The night settled over the Inutaisho Palace with an uneasy calm. Heather, comfortably curled up in her favorite spot - a plush cushion that perfectly accommodated her curvy figure - stretched lazily.

"I'm ordering more dango," she announced to Inuyasha and Sesshomaru.

Suddenly, the air changed. A malevolent energy cut through the peaceful evening like a knife.

Hiten materialized, his thunderbolt lance crackling with deadly electricity. But instead of targeting Inuyasha, he made a surprising move - he grabbed Heather.

"Interesting," Hiten smirked. "A human mate to two demons a prince and a half breed? She'll make an excellent bargaining chip."

"HEATHER!" Inuyasha and Sesshomaru roared simultaneously.

Manten, meanwhile, had grabbed Kagome. "A special ingredient for my hair-growth potion," he cackled.

Shippo went pale. These were the demons who had murdered his father.

Sesshomaru's youki began to build, a dangerous cold spreading through the room. "These insects DARE to take what is OURS?"

Inuyasha's ears were flat, rage building. "I'm going to DESTROY you!"

Hiten laughed, dragging a struggling Heather. "Two demons one a prince and other half breed and I still managed to kidnap their mate? Too easy!"

Heather, for her part, was less scared and more annoyed. "Really? ANOTHER kidnapping?"

Jaken was running in circles. "LORD SESSHOMARU! WHAT DO WE DO?"

Piper muttered, "And I thought our family had drama."

The chase was about to begin.
