Soon it was time for a battle both sides wouldn't expect, The Tree Of Life had the upper hand though, both knowing the plan and having someone deep inside should help Kion and Rani stop the attack from damaging anything. They were ready, for action, adrenaline and possibly blood split on the lands known for healing. Everyone was on ease, sharp and resilient. Although Yassain wanted to cause grief among others, Kion wanted nothing less. Fighting by Rani he promises to help, defend and protect these lands. Again having the upper hand Kion had the roar of the elders, new skills and tactics, nothing Yassain knew about.

Prides got ready in the cold dark early mornings, getting ready the plans went over again. Four teams attack four quadrants whole the main team attack the Tree and try to over take it. A simple plan that should work. For the Tree Of Life, two teams of  four spread out over the valley, to help and protect. More help came from the new refugees who insist on helping their new home.
Varya the mother of three tiger cubs joined the pride, Binga offered to help Bunga and Besthe over in the east. With Surak's Information they should win for sure. Two more hours till the sun rises, two more hours till a civil war will brake out that will possibly lead to a greater war within Africa.

Kion woke up next to Rani, still sleeping the queen slept peacefully, opposite for Kion, his mind was tumbling with thoughts about what will happen and the aftermath. Like the battle with scar Kion had his doubts, but forced his conscious to stay focus and resilient. Kion gently woke Rani up, nudging her around her neck Rani woke up, both were still very tired and wanted to go back to sleep, but not tonight. Work had to be done, a battle needed to be stopped and won. Rani smiled over at Kion who smiled back, both not wanting to think about the day ahead. In silence they walked out to see Makini and Ono there, " good morning, report Ono", Kion and Rani sat down outside the tree, freezing their butts off. It was the end of Autumn and it was feeling like mid winter. " No move from their side yet. All is calm and peaceful, our groups are based at our points and Surak looks fine, he is awake and walking with Kimala", With a nod Ono was dismissed to head back on over watch. Baliyo came walking down, ready and pumped he greeted them both. Makini came over and gave an idea to set traps around the tree. Kion liked the idea and set to work with Baliyo. The traps was too stop the enemy from getting close. Sharp sticks and vines was placed around near by trees along the border. Trip wires that will grab their leg and pull them up will activate, more tactical traps was placed around the edges and corners as Makini with help of a few more Monkeys helped out. All was set and ready for the fight in an hour, light started to trickle out from the horizon, filled with adrenaline everyone remained calm and strong, both mental and physical. Kion was pleased with them work they had with only twenty two hours to spare.

Yassain wakened up his troops as he roared over the land, all lions and animals woke and instantly ran out, ready for action. They gathered at the rock as Yassain once more read put the plan. Surak and Kimala was coming back, wishing he could tell her is real personality but was afraid she would snitch. Just arriving they finished up and was now ready their pledge

For Scar we will avenge

Hearing the pledge read out Surak felt sick hearing it, 'how could you praise such an evil?' Surak stood their in the cold wondering if the plan would work. Looking up to see Ono was there, spotting the egret Surak signaled for Ono. " I'm gonna go for a quick run to warm up, get ready", Kimala nodded, watching Surak to run off to their meeting spot. It was a different spot this time, high in the mountains, Ono debriefed Surak about the plan. Surak understood the plan, new traps and new troops. Surak will need to know what they are. Luckily he was wise and knew about the traps and what they do.

The first sight of the sun began to rise, Yassain ordered his army to lead off. Running in all directions  Yassian's army split off to the north, south, west and east. Leaving Yassain, Kimala and Yoboa to wait for Surak. The spy came running down from the mountain, looking ready and angry Surak was ready.  Yassain gave the directions and ordered Kimala and the other lionesses to be ready in case we had to treat the injured. They headed off towards the Tree Of Life to begin a war no one wanted or understood why it will happen, no one cared about the reason, they cared about protection and fait. If all goes well it'll end better then would expect.

In the West Fuli, Azaad and Anga waited for the Miroka team, getting the heads up from Ono, hiding in the dark and shrubs the Miroka team wouldn't expect them, their task was to kill every animals there, they need to refill on food stock but not today, or ever actually, the pride was ready and pounced, seeing the lions running Fuli jumped out, tackling the third lion that came running past. Anga and Azaad took on the other two, it was fair, a three v three. Totally caught off guard Fuli and Azaad took them on easily, the Miroka team wasn't expecting a fight so early and was off guard, tired and young one by one was badly injured. None made it out, still alive though they were kept captive, Jeberi a Young Mandrill came running down and put vines around their paws, fighting up so they don't escape. Kion wanted to keep them, interrogate them. They roared and swore at them and so was put vines around their mouths, not much wounds for Fuli, Azaad and Anga, a few scratches and bruises but lot less worse then them. 

