"What did she make this time?" she asked

"Mushroom soup" I said with a disgusted look on my face.

She had the same look on her face. That is one of the reasons we are best friends, we have the likes and dislikes.

I chucked lightly at the look on her face, but instantly stopped when my stomach grumbled. I looked at Taylor with puppy dog eyes even though we were both 15 years old. She said they hadn't eaten dinner yet and I could eat here.

All I could think about is that my aunt and uncle are currently eating mushroom soup for no reason.

Hello I hope you all like this chapter. There will be power stuff in the next chapter I promise. Anyways...OMG GUYS 9 READS THIS IS AMAZING!!!! I was not expecting that many reads my I am defiantly not complaining! Thank you all so much! And over the next couple weeks I will hopefully update every two days so the next update will most likely be 6/7/2015 then 6/10/2015 and so on because I will be writing a lot today.
