Snowball told the announcer to ask Pencil and Match random questions, especially related to the alliance. Imedeittly, the announcer had 2 questions in mind. So he went over there.

"Hi, you two" "Ugh-hey talking box guy" "Yeah, like, hey." "How would you two react if someone tried to resign from the alliance?" "I mean... can they do that?" They spoke for a bit. "I mean, they'd have to give us a good reason for us to let them" "What would that be?" "If it would make it easier for us to beat up Spongy or Golf Ball or something." "Interesting..." "And we should have some punishment for trying that" Then he secretly wrote that down, then asked something else.

"Pencil, what made you the leader anyway?" "What do you mean?" "Well, the alliance was Bubble's idea, she didn't say someone got to be the leader, therefore there is none." Pencil froze. The announcer thought of more questions, writing their answers down. He saved the most important question for last. "What are you two doing?" "Well, we were thinking we brought the alliance together for a grilled cheese shop!" "Aren't Bubble and Ruby owning a grocery store right now?" "We'll cross that bridge once we get to it." The announcer finished writing everything down, then went back to the group. He told them everything about it but mentioned the whole grilled cheese thing last.

At this point, Lightning decided to finally tell Book about it. Right after The announcer got the orb, Lightning invited Book to the group. Book knew she wanted to join, but decided to take a minute to mentally prepare herself first. Coiny noticed but shrugged it off until later. Oh yeah, and the announcer improved his home's look a bit, then made the orb do its thing on himself, and finally finished up the place the mini-competition would take place.