In the south the Tikuma team attacked the animals, luckily two snow leopards named Timar and Chanda along with Varya and the polar bears, against same for Miroka team, caught off guard and was defeated quickly, although an experience fighter named Fashion killed a penguin and badly injured Noan, a polar bear caught in between.
Over in the north Besthe, Bunga  and Bunga was getting help from the civilian in defeating the Nakuma team, all experience in their fighting but was some how held up by Besthe who knocked out one of them. Using their nasty farts the two honey badgers let off basically a bomb. They fled, leaving one of them. The two were cowards. New to the job they were defeated and ran off like cats( well they are )
"easy", Bunga high fived Binga who signaled for another mandrill, he tied the vines and waited for the all clear from Kion. Unfortunately the East side wasn't protected and so many animals died, the last reaming team went untouched, Cry's for help ran out over the valley as Fuli and Azaad try to get there but was too late.

Kion and Rani was inside the tree, waiting, all was silent and so you could hear the hearts pumping at hundred miles per beat. Adrenaline was rushing all over their bodies as they waited for Ono to warn them. Surely soon Ono came flying in, " there here", Kion and Rani laid down, pretending to be asleep, Baliyo hid in the vines of the tree roots and waited for his move, Makini waited up high with a spear, ready to throw it. Yassain, Surak and Janku walked inside, quite and sneaky the waited to strike, Kion waited till they were centimetres away from them, " NOW", Kion's echoed inside the tree as Kion and Rani pounced on Yassain, Baliyo took on his brother as Makini flung the spear into janku's shoulder, just missing Janku saw this and ran after her, trying to climb the tree roots Makini threw many more objects at him afraid Makini tried to stay alive. Taking the fight outside Surak pinned his brother down and killed him. Using paint from fruits Surak poured it out of his mouth and onto Baliyo, he played dead as he rolled over and laid still. Yassain saw this and was leased, being bigger and stronger Yassain handled it well as Surak left to help Junku fight off many other allies. Leaving three major talented lions to fight. " so your the evil lion that wants to take my land", Yassain wondered how he knew about the plan, mixed in his thoughts Rani seized the opportunity and striked, having quick reflexes Yassain pinned her down but not for long Kion tackled him off as they had a one v one, claws went everywhere as the King tried defending his life and his Queen. Using a tactic know as Ushima, taught by Askari, Kion slide under Yassain and clawed his stomach then lifting his back legs and dumped him head on, Yassain tumbled to the ground, like a head less worm Yassian's body was wiggling as he fell. The physics and gravity didn't allow Yassain to float and instead crush to the ground. Not having it Yassain pretended to be dead and laid still, as Kion was approaching him, Yassain got up and swiped him down. Rani flung herself onto Yassain as she bit his neck, Kion kicked him in the jaw as he lifted off and backed away. Standing side by side Kion and Rani was ready to pounce. Again trying to trick them, he gave up, " alright alright you win, for now, I'll be back though", Yassain walked away, following was Kion and Rani to make sure, from the former of his green eyes Yassain looked back and smiled, trying to catch them off guard Yassain turned and slammed his law down but didn't have the chance since he was met with the powerful roar of the elders. Kion roared as loud and powerful as he can, sending Yassain flying, Hearing this was the other enermies who rushed pasted Kion and Rani, the Day and Night Pride rushed by sending them home. The mandrills and Besthe brought back the captured lions, " over there", Kion directed them to place them inside the tree. He'll deal with them latter with the PPO, Rani wondered if everyone was fine, all was good, a few scars and bruises needed healing by the tree but all went well. Nirmala sent Ono and Anga to fetch those who are injured. The day and Night Pride went off to see if they don't double back. Kion was pleased by his work, still needing to be ready, when Anga returns she was too fetch King Kikau. " we successful, no one can take our home. We fought well and no one here is dead", Surak came running back, " all good?", " yep", Rani gave a hug to Surak as Baliyo jokingly said that he could of gone easier. " better wash off the blood", Baliyo went off to get rid of the paint, He and Azaad was to check the traps. Surprised no one was trapped at all. Many dead bodies laid on the rough terrain as Azaad counted them to report the fatalities. Thirty dead and Twelve injured.

Kion went off to the alps and talked to his grandfather and Askari about the day events, it was late morning around ten when the fighting ended. Hoping they don't return but that wasn't going to happen, a new plan was forming in Yassian's mind as he tried figuring out how they defeated them. A question was brought if he too had spies in his pride? Will Surak's cover be blown?
